    My wife and I got the Bee Cool Adventurer and Explorer. Love them both.Very accurate description!! . We started a channel with our adventures. I’m a hunter as well and am already thinking of the possibilities. Having a nice cart I feel it could pull a deer on flat terrain with little trouble due to the 750 watt motor.
    I haven’t done the flat out tire additive but plan to. I added of all things a rear view camera instead of mirrors which to us is easy as using mirrors and only $50 just had to add a small bar in front of the handlebars to accommodate it.

    • @drawnoutdoorstv
      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s awesome! I’ll make sure to check out the channel. Yeah I’m already planning on using some sort of trailer to pull a deer. The area I hunt is mostly flat so it would pull a deer no problem.
      The flat out was totally worth it. It works extremely well. I’m curious about the camera. I like the idea of that.

    Thanks for the review, I just subscribed, I have a Bakcou scooter & now am looking for a reasonable priced full suspension ebike, as the scooter isn't horrible on smaller hills, but no peddle assist, I wind out walking it up, which isn't that bad because it holds my gear & has a walk assist mode. I was wondering how much the peddle assist helps on hills with this bike. I made two videos on the scooter if you're interested. I'm having a hard time spending $6k on a mid drive hunting ebike, feel like this Bee Cool might be a better option. I have some hills on only one of my hunting areas. So far, I'm very happy with the scooter but haven't hunted with it yet, I feel it will be a game changer. Good luck this season!

    • @drawnoutdoorstv
      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před 2 lety +2

      I will definitely check them out! I considered going with a scooter over a bike. The pedal assist works really well. Steep hills are no problem at all with the pedal assist. The ebike also has a walk assist mode and does have a rear rack. I’ve also seen people put a front rack on and attach trailers to the back of them. Bike has plenty of power for any situations I would come across

    Wow, Great bike for the price! "HUNTING" caught my eye... Also, I thought about making a short aluminun extension ladder into a trailer with some allthread through a bottom rung and adding 2 wheelbarrow tires. tree-stand and other gear could be strapped on for the trek to your spot. Use the ladder for tree-stand access, Then trailer the deer back out! Low gear in pedal assist w/all that power will be easy!

I have been looking at e-bikes for probably over a year now and I wanted to get a quiet cat AWD but I think I can just Mount a front hub motor down the road sometime and it would be just fine. And I didn't have to have camo The green is just fine. Awd would be good for super steep hills but I'm not even sure how it would still get around anyway so this is absolutely perfect from a good price point.

      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před 2 lety +2

      I did look at the pathfinder. I couldn’t find much difference between the pathfinder and the adventurer. The pathfinder has a better digital screen I believe. Otherwise the specs were pretty much exactly the same. The adventurer was $300 cheaper than the pathfinder so that ultimately made me choose the adventurer.
      The Aventon Adventure looks nice too. Two things it’s missing in my opinion. No rear suspension. Gonna be a stiffer ride off road, and I like the ability to remove the battery which it looks like you cannot do that on the aventon. Hope this helps!

    Is there room for kolpin mounts on the handle bars? Just wondering if theres enough space to mount something like that to put your bow, gun, or muzzy on it. Also if that weight on the bars might effect steering too much??

      Yes there is! I have the rhino grip xlr mounts and used it all last season with my bow in it no problem. Really didn’t effect my steering or anything. Just gotta watch out for branches and stuff sticking out so it does catch your bow. I did however upgrade to a wider handle bar this year just so I had a little extra room on my handle bars. I am on the fence about buying one. 2 concerns are a steep climb on a logging road and brakes for coming back down with a cart when hauling a deer back down. Round trip to and from stands is about 3 miles.

    • @drawnoutdoorstv
      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před 11 měsíci

      Hmm that’s a tough call. If you have lots of steep climbs and have to go back down big hills then I probably wouldn’t reccomend this bike. Battery life would not be an issue, but I think you would be better off with a mid drive motor bike. They have a lot better torque for those steep hills. Also one of my complaints about this bike is the breaks. A lot of people upgrade them to bigger rotors. This bike works well for me cuz I’m pretty much all flat ground where I use it.

      Things I need to do for maintenance this year: I need to bleed the breaks as they are causing the bike to throw an error code which disengages the motor when I hit the breaks. Bike still works well just a minor annoyance but does not effect me using it.
      Have had multiple flat tires due to my area having lots of spikes and thorns that I run over without knowing because I don’t really ride on trails. I mostly ride on field edges and cut ag fields. Flat out or slime always fixes the issue but I will most likely replace the tubes with anti puncture tubes this year. Yes! Just over 150 miles on it. I need to do a break bleed at some point soon but everything is still running great. I will say my buddy just got a Young electric ebike from tractor supply recently for about the same price and it’s a really nice bike too. A lot of the same parts and features as the Beecool

    Do you feel you can haul a deer out with it?

    • @drawnoutdoorstv
      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před 8 měsíci

      Yeah I’ve seen others do it with this same bike. I plan on trying it this year just to test it out. Terrain will be the biggest factor. Where I hunt it’s mostly flat so should have no issues. Big hills could be tough

      I have not hauled any deer out with it yet. However I’m the group page I follow I have seen multiple people use it to haul deer out with. I’m sure it would all depend on the terrain

      It is terrifying that most the stuff we buy is from China. I always try and find stuff that’s made in USA but it is hard sometimes.

    Rambo is out of date , only 16 miles on charge. Rambo is pushed with advertising, and not really great for us hunters . I bought a velotric discovery 1 999.00 and put rack and goes 35/60 miles😊

    • @drawnoutdoorstv
      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před rokem

      Yeah I think some Rambo bikes are gonna be better for certain applications because they have that mid drive motor but for 90% of hunters I think there are a lot better bikes for the money out there.

    After watching this a found a guy post a horrible review on beecool bikes. Had anyone seen it? What are your views?

    • @drawnoutdoorstv
      @drawnoutdoorstv  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah I’ve seen some horror stories on their bikes. I’ve also seen lots of good stories too. My bike is still doing well going into year 3. Their customer service was pretty bad a couple years ago but lately it seems like they are doing a pretty good job at helping people with issues. There are so many brands of ebikes out there now it’s hard to decide which one to go with.

      Yeah hard to say. Their customer service has gotten a lot better over the last year. Their are tons of parts for ebikes available and a great Beecool owners page on Facebook that help people fix stuff. I’m fortunate I have not had any issues with mine.

      Yeah I ride it to work sometimes too. Saves me a lot of time when I’m hunting and I’m able to haul more stuff around when hanging stands and moving trail cameras. A lot of benefits to it.
