Totally agree with you about the cultural shock between west and asian countries, I prefer the control chaos over there, somehow everything flows naturally. And people ... we need to learn a lot from them. Love the fact you are spreading the gratefulness daily, should be mandatory, lol. What is the story behind the white t shirts? BTW, your house is gorgeous! Keep the vibe. Thanks for the video.

lol no story, wardrobe full of clothes, just always seem to be wearing the same, must be some kind of magnetic pull to white (I guess in a way more comfortable in this heat than a darker shirt?) Have an awesome week!!

Well said, One thing still amazed me till these days is when people move to another country(not just Cambodia) and expect the country to adapt/change their way for them and not the other way around. I'm glad you are not one of them. Looking forward to the next video and lovely house btw.

Wow! Love your home. Have to give it to you. I love tropical climate, but I still want to live in a place that has all four seasons. Can't have christmas without snow or cold weather. I would love to go visit London in winter time. Winter and fall is two of my favorite seasons if you haven't noticed. Any who, I will like to go visit my homeland, cambodia, one day. It is on my bucket list to visit. Thank you so much for sharing❤.

I love it here too!! Christmas is a little strange, even after so long living in this part of the world!! London with the lights is magical at Christmas...

Your house is amazing! Nice one. I have been to Siem Reap and really enjoyed it there. One thing I wonder about for expats in Cambodia (especially outside of PP) is the healthcare. Is there an adequate international hospital there, in case the worst happens? Also, how expensive is it for top level insurance coverage?
Oh and your comment on the internet concerned me a bit. Is it common in SR for people to experience internet blackouts like that? and cold you possibly pay more for a better plan/connection?
Thanks for the videos. Just going to subscribe now :)

Touch wood, I've not had to use my healthcare policy - there are plenty of good hospitals in Siem Reap (from what I've been told that is, without personal experience of using them). Re insurance policies, I think that the price varies considerably depending on age, type of cover etc. I think I pay about $700 a year...
Internet was much much better in my last place (a condo building), I guess that moving slightly outside of the city and being just one house in a small development we're not going to get the service from the ISP I would in town where there is a dedicated line serving lots of residential units. I get about 30mbps (normally) download speed, but as before it does suffer blackouts.
You can certainly install a dedicated hight speed line, I did this in Phnom Penh, you pay upfront and the connection is more stable.
