The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, created and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of overall tone and style, the series is based principally on the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. era of The Amazing Spider-Man comic books, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to blend material from all eras of the comic's run-up to that point in addition to other sources such as the Ultimate Spider-Man comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, as well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series.

I love the rhino's split second of realization "I hate you so much " that he's been got. Little things like this add character and comedy to a scene in a way that feels natural

I like when villains are genuinely friends with each other. This is also how Electro was with Vulture in Marvel's Spider-man.
It's so refreshing when villains don't try to just backstab each other 2/7 and instead are decent to each other.
Man spidey really got his ass kicked in this fight really felt bad for him.
I love how the show really give him a challenge during this fight not only fighting but to also be hazardous with the weather as it can mess up his equipment 🫡

I love that Sandman got Spider-Man’s joke. I love that his villains aren’t one dimensional
If sandman got the redemption arc that was planned and became a full on hero like was planned then this could have been some foreshadowing as he’s trying to be supportive of spider man like a father which is rather touching when you think about it
