I love the review of economy sits because let’s face it, most of us won’t be flying business or first class.
We poor
Hello Jayden. This is a lovely video you've posted. I am a cabin crew member as well. Just wanted to tell you that we serve almost 200-300 passenger on each leg and 2/3 meals each flight. Its really not convenient to say the name of the dishes every time we serve that is why we ask if you would like a Vegetarian meal or a Non Vegetarian one. It is bit time consuming too. Do ask the crew members about the dishes they are offering, I'm sure they will happily tell you :)
Hi there, thanks for your comment, appreciate it! Your point is fair!
Great review. British Airways introduced Indian cabin crew based in Mumbai And Delhi in the 1970’s. The Indian cabin crew are referred to as International Cabin Crew because they were mainly present to assist customers who had language difficulties. The ICC wore a uniform like saree or Salwar Kameez so they looked more approachable and they could be easily identified by Indian passengers. Hope that clarifies why they dress up that way and the main reason they were hired to work on Indian flights. 😊
Ahh interesting thanks for all the insider knowledge!😁 It’s good that BA does that too
I've tried the BA A350-1000 back in March 2020 from London to Toronto. Such a radical improvement over the 787 and everything else in the BA fleet. The screens are so much better and the entertainment box is completely gone.
Things escalated really quick with that sausage. :D I recently flew BA in March and it was a pretty sad experience all around. I loved them when I flew them 15 years ago or so.
Agreed. I haven’t flown BA, but you rarely hear of any positive reviews in economy or Premium Economy. A lot of people have been disappointed with their Premium Economy offerings, especially with the fact you get the same food as economy passengers..
@@paulsz6194 you don’t…You get an upgraded meal…mid way between economy and business.
So many uploads a week, great! Keep up the good work
6:43 I love the unique engine startup sound on the Dreamliner
Great video as always!!
What a nice surprise, seeing this on Saturday afternoon.
Too bad there wasn't Tabasco Sauce packets for the egg dish. 😂
Thanks.
Liked the wing view with articulations of flaps and speed breaks.
Also the mist formed around the wing during a cool early morning landing.
London looks awesome from the approach path.
The vlog was eye candy. What kind of place was this? A B&B?
Beautiful.
Hi Jayden 👋. Good review, as always 👍. I usually pack a "picnic lunch" 🍎🥪🍪 especially when I'm I'm flying a long haul Economy Class route as I've pretty much given up dealing with the "mystery meal" that too often looks like the " dog food special" 😱🤣. Take care buddy and enjoy your weekend. 🤗❤️✈️🙏🌎
4:45 🤣🤣 oh please ... you are still so slim! ... 13:55 love it, as always ... I think it's good that you managed to get the last row corner seat in the 1st section of the cabin ... more privacy 👍
Great video!!! Im flying the same aircraft soon and chose the exact seat. Good to know it reclines. Thanks for the video.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching :)
I'm from England so I maybe fly British Airways one day! Again, amazing video Jayden!! ✈️❤️
Thank you very much the information was very helpful
Hi Jayden, great video as always. Do try and transit via Mumbai if you can sometime in the future and share your experience of the airport :)
You have such a straight to the point way of describing things and lm totally here for it 👍The take off and landing into Heathrow footage was great. What's the name of the Hotel you stayed at in London the food looked fantastic 😉
Aww you came to see me. Waiting for you in Yorkshire, see you at Manchester or Leeds xx
Hi Jayden yes you probably needed a cold shower with that heat. I travelled a few years ago with BA didn't think it was very good. Crew was really rude and seats were like sitting on steel. Hope you have a better trip than me. Enjoy you trip.
Wow, those Y seats are really looking ancient.
Boom ! that is one hell of an omelette review, its so bad it gave you COVID. Nicely done!
Hahaha cheers Tim!
Thoroughly enjoyed the flight!
I’m glad! Thank you :)
o wow a vlog on a sat 🥳
Thx Bro nice British Airways
I enjoyed this!
thank you! I'm glad :)
We will be flying one of these 787-8 from CVG to LHR once they start service this year!
wow interesting route!
I flew this same route back in 2018. Sad to see that BA no longer offers 2x full meals on India flights.
Although the service still looks much superior to similar length transatlantic flights :)
Hope to see more BA reports on your channel.
Managed to get 2 full meals on this route- was on a 787 and was in 2024
Hi there.. Have flown BA many times but been a long time since I did world-traveller class long-haul. Have to say, the food looked awful (dog-food comments below aren't far off the mark) & screen small; what are they doing using the 788 on DEL-LHR? That doesn't sound like the aircraft that would typically fly such a long & busy route. Plus seat had no side-headrest - many airlines offer this now. When I last flew BA economy 17 years ago, YVR-LHR and LHR-MEX it was a really solid product. Let's hope things improve with the roll-out of new fleet. A good review and enjoyed your travel blog as always. Keep up the good work!
I preferred the 2-4-2 seating.Good job
oh totally!! 2-4-2 on 787 is amazing. thanks for watching!!
The way you pronounce 'croissant'! ❤❤❤ Not easy to find those who can pronouce it correctly. Very sophisticated.
HAHAH thank you! No one’s ever said that😂
12:20 I'm surprised they serve the meal in a bag 😲. Did you reuse that bag in the end? 😄
I would probably take it with me at the end of the flight haha
I was keen to see how you managed Jayden. India is considered a low yield, volume market. Airlines target transfer passengers so little wonder the load factor was high. That flight you took is perfectly timed for onward connections especially for North America.
Haha quite a few Aussies do Qantas to Delhi then BA to LHR. Plenty of rewards availability this way. My neighbour from Delhi was transiting to Vancouver!
@@JaydenWong That makes sense. Very limited availability for LHR-SYD direct flights with BA.
🔥🔥🔥
I’ve flown this route many times, and the lounge in Delhi is usually packed, and hot. The food on your flight looks a lot better than the usual BA offer. Great video, as always.
Good review even terrible experience lol. Thanks for doing this for us. Luv
Agree with your observation and my own experience in the past travelling British Airways, that after a few hours into the flight the toilet floor's are always reminiscent of an unattended French pissoirs as soon as you step inside your shoes are submerged in urine and on leaving you stick to the floor and carry the contents and odour back to your seat .Perhaps BA should supply disposable overshoes or better still ask the cabin crew to do their job and keep the facilities user friendly .
Never, ever fly BA, they never improve.
Good! But please fly Myanmar National Airlines (Business Class) from Singapore to Myanmar
Great review!
Pissed myself laughing when you said the chicken sausage was so bland you thought you got covid 😅
🤣🤣
You wrote 1.21pm during boarding? Looks like early morning though. Am I missing something ?
Lovely video as always Jayden! Didn't know BA had different uniforms for their Indian based crew, that's pretty interesting. Wonder if they do they same for other foreign based crew hahaha. Also you mentioned that the seat was pretty comfortable with generous recline, how was the width tho? Are the narrower seats of the Dreamliner actually noticeable? Cuz I haven't been on one before HAHAHHA
India is the only country where the crew bases have a separate uniform. Any uniformed staff of Sikh religion can wear a uniform issue turban and some female staff including crew from Cairo/Bahrain bases choose to wear a head scarf but those are the only customer facing uniform variations.
My last 3 BA flights back to LHR T5 have had delayed disembarking due to either another plane occupying our stand (once) , or lack of ground crew at the stand, to guide us in and attach the jetway (2x).. and cabin crew can be hit or miss, depending on the day ..
they used to be ‘the world’s favourite airline’ .. now they are nowhere near that .. sad ..
T5's problems are well documented in the media. As you probably know other European hub airports have staffing issues right now.
Haha I did CDG-LHR with BA a few weeks after this flight. Waited almost half an hour for a gate at T5. We had to wait for a gate for this flight too but only like 15 minutes
@@alexmcwhirter6611 some of these problems were last year also .. they just weren’t being reported in the mass media then ..
@@oblongmusic3389 there have been problems at the other LHR terminals as well. Remember the recent baggage mountain at T2 ? Remember there have been baggage issues (not all the time of course) at T5 ever since this terminal opened.
long gone are the great BOAC days!
Thanks
Nice review, Jayden. Just one question: you said you were "sweating your a$$ off" when you landed in Dehli and went to take a shower in the lounge. Does that mean the airport airconditioning wasn't functioning properly? I always have that problem in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport which is like a terrible sauna nightmare.
Haha AC was ok inside the terminal. It was the jetbridge and how I was wearing winter clothes at first haha
Qantas is special for their crew and their seats together
Wow. What a big house. Really big. Nice.
haha I wish i live there!
As always... good video Didi. Love the humor like my big belly😂... Good points raised such as the uniforms etc. Why exactly I don't like the 787 for long hauls is becos the crew locked the damn window! If the chocolate bar is better than the sandwich that says alot! Stay safe 😘
I'm wondering how you manage to do so many flights Jayden, & never really look tired or Jet Lagged? I ask because many say the effect is worse down the back of the plane. (Over the wing is said to be the best unless your in Business or First & can sleep.)
haha you can't get tired of your own passion😳 A long layover also help. I had 7 hour in Delhi after my 12 hour flight from Australia
Wonderful report.Cool vortexes on landing
thanks Yannis!!
How is the recline on British airways. The aisles look narroe
Hii can you tell me what was the baggage allowance with weights allowed?
We always enjoyed something new from you, and this is in itself information that we benefit from. Thank you
Hi Jayden, may I ask if your luggage arrived, and if so, how long did you have to wait to collect the luggage at LHR T5?
I had two suitcases, Adelaide-Delhi-Heathrow-Prague. All arrived at Prague airport safe and sound!
Whats was going on with the Ethiopian 787?
How do you stay in such great shape ?
“Look at the piss on the floor” @ 13:40 🤣 hilarious! but unfortunately true! Thanks Jayden for uploading on a Sat 👏🏼 …do you get much jetlag or catch the flu, doing as many flights as you do, in different time zones? Cheers!
Random security check....they check your bag again?
Hi i booked my flight ticket but i haven't booked my seat. Will i be able to get a seat during checkin?
Can only imagine how it smells in that cabin
Perfectly normal, really!!
British Airways is my favourite airlines, keep it up always bro!!
thanks man, will do!
You’ve been reading the same book for five years!
not even two!! 23 months haha
"Looks like vomit but tastes okay" hahaha
Thanks for the great review as always!
my pleasure :) thanks for watching!
where is the Chai Latte with the walkers?
Not on BA 😭😭😭
I flown the 787 many times , not my favourite and I’ll avoid them if possible , however , the seats on this one were not typical , they seemed quite comfortable and even I may find them acceptable . I always like the approach to LHR ,particularly the 27R landing as in this one . I enjoy your non biased and realistic appraisals , keep them coming .
Yep I really liked this seat, it was definitely more comfortable than I thought. Thanks David😄
Well, they are better seats like Jal who have the real dreamliner. But yes, this aircraft is not configured in the proper way
@@sergiolaurencio7534 I believe JAL is the only 787 operator with 2-4-2 in Y on international routes.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 it is for now. I don't lose the hope at least another airlines would use it. But knowing them, and what they are gonna do whit the 350, mmm, I doubt it.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 . What a great pity that JAL is an exception . Facts are facts , and there’s no escaping that the 787 has the narrowest cabin for that configuration . Thanks for your input .
I love your channel have you flown air india
not yet, hopefully soon. I booked to fly with them in 2019, they cancelled my flight :(

do we need to book the food too while booking our ticket? Or they offer food by default?
by default :)
@@JaydenWong thanks bro
Can we work on a hack to override the 787 window lock?
right!! someone teach me please!
When you will fly to Indonesia?
love the videos mate keep it up!
👍️👍️
Nice one jayden!! Stoked for you brother, great to see you traveling everywhere!!
When you go back to Taiwan 🇹🇼, can you do some TigerAir Taiwan 🇹🇼 flight reviews
Why do BA do all of their safety demonstrations manually at the moment regardless of Aircraft type?
From what I saw online before it is because the safety video didn’t mention that you remove your face mask before putting on an oxygen mask. Wanna see them play the safety video next time I fly with BA lol
As mentioned it is to do with the fact the video does not mention the need to remove a face mask before using emergency oxygen. Also on aircraft with club suites there is now a shoulder harness in those seats and that is not on the video either. There’s no word of when a new video will be produced which means that due to continuing reduced crew levels the manual demonstration often has to be done twice as some cabin zones are not covered by any crew on the first reading.
thanks for the answers guys! Was wondering the same
There isn't any sound
Please fly Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Myanmar.
I want him to fly Bangkok Air...
13:42 and look at the piss on the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nice! That lounge at Delhi looks great, that approach into London is phenomenal! My upcoming trip report landing into London will be at night, unfortunately.

Do they offer student discount?
They do sometimes for students departing from certain countries including India and Hong Kong. Currently I don't see that they're offering any
U came to my place didn't meet me 😭
Seems like thing have not improved with BA, I agree with pretty much everything you say. My experience of BA was as dissapointing as yours.
Looks like there's no room for small bags under the seat in front...? 💀
barely really!
Wow! New video already!
haha yes!
1:55 I can't use my Aussie plug to charge my phone.
keep going Jayden u derisive the world you should fly to Townsville in Australia
More hotel reviews, baby please
Wow! They still are serving just breakfast on the Delhi to London route 11 years later. I took same route with daylight departure in Clubworld. We were given that meal as well but got served it as first meal. I didnt bother with afternoon tea. The toilets were worse in Club. It seems the staff arent ready to clean with each occupancy. Seems we are back to the days of chicken or beef. Virgin is much more proactive, I feel
Jayden need eat some pork belly or beef belly. Grass cutting help you prevent stomach belly haha.
🤣
No wonder why the toilet was like that 😂
Awsome was in London a few weeks ago plane was a bit early and had to circle a bit ,I didn't mind that view, not as good as flying into Sydney lol but it's still a cracker
haha Sydney you’re lower and usually better weather!

I don’t think I would ever fly with British Airways? I don’t like the food and also you never know if your luggage will arrive to your destination especially if you flying from London!
Didn't they offer you dinner?
They offered a light refreshment (sandwich)
@@JaydenWong we were offered a full Indian meal in the evening so it is surprising
was it an overnight flight and when did you take it? I’m assuming an earlier departure like 4-6pm they’ll serve dinner then light snack before landing?
@@JaydenWong no it was afternoon flight 1 pm from Mumbai . They were served lunch after departure and a full meal before landing in London Heathrow.
Ah I see, most airlines do tend to offer more food on day flights. That could be why. On overnight flights, they use ‘passengers want more sleep’ as an excuse to give less food
great trip I like 787
thanks!
Getting spoilt, Jayden !
A trip report on a Saturday evening !😂
You are right....the filling in the chicken sandwich looked disgusting !
The inside of the fully packed Economy class , looks really packed in , like a can of sardines !
At least the staff seemed to be helpful
It’s so nice

Ah Boy, why do u have a Bri’ish accent when u live in ... Adelaide? 😮😮
well Adelaide has its own posh-y accent haha
Back in the late 90's, the BBC aired a sketch series by South Asian actors called "Goodness Gracious Me". In one sketch, making fun of the then trend for 'macho' English chavs to go to Indian restaurants to order, "the hottest (spicy) dish you have on the menu". a group of Indian diners go to an English cafe and proudly order, "the blandest dish on your menu". That BA breakfast dish would have been well-qualified for such a description. Possibly the most revolting food I have ever seen.
OMG this is funny😂😂💀
On a brighter side, I love Beef Wellington, Fish and Chips and sticky date pudding 🤣
Thanks Derek!
