- Children are wonderful little creatures. They are cute, intelligent, and can be a lot of fun. But are you ready to have one of your own? Do you really know what you are in for? To help you figure this out, Clint analyzes the human child to help you determine if a human child is the best pet for you. Maybe you should just get an ackie...

This is probably the best video in the entire internet, no lies at all.. flawless!
Omg I was coming here to write this exact message! The most underrated YT video yet! 😂😂👍🏼 I was laughing thru this whole thing! 😂
My only objection is that the children sat still for the entire video. Totally unrealistic. These must be either heavily sedated or else a different species entirely that I've never seen before. I really hope Clint isn't trying to pass off some wild-caught, mystery specimens as "captive bred humans".
It took a week to film, you can even see their hair growing during the video..
they score worse than the king cobra!
Yes true
60 years from now Clint's kids are going to make a revenge video about taking care of your elderly parents.
40 years would be enough and better lol
I would love if this became a reality
I’m looking forward to watching it.
heck, im curious to see this happen in 21 years (or however long it takes for them to eventually get their own jobs/move out)
@@ResaChiic I mean with how quickly kids are adopting technology now days it could be 3 or 4 years before we see something on TikTok XD
Somewhere in the galaxy, an alien is watching this and taking this seriously.
That's our biggest concern.
Over the past 24 hours global abduction rates have doubled. WE ARE NOT ALONE.
@@comradezy Well... Their own fault not going for captive bred.
I hope. Maybe they will care for me and other children better than the keepers we have now.
Well for the people who don't want to have children (they do exist) this would be a good video. 🤷🏻♀️
I love how a king cobra rates higher as a pet than a human.
Because if a king cobra bites you, you could be dead at once. A human child could make you suffer for the rest of your life. :P
@@klausweasley It's like being pecked to death by a duck over the course of 18 years.
You don’t have to give your king cobra the “birds and bees” talk 😂
same thing with sharks xD
@@KerriGilpin wait, you don’t? Well that was a waste of time.
I think the reason they are so popular is because of how unlikely it is for them to drop their tails.
Unless it's Goku in which case, you remove his tail. 😉

@@gregorymoore2877Except Goku is not a human lol
@@jorgitoislamico4224 Yes, you are correct. I erroneously replied as if the title of the video were "Sayan Child, The Best Pet? Nope!"

Worst of all, eventually all owners release them into the wild when they get too big.
😂😂
And I hear Humans are an invasive species too!!! How come the USDA hasn’t cracked down on this yet?!?!
🤣🤣🤣
Tell that one to Chris Chan
Sometimes the owners become the pets.
You forgot to mention that at certain points in their life cycle, they will demand to be released back to the wild, with most occasionally coming back for food and cleaning.
Very true!
They want to be released back!😭 true!😂😂
Hahaha
and money. They'll ask for more money.
my older sister initially demanded to be allowed to rent a house saying she would be able to save up and so on
well....no
The zooming in on their faces like with the other animals get me every time! 😂
As a lizard person from inner Earth, I found this video to be extremely useful for picking out my next pet, now I know to avoid human children when pet shopping.
I for one welcome our reptile overlords
DON'T take humans they are terrible to take care of and grow up as EXTREMELY impredictable and dangerous
I agree. Very helpful video. Probably the only one I've seen on CZcams. How they survive without UVB lamps, though, remains a mystery.
You know that's an antisemitic conspiracy theory right
What are you an African warlord? You make people sound like bags of potatoes LMAO
I was considering a human child, but after this video I've decided on a king cobra. Thanks Clint!
😂😂😂😂
Your comment has had me rethink my pet choice. I'm now thinking blue ringed octopus as an alternative to a child.
You make us a favor
Just... If you really do get a Cobra... Don't ever change your mind on a human child 😂 definitely never get one at that point, please! Lmao
Thank you I'm getting a venomous collection
THE CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE WAY TO KEEP THEM IS TO FREE RANGE THEM. I died
Right?!? 😂🤣💀 “but eventually you’ll need a room-sized enclosure.”
🤣👍🏼Classic!
I mean what is wrong with putting them in a 49 gal
As a 30+ year keeper of humans I consider myself a moderate expert. I concur wholeheartedly with the contents of this video. Extremely difficult, but totally worth it. The best part is when your kept humans have matured, married, and begin to keep their own humans. My goodness. The second generation of humans are so much easier - you can even send them home!
This was a great comment.
"the culturally appropriate way to keep them is free-ranging them, as opposed to keeping them in an enclosure" 🤣🤣🤣
This is one of my favorite videos on this channel, followed closely by the jumping spider video ❤
Showed this to my 13 year old daughter and she said "So does this mean we get another lizard?"
*this is me*
Omg😂
😂
obviously😂😂
She's gonna go far
“Hey kids, can you sit on this table for twenty minutes while I make fun of you and call you my pets, Kay?”
Were you there??
@@ClintsReptiles Would have been very interesting to watch. Ether way, this was a very funny video. I'm sure they won't take it the wrong way.
The kids are famous now, and they don't seem distressed - pretty sure they're fine ;-P
they're better behaved than the dog video even, clint has them very well trained.
They looked like they were trying not to laugh the whole time XD
(Shakes head) Endotherms, man.
I have a young human child. Bred her myself, but props to those that rescue (I was a rescue). ❤
Score is accurate, but she is amazing.
I got to say you're making a pretty good case to own a rattlesnake at this point.
Oh, yeah, a far more reasonable pet.
Pretty much.
I've had both; rattlesnakes are much less scary ! I'm not even sure a hospital stay wouldn't be cheaper than paying for college too
Paul White not to mention the original hospital visit for the birthing of said child
😆🤣😂
"It always throws me off when I see people looking for a baby monitor, because i was like 'you should probably get an ackie'."
-Clint, 2020
Names their kid ackie
Took me too long to get the joke but it gave me a nice chuckle now that I did.
My new reason to give when people ask me why I'm child-free now is going to be that their pet care is beyond my ownership abilities.
Upfront costs: very high
Long term costs: astronomically high
The 32 dislikes must be people who didn't go with captive-bred.
Hahaha!
I just died. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lololol
*Wild Caught are the tastiest*
I'm actually impressed you got them to sit still that long
ha, notice all the cuts in the video 😂
They were promised a happy meal after that and a all you can put in a shopping cart at toys r us
Same! how long was it before editing?
Snacks are the secret weapon. That, and probably more breaks than you realize!😅
Probably told them that they would get ice cream.
8:42 the way Pennrose smiles and nods after Clint says "stress and worry" is adorable - like "yep, and you better believe there's more where that came from, dad!" 😂
Children may not be the best pet for everyone, but the one I adopted is amazing. I can't imagine my life without her. She just got married (20yo) and I miss her terribly already. If you want a pet that will hopefully outlive you, consider either a human child, a parrot, or an Aldabra tortoise.
This is so funny hahah! Your pet children seem very well behaved, you must have them well trained!
Editing
I'm wonder if the pet children perhaps responded to clicker training? Or perhaps targeted treat rewards?
@@curiousfirely They do, actually. So well, in fact, that the clicker and target aren't needed after a while and they'll start responding to just body language.
They're very social and very intelligent, and can form pack-bonds with anything. Engaging in training exercises with those they identify as belonging to their "pack" is essential to keep them healthy, since they need mental stimulation and a sense of social belonging.
I was one of them at some point
The fact that this is in the danger danger danger playlist made me die
😂
How's afterlife?
"Young ones eat their own mothers" really killed me. This video was hysterical, A+ job on this one 🤣
The way you maintain your normal objectivity through this whole video had me dying laughing.
"Captive bred is the way to go"
😂😂 Wild caught could have potential legal reprocutions. Best not to try that.
Good thing to know. I was about to grab a net and travel to a Peloponnese island.
It's called suprise adoption
Are southern kids considered “farm raised”? 🧐
There unfortunately are still wild-caught human children. Some "rescues" turn a profit with them. They especially like to catch young females because there's high demand for them. They'll recycle stories about "rescuing" the children from impoverishment and neglect to pretend they're a legitimate rescue.
@@whifflingtit9240the worst is that there's several governments which have entire organisations dedicated to capturing wild bred ones under the guise of protection, often putting them into far more dangerous habitats.
This is the cutest thing I’ve seen!
“ the young ones eat their mothers... but there is powders available”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I loved that part 😂😂😂😂
The first time I saw this video was right before I was expecting my pet human. He is now almost 3 years old-and I think this is the most accurate video on the internet

It being a Mother’s Day video is also nice.
Clint's daughter's smile on her face as Clint describes her as ill behaved, expensive and fragile is great. She could be an actress. Maybe...
Once I heard they take a room in your house I’ll gladly take the monitor.
Far more reasonable.
No Name YT so real when you actually think about it haha, a whole room for cool lizard seems a lot until you compare it to the common pet human habitat😂I feel a lot more confident explaining why I have a room for my monitor lizard and not child now😂
Liam Kelly lol you also have the ability to sleep with a monitor
And they don’t stay exclusively in that room.
I loved this, and that score is spot on. My pet human child is more expensive and time consuming that literally any other pet I can imagine.
They make almost any other pet seem pretty reasonable 😂

Plus you get to return them and have your freedom back! I decided about 20 years ago not to have children and I have no regrets. I do have a beautiful God daughter and I also teach children at forest school. But I’m very happy without being a mother myself. It’s a very personal choice 😊

Ah crap i've been giving mine crested gecko diet for 2 years now good thing i watched this to make the switch!
Don't worry, crested gecko diet is actually incredibly healthy for humans, at least post weening. Definitely better than what most are force-fed by their owners. The meal-worms and and other insects are incredibly nutritious. The lack of processed sugar improves mood, and getting their carbohydrates from fruit, they also intake plenty of soluble fiber, great for digestion. Also, getting them used to eating live insects before silly things like cultural stigma affect them vastly improves their chance of surviving in the wild, especially after society collapses.
