Did you hear all the OHs and AHs when you showed the waterfall? That was beautiful. Yup live your life. Forget the naysayers.
You find the best of nature to share with us! The lake, river and waterfall are gorgeous! Love your dash cat!
Eric, we're not post COVID.
People pulling up to my RV in such a remote location after midnight would make me nervous.
Probably teenagers. 🤣. Been there.
@@Olmec24 they're just as creepy
2nd Amendment.
@@THINKPINKLAWNCARE Yes indeed.
Makes my trigger finger twitch !
Hogg Lake, BEAUTIFUL!!! , The river was super BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for ssooo much nature. Stay safe and travel mercies.
Beautiful! You’re absolutely right no reason to wear a mask when you’re by yourself and you stay 6 feet away from anybody that you might encounter at the campground. I am a huge proponent of wearing a mask, but I do have common sense and there’s no need to wear a mask when you’re by yourself and you’re not within 6 feet of anyone. Eric I love how you always follow the rules whether you agree with them or not you don’t break laws and that says a boatload about the content of your character.
Completely agree!
AGREED
So beautiful Eric. I know it's a lot of work to do these videos but you're a lucky man to be out there.
I'm the same way anything over 70 is too hot for me 🤣 The lake was spectacular 😍And sooo peaceful.
Great to see you so happy. In the last months I took a deep dive into your vlog back 5 years. You have grown into a great person. Love the Jax man.
Wow, thank you!
Thanks for showing us Washington state, being from south Florida, its a pleasure to see the other side of the country without having to drive there.
I was trying to decide whether or not to get a Thousand Trails membership. You helped me make that decision! Nope!
NOT THIS YEAR! ! !
Lol the animals arent what you need to worry about out there The two legged idiots are the scary ones
LOL
Got that right...
🥴
I was thinking the same as you, the two-legged ones are the potentially dangerous ones, esp if you aren't wearing your mask 24/7
@@MeNoOther Why? I don't follow
Sasquatch aren't idiots.
This driving intro and music brought me back to your much earlier days on YT. Those were good days as there was so much more detail on your day to day, especially seeing how you found boondocking spots when you were forced to get creative.
7:49- The sound of that waterfall is awesome.
Omg. What a gorgeous waterfall. That's what you get, Eric, when you camp in the middle of nowhere and hike. You get what you deserve :) Karma baby!
not a problem Eric for the ending. I'm in Calif. I know what your talking about. be safe and have fun
That so pretty like we stepped out of one world into another. It's the picture a painting for the eyes. Eric ty for taking me here
Again, that was masterful. You take 5-10 seconds out of a 10+ minute video here and there to let your viewers know exactly where you stand on current events; and immediately diffuse it back into what your channel is really about. You. Da. Man.
Wow you have come a long way since I use to watch you years ago, you had an old van, than a old camper than a nicer camper and now a bus...wow what a life, happy 4th of July....
As a resident of Washington , I LOVE the geology of the state . As the political climate went downhill and the population keeps rising it makes it a lot tougher to stay here . That surprise waterfall needs to be an oil painting . Hope you have a good time on the 4th !
Glad to have met u at paradise . We sat out each nite around a couple of friends we know . They did not tell us to limit outside time . I was the bike rider who knocked on your door and said hi . My rig was the purple with wheel covers
Hi Eric, have been a viewer for about a year now and this being my first message I’d like to thank you for the entertainment, fun, travel, great videography, and love of nature. Your channel is consistent, well thought out and informative. Continue to enjoy life in your own way, staying true to your message and not letting the negative influence you. Stay safe and have a great summer.
john doody: 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing, Eric. (that place gave me a bad vibe and I wasn't even THERE!) Please be safe.
Common sense is often not common practice. Masks outdoors, when walking alone, with nobody else around....there's no sense in that. When you enter a business, or when in public around others, then you wear a mask. I don't understand it when I see folks driving alone with a mask on, or wearing one when they are out walking alone, far away from others. Oh well....they may their reasons, but personally, when I walk or hike alone, I like taking deep breaths of fresh air.
Beautiful place! Love that spot by the river!
Always trust your creep alarm!
That is a beautiful lake! I was planning my vacation right up until you said 'rattlesnake'. LOL!
Beautiful place to camp, love that water fall😍
Sasquatch Roams near there. Thats what concerns Eric🤓
Lol! The Taylor joke gave me a laugh, thanks my friend 👍
We camped in that exact spot a few months ago and loved it. Ironically, we were also the couple in the Subaru that stopped to talk to you about the closed gate when you were walking back to your RV the day you were filming this.
Whoo! Did ya’ll see that big old cat that ran across the road?? Lol!😁
🤣
You always find the most beautiful scenery! I would go back to the woods also.
Thank for taking us along Eric. Carry on.
Brown shirt and tan Smokey the Bear hat!!! Love it!! Thank you for sharing how beautiful Washington is!🌲🌿🔥
Thanks again for sharing Mother Nature's beauty. Loved the Waterfall, river & lake. So sad that things are still closed due to fear & politics
Hopefully one day I can buy an RV and do as you do,,,
Tha lake is actually called Hogs Canyon and it opens for fishing on Black Friday but is open for hiking. They open the gate on Black Friday.
Great content as always !!
Congrats on making it back to Washington Eric, looking forward to some fishing videos!
Always trust your gut Eric! If the area creeps you out... theres a reason for that! Always best to be on the better side of caution!
Thanks for sharing this site Eric. I've passed that exit many times and always wondered what was back there. Since it's near a college town (Cheney), I'm not surprised there were people buzzing around at night. Too bad it spoiled your shot.
Great camping spot Eric! Love the lake and the water falls!! Idea for your fire starter needs: Weber Lighter Cubes (24-pack) You can get them at The Home Depot or Lowe's for around $5.00. They are very handy and make fire starting a snap! As for the mask issue, you are totally right on in your thinking. Seeing people driving in their car solo with a mask just makes you scratch your head and wonder??? Common sense does apply lol.
Ammo burning does NOT create a problem. Should ammo explode it will only make a pop sound unless it is encapsulated in a barrel forcing the energy released to propel in one direction. Freely exploded ammo will release the energy created traveling in all directions thereby reducing the energy to just a loud or muffled
pop sound.
What about shotgun shells?
@@davidh0809 I believe the physics is the same. Fire departments to not make a differentiation regarding ammo types as to danger of extinguishing a fire with ammo present.
Keep doing what you do
You show us so beautiful places. Keep enjoying.
I just love your sense of humor and the videos are awesome .. One day I will get to experience the same joy and love for travel down the road.
Yeah, I think I would go somewhere else other than an RV park. Good call. Keep having fun and thank you for the video.
We call the narrow paths deer trails. Usually wildlife follow them and that’s why they are narrow. The sign with bullet holes would have scared me off! Love your videos.
I take the mask off the second I get outside and get away from other people. 👍
Beautiful place and I think it’s cool you admitted just a wee bit of trepidation. I know some places just have that feel and you can be just as alone and remote in another place and not feel it at all. You’ve got good sensing Eric. Thank you as always for sharing these fantastic places. Peace ✌🏼
When you're alone don't worry about the mask. Wear it to go shopping and if your are likely to be closer than the 6 ft personal distancing. Ultimately what you said toward the end of your rant was the best comment. If you are out camping without anyone around you can let the rest of the world go by.
We have just received our Nomad internet set up and ditching Frontier. Thank you for the recommendation.
Wonderful!
It's "crappy" right now. At least you put your "crap" in a well deserved place...lol... that spot on the river was gorgeous!
Happy 4th of July! Gorgeous lake and waterfall. Hope you have a wonderful time at the fireworks on the beach. I lived in Naples,FL for 20 years. Nothing like fireworks on the beach. We had an international fireworks contest at a park across the lake from us. Spectacular! When I first came to Reno the family and I would go to a different waterfall each weekend. I really love waterfalls too! That lake was so beautiful. Thanks for the great video! ❤❤❤Big hugs. Auntie Leta in Reno
Come to 1000 trails and stare out of your window 😂🤪😂🤪😂🤪😂🤪
That's why it's called 1000 trails and not 1000 amenities. Lol. They should extend the renewable portion of the annual membership for each month they have stuff shut down(or offer a discount). We're not buying one till we see how they handle this for people like Eric and others we follow who use 1000 trails.
That would be a hard pass!
HAPPY 4th of JULY!! 💥🇺🇸🧺🥤🥗Have a GLORIOUS day!!!🤠😻
Great video Eric, and I do 100% agree that these days being out in the middle of nature is more enjoyable. I wonder how long it will be called Washington State? 😒
Just not pc... ☹
Some great views, stay safe and Happy 4th !
No, It's the new norm for TT and a lot of other places during a PANDEMIC. RV resorts are meant to be social which is an incredibly bad idea right now. You can't dis TT for shutting down facilities. That's the responsible thing to do, because, when it comes to "avoid it like the plague", apparently humans are unwilling or incapable to do that.
Enjoy the woods and have fun at the beach. Wish we were there with you. We miss the ocean something terrible. Hoping to be on the coast for the Long Beach Kite Festival in August.
THANKS ERIC FOR LETTING THE ( CAT OUT OF THE BAG ) !!!
Wow, that lake and waterfall, plus the river... man, what a beautiful state! Thanks, Eric. I appreciate all you do. Safe travels.👍🏼🤘🏼😎
Know it's hard to do new stuff with all the BS going on and I think you still put out great video's and have been with you for 8 or 9 yrs. Keep up the great work Eric.
🌼 Thanks Eric!!! 🐾🐾 Keep being safe!
Beautiful area. The waterfall was a surprise. Thanks for taking us along. How is JaxMan? Give him a big hug for me. Missed him on this video. It's been hot in IL. How's base camp faring without you there? Stay safe and happy!
Hey there...I really do love the beautiful places you show us and love that cat of yours!
We support you and your decision making process. 👍
I like the hiking videos Eric! Keep em coming!
You should plan a trip to Canada when all this craziness is over. You would love it!
There's a problem for that
Beautiful camp grounds you have picked..I don't blame you I don't wear a mask when no one is around but I do have it around my neck in case some one comes up+ 6 ft distancing I do.. Jack's is so cute walking across the dash.. Our Bell Star does the same thing..we too are a little uncomfortable in bear country.. Better to be safe about that then sorry...thus time of the month for vacationers for sure.. But no reason for them to impose on your camp sight like that except plain route. Have safe travels you Nd Jack's Happy 4th!!!
Jax
The van handles the extra weight surprisingly well!! Especially since we upgraded the suspension! Thanks for the kind words! seriously, weight issues okay I hope
I don't understand it, I see people wearing masks when the are in the car by themselves or walking around a campground more than 20 ft away from people
Walk through fear into the light. Shame lives behind the mask forever.
😁
New Channel wrong
they probably wear a condom when they go to bed by them themselves
Darin Fitz My husband and I don’t normally wear a mask unless we’re in a store or close to people. However, this week My sister-in-law and I wore our masks while in the the car and outside our RV. I did it out of respect for her since she’s 75 and it was her first time going anywhere except the doctor, pharmacy or grocery store. We arrived in Washington after being in Southern and Central California and the coast of Oregon. It was first time seeing her in six months and I felt it was a small inconvenience that made her more comfortable being around us. My main point is you’ll never know all the reasons why some wear masks, but it’s a personal choice an people shouldn’t be judged for wearing one.
I actually laughed out loud when Jax walked across the dash...I LOVE THAT CAT!!!!! I really enjoyed this video...thx Eric!
Eric stay doing what you are good at, giving us good place to want to visit and you know the rules, there are people who panic with a little germ. Get to those fireworks and enjoy.
Hey Eric great video thank you for sharing Happy independence day.
most 1,000 trails campgrounds where crappy 20+ years ago as well. really a hit or miss per campground. fishtrap is an hour from my house. its a very pretty place to camp. oh... your not alone (pun intended) yes it can be a little creepy. you get that feeling someone is standing right behind you sometimes. think its because it can be so quite there. take care!
I agree with you Eric..just enjoy nature!
Sorry for my the late reply it’s been a busy day. You are so right about masks! I am in CA where masks are mandatory in public such as grocery stores, Costco, and any other places that are crowded. I support this but I agree you do not need a mask if no one is around you. That’s just plain silly. Restaurants are finding clever ways to service people. At Kern River Brewery they have clear plastic curtains between the booths. You wear a mask until you get seated. Lots of restaurants have added outside seating 6’ apart. Anyway Eric just adding my two cents and applauding your common sense. 👏 I do take the pandemic seriously. I have a 96 year old mother I haven’t seen now in 4 months. We do face to face calls or I send videos singing You Are My Sunshine to her.
Safe travels to you and Jax!
Love your new intros!💕❤️
Happy 4th of July see ya Eric an Jax hugs always 🇺🇸🤩😍
Gorgeous footage!
and thanks for the 1000 Trails update.
You find the most pretty places to share with us.
Beautiful places. Thanks Erick. Granny fan
Great Video Eric, from the beginning to the end!!! A+
agreed on your views and thoughts, oh and great camping spot
Hi. Eric just got done watching your video love seeing Jax. Walking across the window. What a beautiful place I love the water. Don't worry about what people say. My friend and been following you ever since you started. You have our support. Happy 4th of July have fun stay safe. Give my favorite Jax. A hug 🧢🧢🍺🍺🍺🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🐶🐶🐶🍻🍻🍻👕👕
Eric needs a Berries book so he doesn't get himself sick lol
At least Chaz/Chop has been dismantled. Have a wonderful few days at the lake! Looks wonderful!
happy 4th !!!
The Taylor Swift bit had me rolling!!!
beautiful filming, remembering an earlier video and what you may have done with your degree, l would say your channel has given you this opportunity to use your skills, and they have only grown. 214 k people agree. l just wish every one that watched any utube site would put a like on for you all. not hard and if it helps why not.
Well times have changed but you still have fun Eric 😎
Good for you 👍 using your brains instead of buying into the hype. We just visited Tennessee and it was so freeing to go everywhere including Walmart without a mask. Of course when we stopped back in VA on our way home we had to put them back on just to use a restroom 😒 . Get gone with us only stay in TT. They have a very good video play list of many of the TT resorts.
That is a beautiful spot. So nice to see after all the crap on the news.
Good one. Spot on mask comments.
Another good video Eric, but I had to laugh at tp to burn, when your wood formation resembles a tp as well! Intended or not it brought a grin to our faces. FYI we live in MA and we've had more days above 90 than we've ever had by the 1st week of july. 75 is great and above, not so much. :)
Happy Travels!!!
Have a happy FOURTH of JULY! And hope you have many more happy travels.
I love your videos, especially the day to day challenges........Mike (Regina Sk Canada)
Your right, there is rattlesnakes there and bull snakes at Hogg Lake. Check yourself for TICKS as they have them there as well. Be careful of firewood stacked up, snakes like coiling up in them. Can't wait to see your fireworks video. Safe Travels.
Thanks for changing up the intro. Enjoy the 4th. I'm more worried about facial recognition, than wearing a mask.
BEAUTIFUL ❤️ WATERFALL 💓💖💓💖👍💖💓👍
Hog lake, what a beautiful place! Cougar and coyote country! I love the Naches River I would hate to leave that site as well. Glad you moved on though, will only get busier as the holiday approaches. We have paused on moving along with the opening phases in Washington because of the dramatic spikes of infections so ya, Thousand trails will just put a pause on opening stuff. Must be incredibly frustrating for all. Lol about people wanting you to wear a mask when walking alone, and away from people. Carry on, am enjoying your travels!
OMG THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST OMG YES YES YES
Honest?! When??
We’re not in a post-Covid world yet. Most states the hospitalizations and death are going up dramatically.
Deaths down. I know a federal agent investigating phony positive reports. Numerous docs n nurses coming forward to let them no the #'s being fudged. They are submitting unused tests with names, dob, etc, come back positive. Riiiight.
Theres very little honest info regarding wuflu.
🐑🐑🐑 no more

Really great video. Water is my weakness also. May I suggest that you can better utilize those camp fires if you roast a hotdog or at least a marshmallow or two on them. Maybe cook a chicken breast for your dinner. Safe travels to you and Jax!
