Ok. I've been watching videos on how to build a double fence for a bit, as it is my next project. Holy shit. This simplifies everything. No fancy math needed. You kno your craft well, and I'm going to use this method. Thank you!

Suggestion: You should be having a conversation with the person watching your videos. First, explain them, “Here’s what we’re gonna do in this project. …“ Every step: Tell them the step then zoom in on your hands to show them your technique; then zoom out and show result of the step. If you make a mistake, tell the viewer what went wrong, then tell and show how you solved the problem. Most of all, have fun making the video.
Very nice! You jigged up the truss in place with perfection! How green and wet was that treated lumber? I would suggest throwing some hidden truss plates into the gate because it is a dynamic part of the fence and they are going to sway and wiggle!

Do you then cut the top and bottom rails after you put on hinges??
Does it close inward? If so I would like to know the details on that
This is a good idea to build a double gate.but it would've been a good idea to zoom in on video more. Explain what u are doing. And make longer video. I wish i could of seen more.

Yes 6” I have been doing it like that with no problems for a while now. I’m open to new things if you got some better ideas or suggestions. About to get into metal frames just got to get the welding practice in.
