I have a setback and did a big chop in September last year. This was a result of using gel constantly. The roots were thick. The rest much thinner. I am now cutting out chemicals and using natural diy products. I am incorporated a lot of what I have learned from you. I am seeing so much growth in such a short time. Keep up the good work.
Awesome!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
You look BEAUTIFULL. This protective style really really suits you!
Thank you so much!!
You’re like the epitome of Nigerian femininity, you remind me of some of the calm women I grew up around.

A silent hair killer is tap water that is hard. Essentially hard water is the worst for your skin and hair.
Please use rain water whenever you can to bath and use on your hair.
You'll see such an absolute amazing change.
Ever since I started using rain water, i actually have my curls popping without putting any product in. Wet or dry my curls are still visible
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for sharing this secret I would like to try it next time it rains
I'm sorry, I feel embarrassed but, can you please explain to me what's rain hair?
@@vanessa_81don’t be embarrassed it’s okay. It’s just catching the water in something when it rains.
If you live in a highly polluted area you can also buy distilled water from the store for your hair. I do that

Wow, you look like a majestic black and NATURAL Queen. I emphasize NATURAL because it's rare to find these days.
Thank you for your videos ❤❤❤❤

I had to look up in my History to find this video just to drop this comment! I bought the *Rose Water & Glycerin, etc after watching your video yesterday. Today I used it and my goodness. 🤯 My hair is so soft and it dropping to the sides lool. Thank you so much my Queen! 🥰 Please do this my people.

Thank you Merica...I have heard people say that to me a number of time...🤔...Thank you again 😊..I appreciate you 🙏🏾
Exactly. I o let use plain water when washing my hair. But when I moisturize my hair it’s always clove water, rice water or even ginger water
My lady, you keep getting more creative with the hairstyles, it's what crazy that 'black' hair has been neglected. You're doing the most, what a beauty.
Edit: You're skin has improved, maybe have a separate channel for it. Nug, nug 😉
Our hairs would have been a lot better...done a lot better if they weren't neglected 🤦🏾♀️. But we now know better😊. Thanks for the compliment 🙈...a separate channel?🤔 am not ready yet..I don't know..maybe in the near future.. we'll see. Thanks though 😊

I think it from drinking the herbal tea that's why your skin looks so great 🎉 or am I lying ?
Thank you so much for the clear breakdown of hydration and moisturization.
You are so welcome!
I agree, showed your video to a friend with 4C Low Porosity hair who was getting to the point of being scared to wash her hair as it just knotted up (today's tap water contains fluoride and limescale) and it she left it to dry naturally in a protective style it would be wet for days. She tried a tea rinse made with distilled water, 3 days after a henna treatment (which dried her hair out a little) and after watching your video. The tea rinse left her hair soft and drank up the tea within hours like a nourished starved plant.
Thank you for sharing! Glad your friend's hair experienced the goodness and nourishment from the Teas Rinse. She just needs to include it in her routine and watch her hair transform. Thank you again 😊
Oh and lastly i forgot to tell you that you skin is so beautiful and flawless. Im so happy you are natural because some of our African sisters use skin whitening .

I abandoned plain water a few months ago. I have used only aloe vera juice on wash day and diy fenugreek tea and diy Amla tea to hydrate between wash days. My hair is shiny, thick, I have retained length and shedding has really been reduced. I had a huge shedding problem that I thought was just natural shedding until I began spritzing my scalp and hair with fenugreek tea every day between wash days! I spray my scalp with Amla Tea to enhance thickness. I also massage my scalp after spritzing with teas. Thank you for this video…it has affirmed the change I made!!
Hi dear. How do I make the Aloe vera juice to wash my hair with or do I buy it ?
Please also tell me how to make my diy fenugreek tea ?
@@AnnalineRoenelOor Hello! Buy it! I know there are some who make it from the leaves….but, Whole Foods has it. Get the whole leaf. I use it to make my Rhassoul Clay mask and I spray my strands with it before applying oil, leave-in and flaxseed gel. Refrigerate any you have left in the bottle. Use a mister spray bottle. 🥰❤️
@@AnnalineRoenelOor Fenugreek tea is easily made by boiling Fenugreek seeds. Try 1/4 cup fenugreek seeds to 2-1/2 cups of water. Ring to a boil and reduce heat down to a low simmer. When the seeds are mushy and the water has a brownish color to it. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain into a separate dish/cup/measuring cup….let it continue to cool and then funnel into a mister bottle. You can add msm. Dissolve it into the fenugreek tea and use throughout the week. I use it daily… but, my hair is high porosity. I pitch the fenugreek seeds but some people keep them!! Good luck!! ❤️
So glycerine it is 😊. Been struggling to find ways of maintaining moisture

@lindsaychrisharmony Queen im on a fixed income. If i put raw honey in spring water is honey in water good enough?? I also use a cream moisturizer after u spray the water.
@@KanikaNewsome-pj6jb Oh yes you can...honey is a humectant just like glycerine😊
@@lindsaychrisharmony thanks a million💚
I’m in a very dry climate so I had to stop using leave in conditioners cause I noticed it seemed to make my hair feel dryer. Since you mentioned that about glycerin which is a humectant, it seemed like it was pulling moisture out of my hair. Once I stopped using it and just did a light watery liquid spritz and seal with oil my hair felt softer.

just want you to know that God loves you so much so that he gave his son Jesus, fully human and fully God to be a perfect sacrifice and die on the cross for our sins. One sin can take us to hell but by accepting what jesus' death burial and ressurection from the dead on the third day, if you truly believe that, you receive the holy spirit who changes your desires, who makes you seek after righteousness by convicting you of sin(which is what he did to me). If you accept Jesus, he grants you the gift of eternal life and give you purpose. God bless, i hope you see this.

Thank you for the valuable information. Beautiful as usual.😊 Can anyone confirm that it is only possible to buy the entire line and not just one product (deep conditioner)?
It's recommended to buy the entire line especially if it's a first time purchase
Hi Lindsay, would you recommend the same approach for dreadlocks? I used the deep conditioner yesterday overnight, followed by, rinse, leave in, oil and cream(scalp only) this morning, my hair never felt better. Would you recommend cream on the locs, or scalp only trying to avoid buildup as I switch to 100% herbal? Thanks

I only use filtered water for washing my hair. I wash and condition every night and the results are astronomical.
Wash and condition every night ! Hey..... the time alone on this is more than i have .
@@janetg7605 My hair is relaxed, dries quickly and the beating of the shower water is a great detangler so combing is not necessary. No styling just braid, 2 strand twist or Bantu knot into a ponytail or two low pigtails. All three options result in curls when dry and loosened but I just braid and tuck it in. No pre poo or conditioning for a long time under heat . I only apply a non or low sudsing shampoo to my scalp only ,rinse then condition for 1-2 minutes and I’m done. I just discovered this some months ago and my slow growing hair that took four months to get enough new growth for a touch up now gets that amount of growth in one and a half months. I wish I followed my natural instincts in the past as opposed to believing the narrative about hair washing too often not being healthy. Although I’m relaxed I got this from the naturals.
@@CarolynForney oh I see. I use rain water currently. But this natural hair journey at my age seems to be never ending. And tiring. ..and toooo easy to mess things up . 1 positive thing I have found is onion rinse. It’s excellent. Can literally feel the hair folicles growing . Just need to combate my hair drying too quickly. ……
@@janetg7605 I’m 56 and although I’ve never had issues with my hair or a relaxer the growth was slow until I accidentally bumped into the daily more scalp washing. I didn’t want to try the onions for fear of the scent lingering . My hair doesn’t dry as quickly as it use to with the daily method . Could either be that the hair is longer so there is more hair to dry or that I’m holding on to moisture which is what I wanted. My hair is highly porous but now seems to be more balanced.
Thanks so much, please can I hydrate my hair daily with rosemary and cloves water?

One third of a cup for the flaxseed and rosemary (each ),..and a handful of curry leaves

Do you ever trimmed your hair ends ,if so how often??????
Do you recommend sticking to just one herb at a time? Is it cool to spritz/rinse/drink different tea daily, or is it better to stick with one or two?
It's fine to use different teas... whether you are drinking them or spritzing...they only provide your body and your hair with goodness. Then as you use them, you might find out the one or ones you prefer to use. And if you are enjoy all the ones you are using them enjoy them all.

Can I mix rose water, glycerin and aloe Vera together? If so what should be the measurements? I keep all that on hand
You can...though I haven't mixed all three together before. But you can try in small proportions and see how it works for you.
@kizziekente2468 yes u can,use less of aloevera because it contains amino acids which is protein and glycerin if u have high porosity hair
What about when we’re washing our hair ? Do we not rinse under the tap water ?
