Villar family is 2nd in the list, why not include them? Also rags to riches story👌
These Korean speaks like they are Filipinos!!!! So amazing!! Pilipinong pilipino no difference!!!
It's nice to see Juwonee and Lynn here and I'm glad Lynn's English communication skills is improving...Juwonee on the other hand is really cute hehe
I totally agree, Lynn's English blew me away. Juwonee speaks better tagalog than me😁 Hello from California, USA.
I remember when my city got flooded, the SM mall open it’s door for everyone who got affected.
As a filipino with chinese ancestry I can say that, Filipino-Chinese community is so big here more. They are mostly doing business which is my parents also do. And Spanish-Filipino is the elite one here also, but I just only met few of them like some of my classmates in my school and my friend which is filipino with spanish ancestry.
The rich Filipinos with Spanish ancestry live outside the country. Most of them reside in Spain. Others stay in the country and are in the entertainment industry
what? the money they make from the philippines they spend it in spain?@@bmona7550
@@bmona7550 true, they still have connections with spain. I remember my friend who have 100+ family members in their fb page from Spain and Philippines😭 it's so cute bc they update each other using the page. I guess locket goodbye, hello fb page HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I also have Chinese ancestors. My great grandfather, (my grandpa's father) is pure Chinese. He had a businesses and it was going well, but his children kept robbing the business so it eventually went bankrupt. My grandma, said "we could've been Rich by now if only your grandpa and his siblings had discipline with their father's money"
It's... It's very frustrating but what can we do at this point. If only my Great-grandfather taught his grandchildren how to run and start business. Well actually, my uncle has some businesses. And one of his daughter also started some clothing business.
@@kish9836 actually that's also what happened to my family and it's so dramatic tbh. So here, my dad grandfather is half chinese since they are in like 3rd generation already, his grandfathers siblings use the money and the land for gambling. However, my grandfather is the smart one, he buy the lands and rn we have them and some of them was give to my grandfathers siblings however they didn't use it again in a good way. So, maybe you can start your family legacy again? Like do the initiative and be a wise person and not follow their wrong decision. Tbh, rn me and my brother have both business and my parents taught us to know how to handle money. And maybe, for your next generation you can taught that as well! Actually, on my mother side they are all in chaos lol my grandfather on that side is the owner of some gasoline station and have factories however my grandmother on that side has a big ego and pride bc my grandfather cheated on her like my mom should've been live in a good life bc her grandpa wants her to live with him but my mom grandma cut ties with him, now the mistress is the one who's handling the business💀 Anw, gladly my mom meet my dad💓💓💓
9:30 Actually the term 'Filipinos' from the Spanish colonization era originally referred to full-blood Spaniards born in the Philippines (insulares), while full-blood born in Spain are called Spaniards (peninsulares). The native peoples weren't considered Filipinos because they didn't have Spanish blood (naturales, or indigenous). When the Americans took over in 1898 they referred to everyone in the Philippines as Filipinos.
It was the Last Spanish Governor general who opens the Filipino Citizenship to all people... it was a decree before the end of Spanish Colonial Rule...
The guy who lives metro manila .. His tagalog is a god level mode.. 🤐🤐🤐
Zobel de Ayala's kind (of European descent) are The Original Filipinos. Filipino isn't a race it's a nationality.
The original “Filipinos” are the aeta
@@roninbushitoexcuse me. More learning ka pa
@@roninbushitowhen aetas arrived, there's no such thing as "Filipinos" yet.
There is an existing civilization in the philippines before the spaniards came spain is just an outsider the original filipinos doent look european most filipinos are austronesian they used to trade with the chinese people the chinese community came in the philippines before the spaniards came when spaniards arrived in the ph they pretty much look down on everyone who look diff from them i dont hate these filipino spanish people not really cos they pretty much live in the philippines just to run business and improved the country specially the ayala family i noticed a lot europeans do that even during the war no wonder as of these days there are filipinos who look european but it doesnt mean they are not filipinos they only married their own kind just to retain their blood line but some married a local like pelita corales but their genes are dominant than asian genes so most of her grandchildren dont look typical filipino ive seen some of them who look white but shes proud shes from the ph most of them are in upper class family
@@quenchtv5436 there is indeed a civilization during the pre-colonial era but there's no such term as "Filipinos" that time because the Philippines wasn't established yet as a whole by Spain. These islands are composed of various kingdoms such as Tondo.
Its actually not just the biggest mall in the Philippines but SM Megamall is the 7th and MOA is the 4th Largest mall in the world.
Iirc, MOA is still the largest when it comes to Shopping space, but just 4th in land area. Still the biggest Mall, if you don't consider the land around it as part of the mall.
Lynn was also here congrats 🎉
Yeahh thank you !
worked in Makati for 10 years and I have seen Fernando Zobel walking in the underpass going to Makati Med. Siya lang, may bodyguard siguro pero hindi niya katabi so baka sa malayo na nakasunod.
People I know who worked in Globe said they met some family members and very down to earth daw sila.
so truuuueeee... used to work for a hotel in Makati and saw their family one time eating at the buffet and they came to the dessert station.. they were so pleasant to talk with and not an ounce of arrogance was exuding!! i really believe the truly rich people are those who don't flaunt their riches in your face
LODI talaga si Juwonee at Young, Filipinong filipino 😍
Jollibee is all over the world, they're in Europe too, everywhere in the US, the UK, Dubai, other places in the Middle East.
You will never knew, you can be one of them someday, from the Philippines to Korea.
Wow !! Lyn is here ❤😊
Looking forward seeing more content creators like Purple Twins, Sylvia Kim, and others.
To despise the rich just becuase they are rich is inhumane. Together, we can make the Philippine society as the most accepting and considerate society in the world!
Can’t blame the people if the huge wealth gap exists.
@@bmona7550 I hear you! Especially when you can't also blame people when opportunities are lacking. I and a few people are advocating for Universal Basic Income UBI as a way to lessen the wealth gap and increase opportunities for people to get to work! Let me know if you are interested...
They don’t give a sht about you so you just take it up the backside because they are so used to be controlled
@@lovelynn_0422 you're welcome Lynn 🥰🇵🇭🤝🇰🇷
Mall of Asia is the 5th largest mall in the whole world. Not just in the Philippines.
14:18 same i thought of that too like ok we have WATSON but it's true i don't see mercury drug in SM omg ang galing mo hahahahaah
Thanks.
Top 5 in your list: Tan Cactiong FamilyCactiong; Ayala Family . Gokongwei Family; Consunji Family; nd Sy Family.
I hope you also added other great and rich and famous companies and families like Villar of Camella Homes, Pangilinan of PLDT, GMA Network group, Lopezes of ABS-CBN, if i'm not mistaken, Laurel Family I think - a courier company, Lucio Tan family of PAL, Mega World corporation, among others.
❤ so cool.
as a filipino who’s know for having close family ties (tho it’s toxic sometimes) i think its is also one of the ingredients of the longevity of the businesses that these families own. sometimes having close family ties is good😅
Asian close family ties are indeed toxic. In western people move out at 18 and have their own live while in Asian people stay with their parents and the older siblings will have to work to make money to sent the younger siblings to school. Something a western people would not do.
Hoping for Sylvia and her friend Bokyung in the future reaction videos.
All the people becoming rich is came from scratch, all though some are inherited by family. I used to live in here in ayala Alabang in my high school days soo very clean and beautiful.
3:21 maybe bcs medyo konti yung Filipino sa Korea (yes, may OFW Don) pero if compare sa ibang countries mostly mga USA And other English country yung karamihan na may Pinoy. So its really a marketing din kung saan mas madami yung target consumer+foreigners so yah.
It's nice to see Lynn here. She was still struggling in speaking in English from her very first video but now, Wow! A lot of improvement. Also, it's been a while since I watched videos from her and her family's channel. Gonna watch them back.
It’s the family oriented base of Filipinos that makes them different as well ig!

*I remember in 2015 when my friends and I went to Hong Kong Disneyland, and in the payment section of the souvenir shop, we saw a desk ad for a Banco de Oro credit card, and they had a special percent discount for BDO credit card holders.*
*I am not sure if there’s already a physical BDO bank in Hong Kong, but seeing a familiar Filipino brand in a foreign location makes me realize how big the Sy family is and that they have already penetrated and introduced their brand outside the Philippines.*
Madami kc ofw sa HK
Hello Juwonee, Lynn Kim and others
Juuwwwwoooonnnn!! 😍🥰
Hi Lynn Kim Im also from Dumaguete but after H.S we moved in Manila. Would be nice to see you there when I visit.
Last year I’m working here in Robinson Supermarket Boracay Some food and non food product almost Universal Robina
I live in one of the provinces in Panay island and the Semirara island is just close to ours. It's in fact part of Antique which is a province in Panay island. Semirara is known for mining, like most of it's parts are being mined. The mining company is owned by a Consuji.
Didn't expect Lynn to be here. She's so talkative lol😅. SM is my favorite. Even American malls can't compete with SM🔥
DALAGA NA SI LYN MAGALING NA MAG-ENGLISH, SUNOD TAGALOG NAMAN😊
When I was around 7 or 8 years old, I got lost in SM. My mom went inside BDO to withdraw some money, (honestly forgot what she did there) but I was told to just stay outside BDO. I waited outside but I wondered why she's not coming out yet and it's been like an hour. I mean, there was a lot, like I mean a lot of people that time but... An hour...? So I tried checking inside but couldn't find her. Went back outside and waited again. After like 10 min I couldn't wait any longer so I decided to just try and find her. Went down the escalator roamed on the floor lvl I'm in still couldn't find her. I was nervous at that point. Went back up the escalator and waited outside BDO again. Some people were asking me if I was alright, some guards looking at me. Yk, I could've asked guards there especially the guard in BDO but I was a really shy kid and I didn't want to bother them. Anyway, after what seemed like a year, my mom found me and she was crying. She hugged me and took me on the stairs and she was just crying asking me where I went. I told her I waited for a very long time outside BDO and she said she didn't see me. I was a small kid, and the whole time I was just in a squatting position. She called my dad and I was nervous. She told me she called the main desk (?) and told them that her kid is missing. A guard saw us and ig kind of guarded us. Dad arrived and he was frustrated. He told me where did I go. He was clearly very frustrated. I was lost for 2 hours.
I see Lynn from Hello Dumaguete or Hello Philippines. She is gorgeous
Nice lynn❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

You didn't mention the top 3 richest individuals today, Manny Villar, Ricky Razon and Ramon Ang 😮
because it focuses on FAMILIES not individuals 😂

Exactly the villars are still a family this is just biased nothing but tsinoys here they are not natives
@@roninbushito Also Spanoy families
@@roninbushitoI wouldn’t be really calling the Villar companies a family business when you have the mom in Senate, the son as a Senator and the daughter as a congresswoman.

Before the biggest mall of Henry Sy was in EDSA or SM North but everytime i go there...i got scared because the floor always move...i think the building is sub standard. Then came TRINOMA... i think Henry Sy was rattled...eventually he demolished his building and built a new one. One thing we cannot forget is the Comfort room or banyo...walang tubig at napaka sikip.
Ithe Mercury and SM story I believe is true.
Moa is the bigest mall in the intire world in shopping floor area..
Si Juwon straight tagalog talaga ayaw mo mag taglish girl? hehe
Yung magandang koreana gustong jojowain nang apo ni Mr sy..he he he I pray Sana ma open ang blog na ito ni apo baka ma swertihan..

Zobel and Ayala have to be the most memed surname in PH comedies. Whenever a character is supposed to be rich, they would throw in an Ayala or Zobel surname hahaha
naalala ko yung memes nung lumalabas yung anak sa labas ni francis m saying "15 years sila nanahimik" dumami yung anak nila ayala at sy sa social media hahahahah
"They dont look filipino" doesnt mean they are not filipinos now you learned something
Yes hendry sy is a filipino chinese
Chinese-Filipinos who are established in the Philippines for a long time most came from Hokkien-speaking China’s Fujian province. I heard they don’t get along with the Mandarin speaking newcomers from mainland China.
I feel like the Gokongweis are like the Samsung of the Philippines
Ang kulit ni juwonee Nung nakita nya yung yaman ni gokongwei yung piatos at chippy talaga yung napansin😅
You never tried Tim Ho Wan? Man, sarap ng pork buns don!
the Ayalas basically developed Makati from fields and swamps to Business capital in the metro. they're also the reason Makati wanted to annex BGC from taguig becus Ayalas developed BGC😂. they're the oldest corporation in the country. they owned the oldest bank BPI, which has many FIRST title. first atm, first credit, etc.
when Henry Sy sr died, his inheritance was considered the biggest inheritance to be divided in SEA with 19B usd. when divided, the sy siblings are still in the top 10 richest individuals in the country. it's also good for them that Philippines doesn't have inheritance tax unlike korea with 50% inheritance tax that's why a lot of chaebols are preparing for succession illegally.
The best and the biggest private bank is BPI which is owned by the Ayala family.
I would assumed that Manny Villar is the most richest Filipino, if I heard it correctly!?
D sinali ang Tan family?
Si Lynn yung Isa na bbae
