Hello friends.
Of course, many will say that such a belt sander is better to buy in a store than to bother and spend so much time.
In my case, it was like this: Since I recently started making DIY videos, I really need a Grinder. Having looked on the website of some manufacturers how much the average machine costs, my jaw dropped.
I don’t have that much money, and in general these belt grinders didn’t have the functions I needed. So I decided to build my own multifunctional belt sander.
The advantage of my Belt sander is that I can change the angle of the belt, and I also added a frequency control that helps to adjust the speed of the belt feed.
Even at the beginning, when I just added this video, many said that my Multifunctional adjustable belt sander would not even last a month, but as you can see in my new videos, it still works and works properly.
By the way, they ask me a lot about how I protected the frequency converter from metal dust, I just took and smeared the microcircuit with a thick layer of varnish and no dust now gets there and cannot make a short circuit on the microcircuit board, that's the whole secret.
I am often asked about where I got these wheels from and what they are from, to be honest, I have no idea, I just found them at the metal reception, and they seemed to me suitable for my project, so I applied them.

Спасибо за ваш отзыв. Начал то я с рестоврации старых не нужных вещей, и для след проекта нужен был гриндер,
Думал ну ладно куплю я его. Посмотрев журнал у меня челюсть отвисла. Даже самый дешевый гриндер что отвечал моим запросам стоил как минимум 3500€, вот тогда и возникла идея замутить его самому, а процесс отснял на камеру. Так как делал чисто для себя то и на эстетику не так много времени уделил.
Но начиная со след видео буду уделять эстетике не меньше внимания.
А тем временем в Гараже идет постройка писко струя:-)

This is awesome. I bought a 2x72 belt grinder almost 2 years ago and I still haven’t assembled it because I’ve been trying to come up with a way to make it able to switch from vertical to horizontal and also make an adjustable table for it. I also haven’t had much time to think about, so there is that. Your design and construction really has inspired me to try to get back to my project.

Посмотрел пацанчик, что тему с гриндерами в России по всякому обсасывают,- кто во что горазд .., и решил:"надо закрыть её" И создал: промышленный, тонко-упровляемый, разнонаправленный в любых плоскостях станок, закрывший всю сферу применения гриндера! Теперь если кто и переплюнет, то только космонавты, каторым ещё к гриндеру кресло в невесомости нужно будет👍👀😁! Отлично чел!!!The kid looked that the topic with grinders in Russia was being sucked up in every way - who was so much into it .. and decided: “we must close it” And he created: an industrial, finely controlled, multidirectional machine in any planes, covering the entire scope of the grinder! I would love to have that grinder. I've looked at a lot of other DIY grinder videos and there are some pretty awesome grinders with plans and some with plans and some pre-made parts, but this is by far the most simple and easy to make and would serve me well for what I need it for.

Чтобы сделать гриндер, нам понадобится, токарный станок, сверлильный станок, фрезерный станок, сварочный аппарат и ещё оборудование по мелочи. Плюс расходные материалы на десяток тысяч рублей, это если учесть, что электро двигатель покупать не надо и он валяется в сарае/гараже/мастерской. Отличное пособие, спасибо.

А также понимаю то, что если у человека у которого хватило денег на оборудование мастерской, хватит денег и на гриндер и он не будет тратить своё время на его изготовление. Разумеется если мастерская ему нужна для работы, а не для запиливания видосиков для ютуба.
this must be one of the most original and impressive belt grinders I've seen so far. And I've seen many many many belt grinders, actually, usually all about the same typical shape.

сварка точками делается на кузовщине, тут стоило делать швы сплошными. болгарка даже близко не должна находиться рядом с токарным (по-хорошему, даже в одном помещении нельзя работать), абразив - это смерть направляющим. а так все круто

Если делать сплошные швы геометрию гарантированно поведет. А тут она все таки важна.

While your welding skills can do with some practice, you certainly have fantastic ideas and nice building skills. I like the spark catcher plate, I've not seen that on other builds. Very nice job.

Finding a "well stocked" recycling yard is indeed the trick. Just those two proper rubber grinder wheels are several hundred dollars - each - bought new. Since they aren't crowned, I wonder why lawnmower wheels couldn't work, though speed could be an issue. Anyway, your and others' videos are giving me ideas to build my own, thanks!
