Bought one brand new in 1992! Had a settlement and fell in love with this car. Long story short put 45k on it without really and issues a couple sensors was all, was cruising in Tampa one Saturday and it just quit. Timing belt broke and that destroyed the motor. I was pissed I never heard of a timing belt only a timing chain..
The engine is knocking so bad, sounds like it's about to blow up.... 1:16 is where it starts the engine noise is knocking I know 4-cylinder tend to be a little louder than larger engines that just doesn't sound good.
