How to Oil Out Your Painting 🎨

Have you ever wondered how to ''oil out'' your painting?
In this video, I'll show you how to use this super helpful technique so you can continue to work on a dry painting where the values and colors have lost their depth and glow.
Oiling out will bring the true colors and values back in your painting so you can continue to develop your painting without having to re-paint large areas to create soft and natural transitions between the values.

How about a bit of turpentine /solvent in the oil. I see some people do it but fear it may be too harsh on the painted film. 2 months dried painting.

Hi. I have Winsor & Newton painting medium in my closet. The label says ideal for oiling out paintings. Do I use it alone or do i need to mix it?

so once i finish an oil painting how long do i wait to apply varnish? is it 6 months or is it shorter now adays? and what varnish u recommend for oil paintings
