Thank you so much for always being an amazing channel and being a flyer for videos for me to watch. Without you I would have nothing to do. Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching Andrew😁
Your best review flight yet - I was not that big a fan of BA but you are changing my mind
I have been waiting for this TR ever since I saw your Insta stories! The crew looked lovely indeed; they can make SUCH a huge difference on big airlines like BA and AA. Glad you enjoyed the flight and that you brought us along for the virtual ride!
Agree Aris! Thanks very much for watching! :)
Great video. Shows just how much good service can make a memorable flight. Nice one.
Totally, Colin! Thanks for watching :)
Great review thanks Jayden! I have always had positive experiences flying BA despite the criticism they receive. I think the crew for me is one of their strong points. I didn`t mind the old Club World seats, but certainly the new Club World Suites will be a huge step up.
Totally, it was the crew for me too ok this flight. Thanks Pierre :)
SUPERB....... have a great November or dear Jayden..
thanks John!
I don't think I have ever seen you not in a window seat. Your flight attendant was delightful.
yep I don't normally let this slide🤣 But I booked this flight last minute. The purser was amazing!
Great video Jayden (as always). Your review really makes me want to fly British Airways when I get the opportunity
Another brilliant review, looks like BA have improved since I flew with them a few years ago, love Singapore and those sunglasses suit you really well!
Great trip report Jayden 👌
Looking so sweet there!
thanks Brian😆
A great and interesting video once again. I loved watching your videos. Thanks.👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
cheers Sharon!!
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
thanks Enzo!
Great report! The seat was a little strange but once the dividers are up it looked comfy and all, so hopefully not too too bad. Safe travels!!!
Love your videos bro
Hi Jayden thank you for video meals looked pretty good. Good when cabin crew friendly makes the trip enjoyable.
A great BA review, one of the best. The crew seemed great, and the food looked really good, no doubt as it was made in Singapore, doubt it would have been that good on the London to Singapore leg. The BA Singapore lounge looked impressive, way nicer than I'd expect from BA ... 😂😎
Totally! Well they would’ve had to pick up thieir games if they want to fly within the Asia Pacific. Like KLM’s Bali-Singapore is also amazing! More food than Singapore Airlines. Thanks Dean!

Hi Jayden. Great review as usual. I too was shocked to see the long queues at immigration in Changi arrivals. But not surprised. I flew Singapore Airlines Business Adelaide to Singapore earlier this month arriving T3 mid afternoon and had to queue for an hour to clear immigration. It used to be quite a slick
process. It's a pity that there are no priority lanes for business class passengers arriving in to Singapore at Changi as there is in Heathrow for example.
Wonderful Jayden... Singapore Airport.. my favourite
Thanks for the Video, Jaden. Your FA was absolutely adorable. They way, she cracked some Jokes with you was fantastic.
Totally!! She was a legend. Thanks Michaela :)
Great video, Jayden. Glad you enjoyed your flight. I have to say the seat looked a bit claustrophobic with the dividers up. Good thing you had aisle access at least. I’m glad they have brought back their pre-Covid service back now. The all in one tray service isn’t too elegant. Glad the purser was able to get back to Australia after all these years.
Very detailed review as ever. BA is so far behind its competitors, although I noticed today that a full food & beverage service will return to Business Class soon. I’ve flown in Club Europe six times this summer and crew were excellent and food vastly improved. I use my own money for all my travels and so Emirates and Qatar will always be my two favoured airlines. BA has got to improve a lot before I risk long haul again. Keep up the good work!
Thing is, BA knows its customers and markets. It knows that it can't compete with the Gulf airlines with its premium products, it can only offer a good European service, with prices to match.
Very nice ! 👍✈️
Ooooo, coat tree in lounge. 😂
The purser was great! "Just stand here my darling", she said. ❤
Loved the empty wine glass during the safety video. I mean, help me stop the boredom! 😂😂😂
Thanks for the double lav trips.
Nice "action" shot on landing.
I hope some of this made sense to you, Jayden.
Love SteveO
right! She was so sweet. And yes I needed more booze haha. Thanks Stevo :))
Hey Jayden, great video and so happy to see that you enjoyed the BA service. I just flew back from New Orleans (I'm BA crew :)) with the new Club World service and it is a huge step up from the current offering! The soup and hot deserts are unbelievably tasty. Hope you get to try it soon :D
How I remember the QF2 drama 😂😂 Another great video, well done Jayden. Isn’t it interesting how BA have had that seating configuration for many years on many different plane models. My first experience was on a 747. SW in the US also have rear facing seats.
Yep people say how much they hate this seat and stuff, but every time I'm in Club World, it's 100% full🤣 That being said, I look forward to trying their new Club Suite.
They have had their yin-yang configuration for 25+ years, believe it or not. Introduced in the mid 90s! And despite the complaints about their yin-yang seats, Club World was always full.
Love this video ps I’m going to fiji on the 26 or November to 2 of December ahhh on Fiji airways so excited
amazing!!
Hi Jayden 👋. I must say that I started this video with an " oh no, BA's crappy seat configuration, tired old FA's and poor food". Wasn't I in for a surprise 🤣. Absolutely loved your purser, the food looked better than what I've experienced on BA's Club World, and the privacy of your seat was great with the partitions up. This just goes to show that an airline can be better than its perceived reputation. If more flight attendants had the attitude of the woman that dealt with you, flying would be enjoyable again. Thanks for this uplifting and eye opening review. Kudos to BA and also to your purser. 👍❤️✈️🙏🌎🕊
British Airways needs to up it's game and go to 1 -2 -1 seating configuration. They also need to get rid of the rear facing seats. The food offering also needs to be vastly improved. I'm flying to Australia next year on Emirates. My routing is MAN - DXB - BNE on the Airbus A380 in Business class....
BA is doing exactly what you want this week! They’re upgrading the London-Singapore-Sydney to a refurbished 777
They’re also returning the pre-pandemic food service next week!
Latest CW seating is disposed 1-2-1. It takes years to roll out new J seating across a large fleet.
Agreed they should also lower those reward redemption fees. Dropping 1K+ for a reward ticked is ridic.
@@TheThirdoftheFifth Why would BA bother though ? When BA releases award seats for Sydney one year ahead they are snapped up within a very short space of time !
Aww Jayden looks all snuggly sleeping
Dont like seating on BA B787 BUSINESS Class.Great work
The BA Lounge has a cozy yet luxurious vibe. Thumbs up for that. 👍 Wow, you managed to get on board Club World, which is diminishing these days in favour of Club Suite! Your "throne" seat looks good - direct access to both aisles! 👍 No choice for the 2nd meal is a bit of a let-down though. 🙏
Nice! Looks like you had the full VIP treatment from a fab crew and a good cosy sleep too 😊
Totally! It was a very enjoyable flight :)
I booked BA15 club suite in December, keen to try the new seat!
amazing! I’ve yet to try that out, very keen to book one
I never go anywhere without some cash. I love cash! Thank you for the video! Have an amazing weekend!
Great video Jayden ✈️ of British Airways 787 Dreamliner ✈️. View of my Qantas plane the A330-200 VH-EBE at Singapore Changi Airport, that plane I took from Melbourne to Sydney on 15th of August this year on flight QF402 at 6am ✈️😂
Very nice flight in Club World! I myself would have prefered the same type of seat with the privacy dividers. Love the crewmember bantering with you, she's fab! So what was that drink at the end which rose like a souffle? Very exotic and cool. Nice work as always, Jayden!
She was absolutely amazing! Would love to fly with her again! So happy for her to get a flight to Australia. That drink was a Ramos, citrusy and sweet :)
Great video mate! Still to this day I find BA Club world just weird that you have to look at your neighbor so often. Glad it's being phased out.
Thanks for watching! Yep I look forward to their 777
I was just on a flight where I was in a window seat, yet there was no window. I felt so claustrophobic. It was such a helpless feeling not being able to look out of the window. I don’t think I would’ve liked that seat even if it was Club World. On the upside, anything is better than economy! Nice review as always Jayden.❤️👍✈️
It was dark anyway so that probably helped. If it was a day flight, I would definitely crave for some windows and lights! Thanks Diane!

Are you doing CZcams full time now? Loving the videos. I was in BA 787 economy back in July, comfortable but obviously not as good as business. The upgrade in business will be a welcome sign in the future though!
oh i saw the cocoa trees bag there :))
Please try Sydney to kl too mate
Great TR. Wow! I was shocked to see so many people line up for immigration processing. Usually there is no waiting at Changi for that. I'm glad these older style seats are being replaced. Nothing worse than paying top dollar and getting little privacy and storage for that 14 hour flight to LHR.
Hello Jayden, great report and so popular with your followers. Back in the 1980s I took the same flight with BA. I was seated on the upper deck and at that time the particular flight I took operated SIN-PER-SYD (at that time BA would also route its SYD flights via BKK and/or KUL). That original flat-bed seat retains its advantages. It was launched in year 2000 (at the same time VS also introduced a flat bed seat but it wasn't so successful) and it was a revolution for long-haul J class. It took BA's rivals many years to catch up with a full flat bed product. Ultimately on an aircraft it's all about space hence rivals would only move to 1-2-1 layouts when a new type of J seating was developed.
Hi Alex! Yep, many people have been waiting fro this trip report haha. I've seen pictures of BA 747 in ADL, I could wish they will re-introduce flights to ADL. I like this Club World configuration when I fly with family and friends, but understandably, many in premium cabins fly alone. Thanks for watching!
It was 1994 when they introduced their lie flat seats.
@@Locutus But it was not ! BA introduced these in year 2000 with *fully flat bed* seats. They were the first in the world. Until that time biz class seating was *angled lie flat* which as its name suggests was not fully flat. It was all about cost because fully flat seats take up more space. Hence for Club World, at that time, BA had 2-4-2 layout in business class.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 I should have been clearer. They introduced fully flat seats in *First* in 1994. They did introduce fully flat seats in Club circa March 2000.
@@Locutus Yes you are correct. These fully flat seats were expensive because they utilise more space (compared to angle lie flat) and that's why BA's international rivals were slow to follow (for business class).
Excellent as always Jayden! I must ask though where did the flight info in the description go 😮😂? BA looks a nice business class product but definitely unique seating layout… the middle seat looks great but I could go without a window 😂 Keep up the great work! :)
Edit: Just saw you got some comments on you calling it a fifth freedom flight and I don’t know heaps about it but from my understanding you were correct in saying this was a fifth freedom flight.
Danke!
thank you so much!! Danke😊
Lovely flight review Jayden.Very friendly crew but the seat was horrible from my perspective of course.Rear facing seat and i found it a bit tight .You are a thin person but for me being 1.85 and 88 kilos I would feel a bit cramped.Cheers
Jayden looks like wired seat configuration
it sure is haha.
Liked the privacy
Oh wow, didn't know there were business class seats facing backwards :o
11:11 The sauce looks delicious! Was that a gravy sauce?
Hi Jayden
Did you find that middle seat has more room than 13A window
Very good my darling... Love it! I love the crew! Easy on the vodka .. .....
No! 😂 Sad that it was not pre-COVID service! The product was not very impressive but the crew makes up for it! ❤️👏
For a night flight the 787 is ok but if it's day time I won't like the 787! The lounge yes it's nice! Wow first flight in 12 years. Middle seat in business class ain't bad except in economy!
I adore those checked socks wifey xx
Hi Jayden. I think I would find it a bit strange having a middle of seat with 2 strangers facing me. Especially while sleeping. I imagine it might be difficult getting in and out of your seat too, if the passenger next door was asleep.
The food looked great, and having a cabin crew with a good sense of humour helps any flight.
I quite like those comfy chairs in the lounge before you left Changi, too
Hi Heather, it was totally weird, but thankfully the dividers could be up the moment the safety demo is over (including takeoff and landing). Thanks for watching!
Yes there's much negative feedback about the earlier generation of CW seating. This started when other carriers moved to 1-2-1 layouts. However you have to remember that when this seating was introduced in year 200o it was revolutionary. Until that time no other airline provided flat-bed seating in J class. It took BA's rivals years to catch up (initially what *some* airlines would claim fully flat seating was actually angled lie-flat seating).
i lost you now i found you again you have a different name great flight
ahaha welcome back!! :)
Flew Clubworld BA in 2018. The toilets were filthy and I reported it to the the cabin crew who was chatting to her mate in the galley (so loudly it was annoying as I tried to work). She turned her nose down at me and screwed up her face "I do not clean the toilets sir!". Not allowed my staff to use BA ever again.
Sadly I've never visited Australia. I have travelled to North America on numerous occasions and plan on flying Air Transat to Toronto from the UK next year. Perhaps you could take a flight with the airline in the near future?
Possibly! I’m planning on visiting Canada early next year
Banter is a wonderful thing
Learnt that word watching Love Island 🤣
@@JaydenWong Cool! I am a London gay guy: you have to pass a 'Basic Bitching and Banter' class before they will even begin to consider you for membership!
今次波音787新加坡飛雪梨嘅感覺點啊?
Different kind of flight
You could have flown from London to Perth and than to your final destination though!.
I was in Singapore though not London
Sleeping with a face mask, when was this, 2020!? 😂
2022🥹 No face masks on Aussie flights until 2021😂😂
The BA Champagne glass gets smaller and smaller. And your egg-cup size one on board is served less than half full. They may as well just use shot glasses. And that meal looks just like SQ Economy class long-haul, truly shocking as a Biz class product. I do hope you didn’t have to pay for the flight. I used to fly BA biz on the LHR-SIN sector 3 or 4 times a year and there was trolley service for the starters, deserts and cheese board, not the all-in-one-tray crap they gave you now. And they STILL haven’t got rid of those horrible divider screens 😂
How long do you even stay in adelaide cause u travel alot but your hometown is adelaide
What time was it when you landed at Sydney
around 6am
Great news: Singapore has finally opened up again for travel - it is no longer required to get the clot shot as before.
indeed haha
Good 2 Know, Really. Travelled SQ AIRLINES in 1984 4fm Khi 2 Melbourne Via Singapore
It is tho. Unless you do a test
What the juiced pilot? Will he die suddenly on plane though?
4:57 Were you flying backwards?
yes middle seats are backwards
Would never pay premium for that kind of seat (fine if the company is paying)…i heard that they’ll introduce new seats, soon i hope..
yes this week!
Idk but am I the only one that hates backward-facing business class seats? Like...when the plane is taking off or flaring, then one's body will be pushed forward instead of backward which can be a bit uncomfortable, haha.
Nice as always, Jayden!
Hk buses have a lot of seats like that. I’m used to it 😂 Thanks Boria
I actually don’t mind them at all. The old club seats were certified with a reasonable recline in the takeoff position so it never feels like you are falling backwards on the initial steep climb and it’s been proven many times that facing rearwards is the safest position in the event of a crash - hopefully a minor consideration though! But all the UK RAF passenger aircraft used to have rear facing seats for that exact reason. However, it was established very early on that the average passenger preferred to sit facing forward so rear facing seats became less common over the years. That said, although this BA config is on the way out, the new Qatar Qsuites have many rear-facing seats now. The only thing I found confusing was taking off with the forward cam showing on the IFE screen which muddled my brain as the acceleration sensation didn’t match the picture I was seeing, if that makes sense! Given the choice though, I would definitely not shy away from facing the rear and actively choose those seats on a train as well.
@@PrisonerMusic : Makes sense, because during a crash the force of the plane will usually throw us to the seats in front of us, which will not happen if we're facing backwards. Wonder if this design can be implemented in economy class though.
@@LoneStarFlightReviews RAF transports eg VC10 just had economy seats which faced backwards and not forwards so it’s easy enough to implement but passengers are generally not in favour of it so it probably won’t ever happen. Some other UK aircraft eg the Trident also had a few rows of rear facing seats but they weren’t popular.
This is such a great video Jayden yes Ba looks so good I really want to fly ba one day. When are you sending this to non patreons??
Thursday as always
I was on that flight last week…business class was crap compared to Emirates…it was 787.
👍👍👍👍👍
On Monday July 8th 2024 I'll be Flying British Airways From Sydney Singapore First I'll Fly with QantasLink From Albury Sydney 6:30am Arrival 7:50am British Airways Sydney Singapore 2:45pm Arrival 9:05pm then July 11th British Airways Singapore Sydney 7:25pm Arrival 5:10am Friday July 12th then QantasLink Sydney Albury 6:35pm Arrival 8:05pm
I imagine all those crew are LHR-based. Do they dead head to SIN and work the leg to SYD?
yes LHR crew. They operate LHR SIN, take a day or two rest in SIN, then operate SIN SYD. There for a night, and same thing again on the way back. It takes 9 days for them
Whats it like taking off backwards
Just that the few seconds the force takes you ‘backwards’ but after that with inertia it’s the same as sitting forward!
you always flying no need to work envy u

Omg that seat is weird 😂😂😂
No shower room suites in the lounge?
have, but no time to go ;(
@@JaydenWong whoops

Extra vodka for him
No chai latte?
they only taste good in Australia! USA isn’t too bad😂
No dear, cheese is NOT dessert.
Hi Jayden, at 2.29 you used the word "furnitures" which is not a word. Furniture is an uncountable noun:, meaning it's either furniture or furnishings. At 9.17 you mention "shoulder rooms", the correct term is shoulder room, not rooms. This is very Basic English. With many many hours of free time in the air, it could be a good opportunity to brush up on your English and grammar. Watching Love Island will probably hinder this. Try watching international news for a better grasp of the language and also learning a bit about current affairs at the same time. Not the Love Island affairs and mindless banter.
I hope you didn’t mind my bad English, still working on it. I’m “bye-lingual” rather than bilingual. I speak three languages and it’s sometimes, frankly, difficult to master them well.
I don’t need to try watching international news because I already do; I watch the ABC, BBC and Hong Kong news on TV & CZcams every single day, and always onboard planes if they’ve got Live TV. Of course, I also entertain myself watching Love Island (which I have no shame of), documentaries, Tik Tok, Netflix etc. Thanks for watching!
@@JaydenWong Hi Jayden, thanks for the response. You also ask people to subscribe to your Cantonese channel even if you don't understand a single
word. Not sure what benefit one would get from this. It would be of no value to a non speaking Cantonese viewer, if anything it would be a brain numbing, frustrating experience. I guess one has to tolerate some poor English in your videos, however trying to maximise your subscriptions at the cost of others getting no value from a Cantonese video , really confirms that your priority is maximising numbers and not customer centric value and enjoyment. As stated previously, narcissism is not an attractive quality.
@@cm4389 You know, you’re being so rude and unnecessarily annoying. As much as I love reading comments, yours really do give me headaches and make me rethink about humanity
I have no idea what your non sense is about my Cantonese or Cantonese channel. I speak Cantonese and English at home. Not everyone speaks English like you. Just don’t watch my Cantonese videos if you don’t know the language, nothing’s wrong with that. I’m being more accommodating for making Thai and Cantonese content for those who understand those languages, who may otherwise not understand English
Now I’d appreciate if you be less prejudice and be a nicer person/commenter in general. Or I’ll ban you from commenting on my channel again. I don’t need your negative energy here
@@JaydenWong Hi Jayden, my point was in a previous post of yours, you ask people to subscribe to your Cantonese channel even if they don't speak.or understand Cantonese. I find this remarkably strange as one would get no value from watching a video of yours that they can't understand. I just couldn't understand why you would ask people to do this other than maximise your numbers. There was no prejudice implied, just total confusion as to why one would subscribe to your channel if they didn't understand Cantonese. It just comes across as not customer centric. I don't think that this is an unreasonable question. It would be like asking you to subscribe to a Russian channel.
You are not kidding- BA business it just not worth the money.
That layout was aweful.... No privacy unless you put up those small screens
i think this is the very first video ive seen you in the centre of the plane and not at a window seat. i must say... for business class, the toilets are as tiny as the economy.. def not much room once your sitting on the toilet, and i wasnt all tht impressed with the business class look. it DID look cramped and not worth over $4.600 one way... where was the PJ`s haha...
Jayden BA ?
They should never have brought back self service buffet in my opinion
Jayden u know the A380 requires a special gate
Not a fan of seats that basically shove u in the aisle
The lady doing the safety announcement sounds like a bitter old school matron lol 😂
At least they gave u “real” food
Breakfast looked so disappointing
Typical BA crash pretending to be a landing
The lady doing the safety announcement is one of the most amazing crew members at BA. The announcement often doesn’t flow naturally as the announcement manual has all aircraft and variants and the crew need to pick out which bits need to get read which can be a bit confusing!
What’s your fav aircraft?
