Baby Throwing Up Mucus - Reasons & When to Worry?

There are many different reasons behind babies vomiting mucus. While it’s upsetting for parents (especially newbie parents) and babies, there is typically a simple cause. Many newborns will vomit mucus in the early hours and days following delivery. This primarily consists of excess amniotic fluid from the womb that has been combined with mucus from the baby’s stomach lining to absorb milk feeds.
