Such a legend....Just bought the 2024 Anniversary 450, looks just like this 500..My last race was in 1993. Was riding a 91 KX250. It still doesn't seem right pushing a button to start the new bike. But after owning it for 2 months and still on the original spark plug, I can get used to it lol.

I learn the hardaway I stood up real high and kicked it hard and compression hurt me foot and u know it likes to fight back bro also i dont have a 500 it was my friends very Rare in ireland
My Kawi doesnt kick back too often.. good thing because it can actually broke something
None of my bikes, regardless of size, has ever kicked back.

How is the actual riding experience with these big bore 2 strokes? And is it hard to find parts for a reasonable price?
The vibration on these 500s are brutal. I would get arm pump before the gates dropped back in the day on my 250. The 500's were twice as bad. After riding 4 stokes the past decade the 2 strokes feel twice as bad now lol. Parts are not cheap, good parts anyway. I've seen these bike sell for 15-20k now
KX500 is weird, powerful, sounds funny.. different but fun to ride

Big bores are actually pretty mellow in overall character. They aren't pipey like an 80 or 125. There is torque everywhere, and plenty of it.
Parts are pretty easy to find in the US, and some companies are making brand-new parts.
That's a lot of exhaust smoke do u care about the exhaust smoke that comes out of the exhaust ❤

Looks pretty cold ouside though. Probably 45-50 degrees so it's probably not smoking as bad as it looks.

500 kun käynnistää ilman vhm kantta niin on puristusta ja yritystä löytävä.. mutta tykkään käynnistää vaikka jännittää joskus
