    Oh man... Didn't know you had a video on this break cue. I commented on your other video. Can't wait to watch this... Thanks!

    Thank you for your reply, the cue I want the ld shaft to fit is an old Schon. I guess when I go to the Expo in October I will see how it matches up to my cue. Thank you for taking the time in helping me out.

      Jeffrey Stricko no problem. Jacoby’s website has the joint diameter if you’re still interested. Thank you for commenting and please share.

    Thanks for the review, not many reviews on this break cue yet!

      The Billiard Corner I took a chance with this break cue and the cue is not bad at all. I wanted to tell the weight of the whole cue, not just the total weight, and the potential of the Taom 2.0 tip. Thank you for commenting and please share.

    I bought a BK rush but I am also interested in the breach as well.

      XxSavage GamesxX I was going to buy the BK Rush but all the online stores I shop on was sold out. I have no regrets on getting the Breach especially since it is a little cheaper. BK Rush is a great break cue but I got lucky with the Breach because the taper and tip size is close to my Mezz. It did not take me time to get use to the Breach. Savage, How do you like the BK Rush?

    That break cue looks great... you did a great review of it too. I also prefer a lighter break cue as if allows greater speed when hitting the balls...
    Question... How is it comparable to the B. K. Rush cues?

    • @playpool12fyao
      @playpool12fyao  Před 4 lety +1

      T Z T Z I only did a couple breaks with the BK Rush. Personally I think the taper and tip diameter is too big. My Mezz break was sanded down to 12.80 with a pro taper and that was perfect for me. Back then I was not use to the carbon shaft since I was not able to bend it when I broke. I had to practice and get use to the stiff carbon shaft. I was planning to get the BK Rush but at the time, no one had it at the places I shop online. I decided to get the Cuetec because of the price and availability. I think with all break cues, not one is better. It all depends on how much time you practice with it. The taper on the Cuetec is almost similar to my Mezz so the transition from wood to carbon was not too difficult. I still put a lot of force downward on the cue, the shaft does not bend so my bridge hand just lifts a little bit. Thank you for commenting and please share.

    Hi, I am thinking about purchasing a 31 inch Jacoby ultra shaft . Do you have an opinion on this low deflection shaft? Thank you.

    • @playpool12fyao
      @playpool12fyao  Před 4 lety +2

      Jacoby shaft hits pretty crisp from what I can remember. The deflection was also very minimal. It was not mine, it was some guy in a pool hall I went to. I did not like color of the shaft. It was not as white as the other LD shafts in the market. It was like the old school OB shaft color. I think the new one are closer to snow white. One thing about Jacoby, I would measure your cues joint collar. Jacoby joint collar doesn’t really fit perfectly. They then to have lip (bump) when the shaft and butt are together. That would really irritate me. Most joint collar are .840 except Jacoby and Pechauer they are a little bigger. As for playability Jacoby are great shafts but if I was to buy a wood LD shaft, I would buy a Predator. Predator has never failed me on fit and finish. I use to hate Predator, had different LD shafts, but for some reason I would always go back to my 314^2. I has different cues with different pins and my 314^2s has always fit perfectly. Hope this helps and please share.

      rick kallio I do. The Breach with the Taom 2.0 is amazing. My break, especially 10 Ball, got a lot better. I can also jump with the Breach. The shaft is still straight unlike my Mezz shaft. Thank you for commenting and please share.

      12FYAO you like it better than bk rush?

    • @playpool12fyao
      @playpool12fyao  Před 4 lety +1

      I only did a couple of breaks with the Rush so I can’t really compare the both. I’m not really a fan of fat shafts. To me it feels a little awkward. I was not able to squat the CB, 9 Ball, when breaking. From my Mezz to the Breach, the transition was effortless. My Mezz was 12.8 with a pro taper and the Breach is 12.75 and a very similar taper to my Mezz. Maybe with time and practice, I can get use to the Rush. One biggest reason I did not get the Rush, I am not a big fan of the UniLoc quick release. Also, Predator does not sell the break tip. Once that wears down, a substitute tip will be needed and the break might feel different. Hope this helps and please share.

      Hey there . I finally might get a Breach but I’ve been eyeing a carbon fiber break cue from Fury. Any thoughts? I have a cheap fury jump cue and it’s fabulous. It’s just scary chance to take as Fury not super well known. Would love your opinion

    • @playpool12fyao
      @playpool12fyao  Před 3 lety

      For some reason Fury is not popular here in the states. I think they cues are not bad at all. If you have the Breach, I would stick with it. I love my Breach. My 10 ball break got better with it. I can consistently pop the cue ball and park it in the middle of the table with my Breach. Nothing against Fury, I am thinking of getting a Fury for my next playing cue. And if you really want the Fury break cue. I would get it and compare it with the Breach.
