Lawsuit alleges City of Austin is illegally collecting tax dollars for Project Connect

A group of Austinites filed a class action lawsuit against the city to stop tax collection for Project Connect, claiming the transit plan has drastically changed since voters approved it in 2020 and that unspent tax money makes further collection unlawful.
