- A Chinese national who was captured on video insulting Kenyans and the president has been deported. Liu jiaqi who referred to Kenyans as poor, black, smelly monkeys was deported this evening.
The ministry of immigration says he was deported on racism grounds hours after his permit for selling motorcycles was cancelled.
The Chinese embassy in Nairobi says the remarks were personal and do not represent the views of the vast majority of Chinese people.

my partner is Kenyan, grew up in Kibera...his family dug themselves out of extreme poverty to become middle-class. The stories I've heard (literally dozens of them) about Chinese people who come to Kenya for whatever reason who are just incredibly abusive and racist. Right near the Westgate mall in Nairobi...there is a Chinese restaurant, if you're black, you're not allowed in after 4pm. I'm not joking, I didn't believe so I had to check for myself. FYI, I'm white and Canadian and I could clearly see the hatred. Racism is just so effing ugly, I don't care who is perpetrating it or who is recieving it, it's abuse. That is overly cynical. There are many Kenyans benefitting from the improvements in infrastructure brought about by the joint efforts of the Kenyans and China. Of course, China also wants to benefit in terms of better relationship and more trade. But so do the Kenyans. Trade helps both sides when there is a 2-way flow. But until the African countries can improve the infrastructure and skills, the trade flow from China will naturally be the greater. African nations have to start somewhere, and this is what China is trying to help them get up to the level when they can sell to China and other countries in return.

Fact, most schools in China hire white skinned people who can barely speak English over native speakers who are black

Even if you experience racism in China plz be 100% confident in who you are always, if they make fun of you they are less than you.
