I sold my Planet Ocean (QC on that watch was absolute garbage) and bought the black dial version of this one instead, and it's really lovely. Zero QC issues, runs at +1,5s/d, awesome dial, handset, bezel inlay & case, short lug-to-lug, and I just have a massive soft spot for chunky dive watches with small dials. This watch basically feels the way an SPB-level Seiko should feel, if they actually improved the quality to match the prices they are charging instead of selling nicely designed trash.
Hey Rob, fell in love with this watch. There's a very interesting and impressive history behind it too. At any rate, like it so much, that after some research found it of all places at Macy's for $810 which is a great price, best i found and not too many places sell it. Can't wait to get it 👍
I agree! Very cool! That is a very good price point also. I owned the previous generation Certina DS Action Chrono Diver and regret selling it. I like that a lot Rob. Congrats on very good looking Certina.
This is nice. I love the colorway. I have the black dial ph500 and I wish it had a little color to the dial. I put it on an orange rubber strap and I'm loving it more!
The only thing I don’t like on both of these is the dials don’t have suck nice reflective edges like the markers do. Should’ve had a nice metal edge. Also I’d prefer this watch to have been 500m and a bit less thick on the underside. It feels a bit top heavy. Still own the limited but that’s just the things I observed after a few months
Have two kids, one we got through college and he works at Milwaukee tool, then our daughter is about to start college at Mich Tech to be an engineer as well as our son. I work two full time jobs and earn decent.
The “push and turn” feature is very cool.
Looks great Rob. Congrats. 🟠⌚
I got mine from Teddy too. The PH1000m is awesome. It have been in my wrist everyday since I got it.
IN your wrist? Does that hurt?
@@BR81-iv6lt I should have said on my wrist. English is not my first language, I am learning.

Have the black dial and absolutely love it..this watch is awesome
Awesome looking watch - Congratulations Rob 🥳
I got mine the day it released, awesome watch. It's such a great shade of orange.
Congrats on the new orange baby ❗️❗️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Baby?
@@BR81-iv6lt just an expression for the piece.
Very cool. I see a lot of Certina reviews from overseas.

Great choice. Really nice looking watch. Enjoy!!

My new favorite brand. Have the PH500. Awesome watches
Nice pickup. I really like the bezel font
Dig it. That Bezel lock especially.
Congrats I've had mine for a few months now.
I love this watch. If my wrist could support this one, it would be in my watch box. Good pickup
I have the Super PH 500 Orange dial. I love it. The 1000 is on my list.
Really cool watch.Only one that boders me is the orange minute hand on yellow sial. What is the movement?
I love Certina. I have the DS Super PH500M in orange. it's my only orange watch.
Hello Robert, what have you got there?
Oh yes, I see it now it’s lovely .
Wow, this is a killer watch !!! Is this still available ?
I’ve seen other unboxing vids, it shows an included NATO strap along with the rubber strap. This is aside from the extension.
Black outlines on the hands would add to legibility, but other than that, it's a great looking watch!
I love it. I better stay off your channel before I go broke. You'll have me filing for bankruptcy.
There is going to be a lot of orange dial watches up for grabs at the end of the year.
Very good looking watch
Love it! Thought about getting the black version! Only gripe about the yellow, is I wish "Limited Edition" text was on the back, not dial.
In real life Limited Edition text looks good - small, thin and discreet.
@@sladkru good to know!!
Limited edition on the dial rocks.the only place it should be printed.
Worth every penny
Rob that is cool!!!!
Man, i wish my wrist was big enough for this one!
this is a nice watch.
Looks very nice, I wish it was 45+mm and had 22mm lugs.

Hello from Austria 👋🏻🇦🇹
I thought you weren't supposed to handwind Swiss watches? Was always told their movement is too delicate?
That's bullshit if that was the case the movement wouldn't have Hand winding
Awesome diver.
Not too big at all. Fits your wrist great
" Limited Edition " on the Dial is Next Level. Decent acquisition Rob 👌
The paint on the buckle is falling in first day
v cool. kind of doxa-y
I bet you don't have kids rob.
