I’ve stumbled upon videos for this series; I’m going to stream it; it’s available in the US...I can already tell that the kid with the blue eyes that practically pop out of his head is going to break my heart: Bring it on!

Friedhelm was killed by the inhumanity cruelty of war and the Nazi-regime. Not by a bullet. The moment that realy kills me, is the situation after the raid, when he is alone with the SS sadist. He could easily have shot him, and nobody would blame him, because „the polish patriots has killed him“ like the other man in the jeep. You can see, that he is thinking about it for a moment (his face is in a closeup at this moment). But he didn‘t seized the oportunity. This is for me the most tragic moment in Friedhelm devolpement. He is just a goodhearted pacifist. An that is his end. Every time I see this I say „come on Friedhelm, DO IT , kill him, set yourself free, do something against it, PLEASE, dont be just a victim!
Na anscheinend doch nicht. Falls du den Film wirklich gesehen haben solltest und dich wenigstens etwas für diese Generation interessieren würdest, wüsstest du, dass diese Zeit alles andere als albern war.
Tanel Murd Friedhelm never wanted to work for he Heimer he hated the jerk but he didn't have a choice I feel like Friedhelm was waiting for an opportunity to off Heimer for good and when the jerk told him to shoot his best friend Viktor he took that opportunity to shoot the jerk and I don't blame him for doing so
