The Stray Dog Saved A Stray Cat, And When It Grew Up, It Found Out That It Was A Gouger

- Have you ever wondered what it’s like to see the world through the eyes of a dog? If so, then this is your chance. This is Bella. She is an adorable puppy. We begin the movie seeing the world through Bella’s eyes. You’ve probably heard the saying “fighting like cats and dogs” before, but you might be surprised to find that doesn’t apply here. Bella spent the first part of her life in an abandoned building living amongst both dogs and cats, so the cats were not her enemies; they were part of her family.
Even though the dogs and cats weren’t hurting anyone, one day, two Animal Control officers raided the house. They caught and took away every member of Bella’s dog family. And just like that, in a matter of minutes, Bella was all alone. But Bella didn’t just have a dog family. She had a cat family too, and one of the cats saved Bella from the Animal Control officers.
Lucas and Olivia are two animal lovers who go out of their way to visit the stray cats and dogs in the neighborhood. Although humans destroyed Bella’s family, Lucas was different. He went to the demolished building every day to feed the homeless cats. On this day, Bella ran out to meet them. Lucas and Olivia fell in love with the friendly and energetic Bella immediately. Lucas even took Bella home with him so she could keep his mother company while he was at school. Bella was good at her job, comforting Lucas’s mom when she was sad.
Bella loved Lucas and her new home. Because she was just a puppy, everything was a game to her. She played all day long, and Lucas was a good owner. Even when she misbehaved, Lucas never got mad at her.
In the blink of an eye, Bella grew bigger, but she was just as happy now as she was when she was little. One day, Lucas found a letter taped to the door of their house. The landlord was coming to check the house. As it turned out, dogs weren’t allowed in their house, so Lucas and his mom had no choice but to hide Bella at the Veterans Association.
Dog: is owned, looks healthy
Animal control: OH FUCK IT’S SO DANGEROUS HELP OH MY GOD HELP ME
True
Lmao
I was thinking that too, felt very, very unfair. However, I checked up on things and apparently in USA the Animal Control can impound dogs for not wearing leashes, running away from their owners, or in Denver's case, for being a pitbull without a special permit and microchipped dog (though the dog didn't look like a pitbull to me but what do I know, I'm not a dog person)

The homeless man was very tragic, he was probably left at a young age, and can't handle the emotional pain of being left again.
And then him dying and not being found for days and only because some kids happen to be walking by hurts my heart so much. He had no one looking for him or checking on him, and if he did they had no contact for so long most likely. And it's such a sad and common story with so many of the homeless population
@@Starburst514 This is sad but true. I recently became homeless due to covid destroying my life. I seem to be largely forgotten. I didn't even get a call on Christmas. I spent it alone with my cat.

This reminds me of my mom's dog.
My mom had to give her dog to a shelter. She had no intention of abandoning him and wanted to come back to get him, she had to give him to the shelter since some thugs threatened to kill the dog if they saw him so my mom and her brother drove him 30 kms to the shelter and explained the situation to the people there and they agreed to keep him safe there. Some days after that, she got a call from the shelter saying that the dog had escaped and ran away, she was devastated hearing this and so friends, family, colleages all helped and tried to search for him but failed. About a month or two later, the dog came back to their neighbourhood and back to their house and my mom was so happy seeing him back and told the people at the shelter that he had returned home. He had remembered his way home and came back to his family despite going away.
When you need Batman like fr:
Why would thugs want to kill your moms dog

Honestly if a mountain lion was raised by a dog and could get along with me, id happily adopt them both
Mountain lions that are born in captivity and raised by humans turn out to be very affectionate with their people. The danger is that they don't realize their own strength and often hurt accidentally the people they love.

I've seen sharks, gators, grizzlies and lions. All children-eating monsters! What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?
@Scott Ricci - actually no. Cows kill more people than sharks. I've seen someone who owns a gator, and wild gators actually are mostly scared of us. Happy to tell everyone that Denver now allows Pit Bulls or any associated breed to be registered and permitted.
In a nutshell, theyre legal here since last year. Thanks everyone who voted on the bill!
I'm glad to hear this. The book and movie is extra sad because she's clearly not a pit. Maybe there's some mixed in there somewhere, but the guy targets the dog unfairly. The other officers say she's not a pit but there's nothing they can do. That's all it takes. 1 bad officer declaring them a pittie and they're lost to the system forever :(
Wuuuu! Congratulations 🎉 brother n sisters!
That’s awesome. Pit bulls are one of the sweetest breeds I’ve ever met. Pretty sure german shepherds have a stronger bite force than a pit bull and they are widely accepted so there’s no reason for it.
Thats good!
WOOOOOOOOH
holy shit was it REALLY a gouger?
Oh my gosh, my heart is melting! I really want to cry. It's heart breaking but heart warming at the same time.
This really touched me. More so as I have a beautiful little kitten called Bella, and she has a beautiful refined face like Bella the dog.
Bella has experienced so much and met so many different kinds of people. I'm absolutely astonished by how unbreakable she is. She limped her way, and survived coyote attacks and survived being chained up to a freaking dead guy. And she survived a car crash!! She had such a huge Odyssey.
I'm so happy that she was reunitied with Lucas and the Veterans. Honestly, the freaking pound makes me angry. What the hell makes Bella dangerous? How is she dangerous when she has brought happiness and joy to everyone she met?
And what came of all the lovely dogs and cats from Bella's birth place? They where such a beautiful family.
I'm just crying.
The movie states she's a Pit Bull so that's the reason. Honestly Bella doesn't look like it so that's the movie's only flaw but I enjoyed it.
The summary is excellent and to the point. Bella had such a difficult time trying to get home to Lucas after two years of danger, caring for new love ones, and saying goodbye to them. This film is incredible! Even better, the book! A Dog's Way Home demonstrates that true loyalty and unconditional love can never be broken, no matter what life throws at you. I'm overjoyed that Bella has found her way back home, to Lucas, where she belongs.
This did feel like a middle school novel. I legit cried bc I wanted to read the book.
This movie is so heartbreaking! I literally almost cried watching it :( Bella is an exact example of how hope should never be lost in tough times!

This whole storyline made me cry like a baby in my bed. I couldn’t stop crying because dogs do so much for the human race and even other animals but they still get treated badly. They have to survive and love like us, I don’t understand why there’s any law that goes against an animal that needs a home and unconditional love. She didn’t HAVE to go through all of that but Bella’s story inspired me to “keep going, no matter what…you’ll always find your home.”
The start of a legend
This actually technically happened to me. One time when me and my brother brought our dog with us at local Barber shop, there was dogs there and me and my brothers dog ran away because he got scared. Then we tried to find him for 2 months until after 4 months. He came back on his own. It was crazy, and he is still alive living with us. I really hope he can be alive for really long.

I know, I know, “its just a movie”, but more often than not “the pound” is given a bad rep and portrayed as unsympathetic, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
I, myself work in animal rescue and can confirm that animal rescue and “the pound” work very hard to get animals OUT of the shelter and would not waste their time trying to pry a dog away from a good home.
As an employee for “the pound” I face the ugly truth that there is nearly double the number of dogs as there are homes that are looking for them. It can be a depressing and impossible job, but it has its emotional paydays.
I can’t wait for a movie that sheds light on the truth behind “the pound” and gives animal care services the recognition that they deserve.

Do animal control officers really just- take peoples pets away because they seem “dangerous?” Like, right in front of them? that would be really infuriating if so.
Pets:*touch*
Animal control officers:So dangerous!!! anyways these are mine
You can try, but you'll meet a few bullets along the way.
Guess the officers and Kiotes (like hyienas) are one network...
Depends on the officer- the vast majority are just doing their job, and so act like rational human beings and will communicate with owners because a false alarm is less hassle to deal with than removing an animal, and because nobody wants to be seen as a jerk.
The problem is that some people are like the officer in this movie, and let the fact that they have the authority to do it go to their heads without considering if it's something they 'should' do. It's a problem inherent to any position of power, even something as small as Animal Control.
I think there's actually a law or bill or whatever being worked on to make this no longer an issue.

after seeing this, i am so happy their is no such thing as animal control in my country, india... we have stray dogs and cats living in streets, but they are usually fed by everyone living in the colony. there might be people who scare them with sticks, but there will be 1 or 2 houses that make sure they are not mistreated. only 1 or 2 pup survives in the litter due to cold or disease, but that's how nature is. at least we know better than to judge a life for our own conveniences. why should humans decide that this dog deserve to die because he has no owner, or he might be dangerous. that's just so cruel. no dog will hurt you without any reason, if you keep your distance, they will keep theirs.
