Exactly. We tried to balance last year's early start with a measured "stay in touching distance" approach to avoid fatigue. I have a feeling we will get it right this time. We have proven depth is key so no need to forfeit 11 point leads due to burn out. What we need is more quality game changing depth..to win those games we lost at home, and to spread for the competitions. Use both windows for key signings. significantly, we need to slap city at their home for statements sake.

daps forgot about the carabao cup/club world cup scheduling conflict. there was no way for city to win it cause the whole first team was to go to play the cwc in december. pep started phillips against newcastle, that says it all really. and there’s something about ucl/carabao cup schedule clash for next season, if it’s true, city will prioritize the ucl.
