Please compare the empyrean with hd 600
I have sold my Meze Elite and for me 600 is much better
Will I be disappointed buying HD 600 if I listen primarily to EDMs?
yes its not made for edm or techno
totally, don't do it. if you want a sennheiser for electronic music go to 650(if you will work with mix and mastering) or 490 PRO or jubile 58x if just for enjoy
@@1forestweed I don’t have a plan for mix and mastering. Will be using it for music and gaming (since lot of people said that open backs are great for it). I got a lot of music genres in my liking but EDMs (slow indie + synthwave included) are taking 80% of my music listening sessions
@@nativeX8977 so 490 pro and jubilee 58x will give you more fun and no problems to enjoy electronic music feeling the deep bass sounds and the wide stage of modern synthsizers, also for gaming will work much better.
In otherwise hd600 have a very limitted sound image like 2d soundstage. You will not have super details that are necessary for games and electronic music and games will also have many distortion when have much low end effect. HD 600 is for pop, jazz, classical music, vocal capella, and is recommended because of the neutrality.
Anyway for gaming, movies and electronic music dt900 pro X and ATH-70x are both excellent choices as also Sundara Hifiman. that's my advice, so you have 5 top headphones to doing your research and be happy 💫😁
@@1forestweed Thanks for the in depth response! I need it to be sound immersive and wide for single-player games, and great pinpoint accuracy for multiplayer games. I actually growing up with V shape EQ but as the time goes by I started understanding and appreciate more of mids, and currently clarity and open-back form factor had me intrigued but I still don’t wanna lose too much bass that maybe will make me regret and feel like it’s not for me. Anyway, how about 6XX/650 if I’m not doing any mix and mastering? Would that be such a waste of money?

Thank you for your work! On the 1st track, natural instruments play. Winner 600. On the 2nd there is a completely synthetic sound, you can define it however you like.. I must say that the difference in presentation is quite large . IMHO
Listening on Subtonic Storm. HD600 or R70x for me.
DT900 Pro X is truly terrible.
HD600 has a raised upper mids and then the worst treble out of the four (the famous HD600 veil). You can hear the HD600's tambourine in the 1st track, it's a total mess. I think the HD 600 was good 20 years ago but it's totally out-dated now.
HD490 Pro's treble performance is the best. And if you want a warmer tone, you can put the producer pads on, and it will sound more like the HD600.
Try telling that to someone who proclaims the HD 600 is the best headphone ever and always will be. Pretty much everything Sennheiser has done has been dismissed by a ton of people in favor of the 600 or 650 even when Sennheiser has been objectively improving their sound.

Слушал в своих 900 pro x и к сожалению они играют хуже остальных моделей. Чуда не случилось, все что дороже играет лучше, это факт.
Если ты слушал 900 pro X в 900 Pro X то их же искажения и.неровность умножаются на 2, а другие наоборот балансируют .
Послушай в чем то другом.
Если для работы, бери, брат 650тые сенхи, 2017 года или позже.
Они самые быстрые.
Баланс там нужный , ключевое слово "нужный"
@@oleksandrpotylko8054 мне нужны наушники исключительно для прослушивания музыки. Для hd 650 нужен приличный усилитель, а у меня дешманский topping dx3 pro + . На самом деле, даже в дешевых затычках, которые я использую для просмотра видео с телефона, слышно разницу между моделями, на вокале особенно четко слышно, как r70x чище нежели 900 pro x. Данные баеры слили всем, даже близким по цене 600 ым :(
