    What a lost gem 🏆
So little in print and rarer in film about Masten Gregory.
This is marvelous. And Denis McCluggage another American racer, writer, character. Had the pleasure of meeting her at Lime Rock a few times. And N.A.R.T. based in Greenwich, Connecticut, another team with top driver's. An exciting neighbor to my day job at Mercedes Benz for 20 years. God speed to all who devoted their lives to motor sport. 👍🏆💔🏁 🇺🇲

Thanks for posting this. I was there at the 'Ring in '61.
Camped in a tent. Weather went from rain to snow to sun!
PhilHill had to go out to retrieve his own Ferrari after the race !

The team name Camoradi may sound a touch exotic but it comes from "CA"sner "MO"tor "RA"cing "DI"vision.

The introductory ride is probably a dream of anyone who has ever been buzzed by clenching a wheel and a shifterknob ... open road , light attire , rumble , wind and noise .. a recipe for total addiction . thanks for dusting mine off :))

Love the birdcage Mazer and the footage of the Nurburgring. Lucky had a dream to win LeMans with an American team. He died in practice at LeMans in 1965.

Camoradi was on it's last legs in 1961, Moss bailed after Sebring, Lucky and Gregory did win the Nurburgring's 1000K though!, Lucky was badly hurt at Pescara.

A housewife in a modern-day Toyota Camry could probably beat that sports car around the 'ring now.

I know what you mean - and it looks a bit like it. But the fastest lap time in 1961 at the F1 race on the Nürburgring was still a remarkable 8:55 min of Phil Hill. I suspect a Toyota Camry would beat it.
