- In this video, I'm going to restore a rusty old wrench.
We'll see if it's possible to clean it up and make it look brand new again!
This gigantic wrench was manufactured by USAG, an Italian company that has been producing hand tools since 1926.
I contacted the company for information on this wrench and they let me know that it is a model listed in their 1952 catalogs under the name of model no. 294

Thank you for your appreciation, sanding is kind of a meditation there is no pain, it just takes a lot of time and patience.
This wrench isn't as big as yours from Bahco, but it's still a nice piece. 😄
I'm glad I changed my mind, originally I wanted to paint the shaft.
@@LTMS yes the blue is a much better idea than painting it. Your correct it is meditating in a strange sort of way. I just found mine was like ground hog day 🤣
@@Austeration In my youth I worked as a carpenter I had to sand such a number of pieces that now it makes me laugh to tackle a simple task like the wrench sanding. 🙂

Yes, I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a photo of the 1952 catalogue, I just added the bluish to give some contrast and character.
