Cruising North to Martha's Vineyard

- It's time to head further North!! The journey from The Chesapeake Bay to Marthas Vineyard ends up being our most beautiful and calm passage so far, but within 24 hours of being at Marthas Vineyard things get stressful, fast. We successfully picked up and hooked onto our first mooring ball as a crew, but soon learned that we were close to dragging, and needed to move mooring balls NOW even though there was a storm approaching. Thankfully the following days were much calmer and we got to decompress and enjoy island life and eat tons of delicious seafood meals. We all quickly fell in love with Edgartown and all the beauty throughout the island. The ten days there flew by and then it was time to head off onto the next location...
I've enjoyed your videos of The Bahamas immensely! I've been watching them for a couple of weeks now. I never thought I'd see you do one about The Vineyard. I had a house on Chappy for 20 years and recognized all the places in the video. Keep 'em coming!

Martha’s Vineyard was a gem! Tons to see and places to explore and I feel like you can never really go wrong with a Japanese garden, they are always so unique and peaceful

I have never been to Martha's Vineyard but it looks so pretty!
It was our first time being there and we loved it way more than we thought we would! Definitely a great place to visit in the summer!

The beach at Aquinnah where the clay cliffs are is known as Gay Head. The best beach in the entire region IMO, spent many years visiting that beach, south beach is #2. Thanks for showing the island.
We LOVED it there and yes that beach was stunning!! Definitely one of the prettiest we went to in the region, I totally agree!

How big is your boat? I’m considering a motorboat instead of a sailboat ⛵️
We are are on Nordhavn 60, it’s about a 60 foot hull plus 4ish feet for the swim platform. That’s fun you are looking at getting a boat!
My sister killed a sand shark when jumping off Jaws bridge at low tide back in 1986.
