- Lyrics:
You made me smile, dear
Now I never do when I'm alone
Pulling on a thread of life
Just to see what unravels this time
My love's a clone…
Once upon a time there was a boy who wrote a fairytale
Ding, dong, ding, dong
Where everything would go wrong
And one day then…
He found a girl he fell in love with
Who thought forever is only a myth
They lived the fairytale, prophecy
And since slowly grew apart, but…
One, two, three, one, two, three
She was dancing on their wedding day
Hiding deep the secret in her heart…
Till death do us apart
There's no sign of the love I found
In your heart, no more, no love, no wonder
You have tried to evade my touch
It is plain to see we're done, my weakness
When snow falls on the ruins once more
You're still acting like a madonna
That you are not
I can hurt you now…
I know the pain, you're already crushing me
By kissing me now…
You never should have loved me
'Cause maybe my heart is made of stone
But still I wonder…
If our once forever is done
Then, leave me
In the light of the restless night
You fell asleep with the wound, forgot to bleed
For me, won't you bleed for me
For the love, one drop, not more, my weakness
Snow must fall on the ruins once more
If you wish to see it end, you'll have to
Paint your lips with the blood-red tar of my broken heart
Blood-red tar of a broken heart
The taste wears off, leaves a tainted scar…
I am nailed down on the wheel of torment
Spin me again, celebrate ends advent
Beautifully rust, my pain of sadness
Following your bread crumb trail to my madness
The darkest acres of human hearts are
Lit by the cinders of lost perfection
Once in a life time love, affection
Withering tree, most violent passion…
Once upon a time there was a man who lived his
Fairytale
Ding, dong, ding, dong
And everything did go wrong
And one day then…
He lost the girl he fell in love with
She proved forever is only a myth
They lived the fairytale, prophecy
And were slowly torn apart
He is nailed down on the wheel of torment
Spin him again, celebrate ends advent
Beautifully rusting pain of sadness
Following her bread crumb trail to his madness
The darkest acres of human hearts are
Lit by the cinders of lost perfection
Once in a life time love, affection
Withering tree, the most violent passion…
You made him smile, dear
Now he never does, 'cause he's alone
Hanging on a thread of life
Just to see what'll save him now
He wonders
You were like a siren
Living on the island of his love
A drought in the chalice of life, so bitter
He knew it would kill him one day
Once upon a time there was a boy who wrote a
Fairytale
Ding, dong, ding, dong
Where everything would go wrong
Seems that he has found you now, so break the seal
And read the card
Ding, dong, ding, dong
“Until death has done us apart.“ - Hudba
This is really the best Song of their Album - I love it. So touching, so story telling. Even though people say they changed, I still love the way they move on!
It has been a while Sonata made me feel so hype with a song. That is a masterpiece
Reminds me much of Unia..
Good old times...
Undeniably awesome addition to Caleb saga!
Thank you
I think so, too.
@@senseinuuh all of the caleb songs are amazing :p
IMO the best song of the album, the others are great too, but this one stands out for me more.
Not that I can relate to it, but more that it's more of storytelling song, which I like.
👌👍
My favourite part of the Caleb story. I especially love the eerie ending.
Thank you, I don't think it's my favorite though
The ending that anticipates that everything will go seriously wrong in the next chapter.
would love to have a piano only version of this, could listen to it all day long :)
Just too beautiful lyrics, wonderful music and perfect voice
This is perfect.
awesome
Im drunk ane crying for my ex now, an d listening to this. Thx sonatat artivca for this masterpeice.
This comment made my day, keep it up :D
My wife just left me. I know exactly what you mean.
that's fuckin' awesome
0:41: keyboard motif from Don't say a word, turned into a hamonic sequence. It's cool that there's a leitmotiv principle in the Caleb saga, but I don't know if there is more than this that I may have missed.
One more Wonderful and scary chapter for the disturbing Caleb saga.
Could this song be part of the Dana saga? "Seems that he has found you now so break the seal and read the card"
4:27
Holy fuck, the lyrics!
Better love story than fkn Twilight
Sin dudas, el peor momento de la "saga caleb" 🤦🏻♂
so caleb kills juliet?
Not actually... He kidnapped her and tried to kill her and kill himself, basically she manages to scape and he tragically died alone.
He does in Don't Say A Word. The song is part of the Caleb Saga who's songs include: Caleb, Juliet, The End of This Chapter, 'Til Death Done Us Apart, Don't Say A Word, and finally The Last of the Lambs.
*This list is chronological except for this song which chronicles events before his attempted suicide in Juliet and post initially revealing he's alive in the opening of The End Of This Chapter.
@@Edin116 i'd love to know the story, but im a little confused, which songs should i listen?
@@Edin116 I think you forgot Broken?
@@Edin116 I think that Juliet in fact picks up the story where Don't Say A Word left it
I listened to the part at 0:41 for a while and those lyrics doens't seem right to me.
I think that "He found a girl he fell AND LIVE in love with" is what he says there. Even though I haven't seen this stated in any lyrics video/page (including Sonata's page) :|
the lyrics you suggested dont even make sense. they were correct there
