Came back to this after 2 years now back when I worked in collision repair, for 10 years wet sanding cars by hand in 40°F weather, I finally left my job to do my dream and become a hydroelectric plant electrician and with hardwork become a supervisor in the next 10 years. When I first ran across this video I was in a shelter with my three children, I was so depressed and felt like giving up…. I would binge watch this video, like les brown lived in my head rent free for months and not even six months later I moved into my own apartment, I moved on and haven’t looked back since … my message to anyone who’s reading my testimony is don’t stop… believe in yourself and the minute you get to your goals don’t forget to celebrate … be grateful and keep on pushing to the next version of yourself. Life is one obstacle after the next, in the end celebrate the little stuff and always have faith. Things get better and I love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤

You really changed my life, God Bless. I grew up as a sharperd in the Rural of Africa Lesotho. I never had a chance to go to school because i had to take car of my 2lil brothers n 3 sisters. One of my sister that i took to school taught me how to count, read and write. Without my sidter i couldn't have a chance to hear Les Brown. I moveD to urban area to seek a better job.. I worked at car wash as my first job..after listening to Les Brown i started a small tuck shop, um now on the next step owning a supermarket...

This audio saved my life. When i was at my lowest 2 years ago i was 415 lbs addicted and in the slums. This brought light into the darkness. Les brown o am the one. I was praying, I hit a wall in my life. Then in college they showed me Les Browns video. I took notes, this is what I needed. I was alway in the top to the top ten salesperson everywhere I went for the past 20 years. I am still succeeding, keep pushing forward folks

No doubt! This man personally inspired me when I was working security for him in D.C. I was watching him from backstage thinking "Wow...if he did it with all he's overcome, I can do it." My life was never the same from that day forward.

My dad had me watch Les Brown as a boy. The quote I remember most that he said was, "It's better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have an opportunity and not be prepared." I have referred back to that so many times and share it with people often. Les was a big influence on me growing up.

Les brown and Jim rohn have changed my life. I went from the streets and having nothing to working on my self for years and years after 10 years of not figuring out what I would do with my life I took Les's advice to be prepared without the opportunity than to have the opportunity and not be prepared. I landed a job in sales and because of the work I've done 10 years prior learning and reading I quickly became a top salesman in my company and now I'm in upper management with a very bright future ahead of. I made it to management in 3 years and I still have alot of dreams and goals ahead of me!
Les Brown is one of the best speaker💯 Hands down! He knows how to grab the audience’s attention with his jokes and right after the laughs, it’s pure facts. I love his videos.

I’ve been hungry my entire life... at 8 years old, I woke up and my young eyes realized that my family was poor. We lived in the heart of the ghetto, East Baltimore to be more specific. It was then I realized I wanted more out of life, I wanted something different. At that early age I knew I had to push beyond what was expected of me. My parents did the best they could and gave the shirts off of their backs... the food out of their mouths in order to push and instill the hunger, the thirst and drive to be greater in a world that was set up by design for people of color, minorities and less fortunate to never move past the spaces and places they designated us to be. Even when I fell off the path that had been instilled within me, the words of my parents rang inside my head , and I willed my self to get up, and keep going. There is no other option in my life but to keep going to get to the next level... failure is NOT an option .

I’m from baltimore and until the age of 12 I grew up in West Baltimore’s Lexington terrace Projects with my 4 bro 1 Sis and mom and dad. LTP was so bad they razed them in the 80’s. Today I’m an Asst Bishop over 11 churches, a retired Army Officer for legal analysis for the federal government owner of two businesses, writing a book to help students succeed and married with kids and grand kids who love me to life. Life has a lot to offer you...focus and take it.

As a child I was painfully shy. It's was embarrassing. My father is my twin and motivational speaker. When I feel weak or doubt myself he reminds me, I can feel every emotion in the world as long as courage is the most powerful. When he not around some times I forget, or feel hopeless and I don't wanna vent my problems to my parents I listen to this man. I thank him for giving me the courage to move to a different state for a fresh start. I wasn't granted the right to start over. But I'm grateful I tried to do what's right for me to be happy/survive. 🙏🏽
