"If you want to stay in the Matrix, you take the grey pill. If you want to wake up from the Matrix, you take the grey pi-...ah shit they're both grey. Shit I don't even know which one I took. Guess you're on your own Neo, probably why they call it 'the path of The One' or whatever. How you like your steak cooked?"
“You take the grey pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the grey pill and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”
Even though 50s panavision are great, the film noir aesthetics with the AI are even better. Looks like black velvet, diamonds, so precious. And the characters are more realistic.
people don't .. well most people don't understand black and white art is more sophisticated.. that sounds like a weird statement but comics art for instance.. only the vibes artists can do black and white and do the shadows and create a whole world. Colouring he comic only takes away the line and shadow quality. Black and white art is the purest.
Missed opportunity to have finished with: "dare to question your reality in a theater near you", and a label "movie produced with the latest 1940s AI tech"! It just seems so fitting...
Morpheus: This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the grey pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the grey pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Neo: Yes.
Been following these AI channels for about 2 months now and in just that little time the quality as improved immensely, its getting so good so fast, crazy.
1940s matrix cast Director- Robert Wise Neo- Montgomery Clift Trinity- Ava Gardner Morpheus- Paul Robeson (or Robert Earl Jones) Agent Smith- Sterling Hayden (or Bob Mitchum) Cypher- Edward G Robinson (or Peter Lorre) The Oracle- Hattie McDaniel FTR I chose Robert Wise since he directed both Born to Kill and Day the earth stood still, so I think a sci fi noir would be perfect for him Lemme know whatya think
I have just discovered these super panavision 70 videos on various channels. They are very wonderful and exciting, far better than anything that came out of Hollyweed last year except for Ferrari and Godzilla minus one. I do like the noir aesthetic as well 0:42
Looks gorgeous. Not sure it captured the essence of the Matrix though. The tripods from War of the Worlds show up in a lot of these retro style trailers. Time to give those a rest. Still enjoyable to watch though.
This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the grey pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the other gray pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Would be interesting imagining the lobby action scene. Imagine Nineteen Forties troops armed with Garands, Thompsons and Colt 1911s trying to get a bead on Neo and Trinity.
What was your inspiration for beginning this new art form? I would love to hear you talk about it. You have spawned many imitators, which is a high compliment. But you understand the subtle nuance that make these imaginary films really look and feel like midcentury products, while many others do not. Long may you reign.
Can you make 1930s 3 strip technicolor films like this? 3 Strip Technicolor: changed it all for 20+ years. Name them. 3 Strip Technicolor: "Movie title here"
The choise between the pills is more difficult than ever.
Grey or slightly different grey
Wow, well put!@@kirbyofthestarsfan

😂 That is so funny...
I choose to be Greypilled 😅
Were you listening to me, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the grey dress?
😂
Ha, right...
😂
No… the other grey dress
“You take the grey pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the grey pill and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”
😆😂🤣
Neo trying to log on with his Smith-Corona typewriter
Neo, sleeping at his desk. The typewriter begins operating on it's own: "Wake up, Neo".
That actully sounds so cool like the start of a ghost thriller but then the simulation reveal
@@MrTao-iy2nf Right?!
At least he can still follow the white rabbit? lol
Bringing the matrix to black and white really showcases the versatility of your process
The B&W pills are amazing!
Hehe
😊
Choose: gray or dark grey
It's just too bad Morpheus doesn't come along asking: "What is color? How do you define 'color'?" hahaha
melting pills
Pretty soon AI will be making whole movies.
What do you think is making Disney Star Wars movies these days?
I heard news they are already releasing a full ai made movie
modern writers write sort of like a.i. They can't create it seems but they can reappropriate.
Even though 50s panavision are great, the film noir aesthetics with the AI are even better. Looks like black velvet, diamonds, so precious. And the characters are more realistic.

Black and white art is the purest.
That's the problem with living in a monochrome world, you can't be sure which pill you are taking.
Trinity looks like Bianca Jagger. Computers with vacuum tubes would have been more 40s, and looked cool, too.
Missed opportunity to have finished with: "dare to question your reality in a theater near you", and a label "movie produced with the latest 1940s AI tech"!
It just seems so fitting...
"The film that burned out a thousand ENIAC vacuum tubes! Just so we could film it running in the background! See it now!"
Dang, those aesthetics 😮
I'm always amazed at these.
Completely outstanding.
The irony of this video.
Will you choose the grey pill or the darker grey pill?
Morpheus: This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the grey pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the grey pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Neo: Yes.
I guess the red pill would be black the blue would be white
makes Metropolis look like Winnie the Pooh
It looks great.
Black and white...cool machines...the fashion... everything fits well
you take the grey pill and wake up seeing you had a nocturnal emission😅.
La elección de Neo nunca fue tan difícil?: "Eliges la pastilla gris o la pastilla gris?"
Now, this is an appropriate cast for this movie👱🏻👍🏻
Been following these AI channels for about 2 months now and in just that little time the quality as improved immensely, its getting so good so fast, crazy.
Awesome 😎👍
Could you do Snowpiercer, Beast master, and Blade please?
Yes! Give us the Beastmaster and Krull as well.
Blade as a 70's era Blacksplortation funky vampire drama!
Ghost Rider - 1950’s Super Panavision 70.
This is just dark city 😂
Thank you!
It didn't help they literally reused the sets from Dark City while shooting The Matrix.
I adore old movies!
Looks better than the original Reminds me of the cinemaphotography of James Wong Howe, and of Orson Welles' "The Trial".
🔥The visuals are great as usual 👍 really like the noir Matrix style, brilliant
This stuff is so cool. Do the movie, "This Island Earth" please!
peliculas que necesitamos en 2024
There is a real black and white Matrix noir, one of the 9 short films of the Animatrix (A Detective Story)
Great stuff! Looking forward to your next one! Keep up the excellent work!!
0:43 That's a hot looking oracle. I love this version of The Matrix.
1940s matrix cast
Director- Robert Wise
Neo- Montgomery Clift
Trinity- Ava Gardner
Morpheus- Paul Robeson (or Robert Earl Jones)
Agent Smith- Sterling Hayden (or Bob Mitchum)
Cypher- Edward G Robinson (or Peter Lorre)
The Oracle- Hattie McDaniel
FTR I chose Robert Wise since he directed both Born to Kill and Day the earth stood still, so I think a sci fi noir would be perfect for him
Lemme know whatya think
For Agent Smith..Michael Rennie
@@caronstout354 ooh he’d be a good one, excellent pick👌
люблю ваши видео. отличная работа.
Would go to the cinema for this...
0:40 - it's the Whisper Men from Doctor Who!
Is a matrix video possible from the 20s or 30s era?
That Thumbnail is lit 🔥🔥
SERIOUSLY LOOKS COOLER THAN THE COLOR VERSION !!!
Woooow!
'In a world where reality is an illusion' sounded alot like Alan Watts
These are so much more interesting than the originals...
This makes Matrix trilogy looks like a remake of an old movie.
Amazing! Thanks!

They're headache-inducing nightmare fuel that I can't stop watching. Otherwise I agree with you.
This is Beautifull even the Squid Robots Looks Accurate
The Girl in the Not So Red Dress ❤
This version of Switch looks like Eddie Izzard.
Look forward to each one!
Do the movie freaks in a 1970s style please!!!
I really want to see this entire movie. I really do.
Honestly one of the better AI trailers. And apparently the AI thinks ScarJo would be Trinity.
Looks gorgeous. Not sure it captured the essence of the Matrix though. The tripods from War of the Worlds show up in a lot of these retro style trailers. Time to give those a rest. Still enjoyable to watch though.
Lot more of old movies came up. It's part of the charm.
Ì have to say 40's and 70s is where its at super unique unless you start doing 2000s wes Anderson style
This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the grey pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the other gray pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Sure would like to see one of these for The Thing.
Finally, beautiful Trinity
Very cool. For a black and white movie, I would differentiate the pills with different shapes so the audience can see the difference.
If Fritz Lang filmed The Matrix. 😊😁
I like how you used shadows to cover the kiss of sloppy cgi. Retro technique very clever
How did you make this video?
You know what a matrix based in the 1940s don't sound bad as long as the creators don't have anything to do with it
A short about conscious computers being made by one…
These are great!!!
Why is the Metroid one gone? 😢
Seeing those robots reminded me of War of the Worlds. You should do War of the Worlds. lol
They kinda did this with another film made in 1999, the same year as The Matrix. The Thirteenth Floor is similar to the Matrix but set in the 1940s.
Would be interesting imagining the lobby action scene. Imagine Nineteen Forties troops armed with Garands, Thompsons and Colt 1911s trying to get a bead on Neo and Trinity.
This looks better than the actual movie! Kinda has a Twilight Zone vibe.
Demasiado lindo ver este video😊😊😊
Really, really well done! BRAVO!

To be honest, you could just watch dark city on a black and white TV and get pretty close to this
Movie tip: "Dark City"!
Looks better than the original
"There is no spoon"
I think audiences of the 40s would have trouble with the concept of digital worlds
Love these, but the Matrix is already in the perfect time, place, and context. No room for improvement
Hey! Where's your Mario 1950's Super Panavision 70 video?
this is fantastic!
Please do a 50s 40s film trailer of what we do in the shadows tv show.
Надо было где-нибудь мельком показать ламповую нутрянку тогдашних компов!
Welcome to the Desert of the Real...
amazing!
Freaking awesome!
Outstanding presentation.

So cool.
Trinity is SO Gene Tierney!
god damn... this is too cool
A white Morpheus would have been wonderful! 💯
I wish this was a real movie! A movie de-make!
