  • The Poseidon can operate on ten-hour missions at ranges out to 1,200 nautical miles. More dwell time capacity, fortified by high-speeds, better enables the Poseidon to cover wide areas in search of hidden Chinese & Russia nuclear missile submarines.

A fun fact: the Indian P8 known as P8I is the only variant with MAD (magnetic anomaly detector) used for submarine detection using changes in magnetic fields.

Subs are very vulnerable when surfaced. They are not well-armored, and if their hull is damaged they may not be able to submerge. Their safety relies on not being detected. You're thinking of launching AA while submerged, but such weapons must first acquire their target before firing. Which cannot be done with the boat submerged.

If the MAD is it, you shouldn’t be surprised that Cold War era tech isn’t noteworthy. My grandpa hunted subs in the Cold War on the P3 which was of course equipped with a MAD. Radars are powerful enough to detect submerged subs now which is way more interesting than decades old tech.

We taken the impossible task to do good for everyone which in itself has it own issues. While many say we don't have freedom forget the dramatic change we have every 4 we might be divided right now but we sure as hell can get united when need be. The P8 is a prefect example, we taken our ideals of freedom and reformed it form the old ideas like the P3, and like freedom we spread it around the world each country modifying to their own needs. We may look weak as a passenger plane but when need be we can turn in a submarine hunter, destroyer of navies. China and Russia has track record of harming others, Russian has taken Ukrainian again, my ancestral homelands, China has attacked India in the Himalayas and attacked the Philippines, Japan, Twain, and even as far as Argentina and other South American nations Argentina even sunk some apart of China's reckless fishing navy. They done great harm to environment and human health to slave labor camps in their home country and a plague call Covid-19 that ravaged the world, it's time they held accountable

Your videos look interesting but you loose all credibility when you pronounce things in a way as to look like you never actually heard of anything you are talking about. For example, the aircraft has never in a million years been referred to as a seven hundred thirty seven model. Never, ever. It is called a seven thirty seven, or seven three seven. Anyone who has had the most superficial passing interest in aviation would never call it a seven hundred thirty seven. Never. It offends one's ears to hear it that way (and you do this in many of your videos). Nothing you say can have any credibility after that. Sorry. If you are going to take all the time you obviously have to make a professional video, then please take a minute and do some research to know what you are reporting about.
