    Rick, I am writing you from the USA and I am all ready to make your shield today! I am very excited! I am learning to make THE HOLY BIBLE my priority. And material things are so very temporary. The SHIELD OF TRUST is a part of our armor that we read about in the Book of Ephesians. I love this tutorial very much because it is very well made. Your artistic ability is very good and helpful for me to teach my children and my family Biblical principles without spending a lot of money on a project. And creating a project that looks REALLY, REALLY good and that will last. So, I will show you what my finished project looks like. I've watched this video many times already. I wish you would have shown us how to apply the larger shield to the smaller that you made in this video (not trying to sound rude or anything). It looks beautiful! Thank you!

    Herbalism, preparedness, allotment, cooking and now this- my favorites! looks great! How does your family like it? With that green (masking tape) and gold one might think you routed for the packers. Not a football person myself (soccer or american football). Btw HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    • @SerpentLight213
      @SerpentLight213 Před 6 lety +1

      Shelley Anthony Honestly the first thing that comes to mind is "WTF is wrong is wrong with you!" simply because your comment seemed like it might be coming from somewhere hostile.
      On the other hand, if your referring to me asking about his family`s thoughts on it, then in all honesty that seemed like a very "understandable" thing to ask given that the video focuses on his family crest. I was simply asking a question because I was curious because I`ve been following Rick since 2012! I wasn`t attacking him or anything. A simple innocent question that he does not have to answer if he doesn`t want to! No big deal there.
      If you disliked my comment about the Packers, it was a just a joke. Just a little something humorous was all.
      I really don`t know why you felt the need to leave such a comment in the first place. This is 2018 people really need to stop being so touchy over every little thing like everyone is out for blood or something.
      Plus if you didn`t notice, Rick "loved" my comment so he must`ve realized I meant something humorous and no ill will nor that I was being nosey.

    How sturdy would a foam board shield be for LARPs? I'm wanting to make a small round shield/buckler kind of set up I can strap to my arm to have a free hand so I can use a dagger in the off hand or use a bow and have some protection already there if someone gets close.

    • @rickvanman
