Following regiments fought in the great northern war "1.Garde", "du Calla" und "Von Dresky" so I guess their regimental marches must be very old

Linguistisch und historisch bezieht sich "altsächsisch" auf den germanischen Stamm der Sachsen (der in Nordwestdeutschland beheimatet war), nicht auf die modernen falschen "Sachsen" in Ostdeutschland (richtig, ihr seid keine Sachsen).
Translation:
Linguistically and historically "Old Saxon" refers to the Germanic tribe of the Saxons (which was located in northwestern Germany), not the modern fake Saxons in eastern Germany (exactly, you are no Saxons).
In diesem Fall geht es um den Staatsnamen, nicht den Stammesnamen keine Angst^^
