Hey Lámidé, I also live in Dubai at the moment and I'm a fan of you! I watched your apartment hunting series endlessly last year when I was still in my home country, and you gave me a huge boost of optimism about moving here, which I did in July, and life in general with your positive energy and amazing tips. I've been looking at yearly rentals and they're obviously not the same anymore, I'm actually thinking about moving to Ajman (since I work online) even though it's not nearly as fun.

I’m guessing a 1 bed in business bay is somewhere between 80k - 120k AED. I think your eye for a good deal would take you towards the lower end so around £20k per year?
