A little introduction for those who don’t know Giuk - formerly known as CyA! ^^ He’s the rapper, bassist, maknae and one of the songwriters of band Onewe, since their beginning as MAS 0094 in 2015. He got his first songwriting credit then, when he was 15 years old: he heard of “comfort women” victims and wrote the lyrics of their MAS 0094 debut song “Butterfly, finding flower” for them. They donated their proceeds to charity, and the whole group volunteered at a nursing home. This song is the title track of his second solo album after his debut last april! He’s heavily involved in the album production: all songs have been written, composed and arranged by him, with the participation of featuring friends and their overseeing company producer in some of them. Some additional facts about him: - Multitalented: he can also play piano, acoustic guitar, recorder/danso, some drums - Prolific composer who’s written, composed and arranged many of Onewe’s songs, and even participated in writing/producing songs for other artists like Purple Kiss, Oneus or The Boyz’ Sunwoo - He currently has 92 KOMCA credits, making him one of the most copyrighted 4th gen idols! - He’s a soundcloud rapper (username Giuk2) with 41 currently available tracks (some were taken down as he officially released them), several collabs and more now-deleted tracks - He’s also learned some graphical design to create his own album covers, as well as technical skills like recording, mixing and mastering - He owns and plays both 5-string and 4-string basses! - He’s left-handed, but plays with his right hand - He’s in a crew with his friends called NAMED LATE including Luminous’ Woobin, The Boyz’s Sunwoo and soloists RARE and Gray dot - HANLIM graduate, top of his class of the bass major! - Has six (known) tattoos - He likes painting his own nails - Loves leopard print, because it reminds him of his mother :) Please show him much love and support both in his solo career and as a Onewe member! ^^

GIUK reminds me of WOODZ. A very talented artist, passionate, and writes beautiful songs that personifies him. 🥰 There are people I saw saying they don't like 4th gen. They don't like the lip-syncs, etc. But they just haven't discovered gems like GIUK and WOODZ. I don't think they will say the same thing after knowing artists like them exist.

whoa novvkim srsly topped themselves, it’s their best mv they ever made for onewe (this time for giuk obviously). the song along with mv are such a tear squeezer, the rhymes in verses were my favs 🥹💙 his skills in writing lyrics gotten even better (although it was never bad to begin with), he gotten more confident in singing too 🫶
I love this whole album so much. The lyrics poetically describe deep specific feelings and the melodies are sweet, soft, and intricate. What drew me into Onewe before.
