    Ive been a disciple of Jesus for almost 30 years now… im definitely not Catholic, but I’ve recently been going through a really rough, traumatic season of life… I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I cant focus, most of the time I’m barely holding it together. I found my grandmothers old rosary and I made up my own set of scriptures to recite that are meaningful to me right now for each bead, then I use the decades for different things to pray about… listing 10 reasons to worship, 10 people to pray for, 10 things I need to confess, etc… Ive found that it slows me down and keeps my mind from wandering off, it helps me to breathe.. its not hard for me to pray, it’s just hard for me to pray without hyperventilating or falling into tears or just forgetting what I was even doing. I guess you wouldn’t call it praying the rosary, but a liturgy of prayer using beads has been immensely helpful for me! I can keep it in my pocket or around my neck and any time I start feeling overwhelmed by life I have a simple way to ground myself and get my heart and mind back where they belong… It’s actually a really beautiful thing ❤

      @jeannebouwman1970 Před měsícem +1

      That's really beautiful, anyway that a rosary can help you bring you closer to God is fantastic. I would advice trying out the prayers on the rosary that do not involve Mary, like the our father, the glory be, or the Fatima prayer. They can be really beautiful to pray and it's awesome to pray together with millions this prayer

      @@jeannebouwman1970 It really wouldn't, lol. If you're not a Catholic this is highly disrespectful. You know we had religious wars for hundreds of years, right? Even recently in Ireland. I really can't believe how disrespectful you americans are, good grief.

Since I have 2 rosaries to mail off I turned to CZcams hoping to find someone who was attaching crosses like this and there you are! Mother Mary is not only the un tier of knots she helps me make new ones for her rosaries! Thanks and God bless brother 🙂

    May God bless you! I bought all the materials today, and happily crafted along with your video. I re-used a “crucifix” and a “centerpiece” from an old rosary that had lost a bead. I made a gorgeous rosary with white wooden 12mm beads for the “Hail Marys” and red wooden 14 mm beads for the “Our Fathers.” I used black cording, like yours. I love it because it’s the first rosary I ever made. I’m going to have it blessed, and start praying with it right away. Thank you. To Jesus, through Mary! Peace.
