I’ve watched a review on almost every single to double stroller and am exhausted! I will add Venice Child to my list of potential strollers. So far it’s checking off every thing on my list that I want in a stroller.

The Venice Child Maverick is NOT a cheaper double stroller option at all. The Venice Child is $399 for the stroller and $179 for the second seat. That’s $578. The mockingbird is $395 for the stroller and $120 for the second seat kit which brings it to $515. Even if you needed the infant car seat adapter for $30, that brings it to $545.
And what about the raincovers ?,the carseat adapters?, the cupholder? Did you add that to the mockingbird cost? Because all thats included with the Venice Child Maverick...the mockingbird you need to buy those things separately and with Venice Child its included.
Thanks Gina! Mockingbird seems like a pretty undesirable double setup. What 2.5 year old wants to face in like that on the bottom? Mine wouldn't have. Saves me the hassle of ordering, testing, and returning!
This was so helpful! Definitely changed my mind! Was going to buy the mockingbird but these details were not looking good. The only thing I do like about the mockingbird are the accessories (snack tray, parent organizer) would these accessories fit the maverick?

And does the maverick have a spot for a glider board in the back? Or are there universal options for those? What material are the tires made from? How long has the stroller been around? That question mainly because I have never heard of this stroller before, but it seems like a great option! I’m surprised it’s not more popular. For the Venice Child Maverick I have a few questions. As a double, can it fold with both seats attached? can it stand upright when folded? Are the seats machine washable and lastly is this stroller on the heavy side? Thank you!
Yes ,we do fold with both seats its a bulky fold like all strollers this way that fold with both seats....We bought seat protectors that insert via straps easier to wash ,dont think seat fabric comes off ,it says spot clean...not sure what the point of the onehand fold in stroller are about since you still need to lift the stroller with both hands to put in your car...i find the maverick easy to fold and lift at same time with how theirs fold.

Yup, you're exactly right! We updated the adapters in our 2nd Seat Kit in June 2021 so that we can now allow for this option -- infant up top parent-facing, with a toddler on the bottom facing out.

Hi Kelsey ... Venice Child is much lighter, narrow and more agile. It also offers great Made in Italy quality along with some nicer colors & textiles. Additionally, the seats on the Z4 fold in half making it a much more compact stroller to deal with. Z4 is also compatible with the Agio / Peg Perego car seats along with the Cybex/Nuna/MaxiCosi.
Your review says the maverick toddler seat can hold 50 pounds, the Venice child website says each seat can hold 44 pounds, and the user manual says 33 pounds... so which is it? Where did you get the 50 pounds from?
The most recent guidance from Venice child is the seats are rated to 50lbs each. They were tested to higher capacity limits but their official limit is 50lbs per seat
You said the Venice child Maverick was $399 but it’s $499. It still makes it cheaper than mockingbird but I just wish the Mockingbird had better control with two children and if it had the telescoping handle like you mentioned. For me being 5 foot tall I feel like the positioning that the mockingbird offers for the handlebar is really good because I find when you can’t rotate a certain way it gets really sore for wrists. Also the Mockingbird has things like the snack tray for toddlers. If the maverick had a positioning handlebar like the mockingbird I would definitely go with it. Ugh I’m torn.
@@relrel101 I mean I would still go with Venice because I want my stroller to last and work good with 2 kids. If they add a pivoting handle, I’ll probably go with Venice!

Ps lifetime warranty is only as good as long as the company last,its a marketing strategy...how can you determine mockingbird is going to be around for a lifetime? Another gimmick about lifetime warranty, it ends when the company ends!!
@relrel101 on their website they have a package and it makes a huge difference. I was thinking of getting the MB but I think I’m going with VC now🤷🏾♀️. Almost everything is included with VC, but you have to buy almost everything with MB.
No which is a bummer! They work with Nuna, Cybex, Maxi Cosi, and Clek car seats. Mockingbird has those adapters and then maybe one for chicco as well? I would have to double check on them.
Why are many mockingbird strollers available to buy at GOOD BUY GEAR? THEY ARE ALMOST BRAND NEW AFTER A FEW MOTHS OF USE ,WHY?The Stroller has only been around for less than 2 years and growing families get rid of it after a few months of use? Doesn't seem like it can hold up.

They fact that they mislead customers into thinking they are buying a double stroller and only when you buy it you realize you need the second seat kit with the adapters to use it as a double because you cannot use the carseat unless you put in in the bottom but you still need the conversion adapters ...and MB heavily marketing as a DTC but somehow needed to be in target now because they are bringing all the discounts to the consumer right? So if prices have not changed how is mockingbird passing on savings to the customer by selling at the same price to target hmmmm ..means the mark up is so high and profitable they can afford to sell to target and still profit!!! Which means they are lyingto the consumer......just like the gimmick lifetime warranty, how can any company guarantee a lifetime especially since they are barely 3 years around!! And their strollers are only around less than 3 years,there is no data or history to compare...Lifetime warranty is as good as long as a company can be around!!! If they really wanted to pass the savings to the consumer they would use the same quality fabrics as uppababy ,cybex or silver cross not the cheapest fabrics and really horrible cheap wheels and cheapest grade of aluminum.... Why is that VC uses the same fabric as the highest end brands out here or the highest quality wheels and a sturdy frame and high quality aluminum with great anti shock absorbent wheels.Just look at the shaky MB frame with all those screws and rivets. Why is it that VC is selling via stores at the same price as mockingbird is selling Directly to consumers,which means mockingbird is not passing any savings to the consumer and mb profits are insane to do this... so maybe it could be that VC actually passes the actual consumer a real savings by boycotting their profits as they have to ws and retail 🤔 just my 2 cents for the person who keeps attacking me ...sounds more like a MB employee vs a consumer...seeing that MB themselves are on here trying to do the same. I hope MB can one day make a quality product that grows with a family and actually pass some savings on to people and not deceive them into thinking they are...If this was tne case then you would be paying 250 for the MB stroller same as the Chinese brands from factories who sell directly to consumers on Amazon,those are real DTC prices.As for now i will stick with the product i believe in and not try to force people to write reviews or convince people one is better than the other. i hope both brands can be successful,but for now i will stick with the brand that doesn't try to market me into thinking they are better and actually make one hell of a quality product,with the best materials.

Obviously, this review doesnt factor in theres a very small 2ndary market for Venice Child compared to the Mockingbird so I can get the Stroller and accessories for substantially cheaper for Mockingbird over the Venice Child. But it's good to see that there are other comparable strollers on the market in the same price range.

idk if you have bought one already but venice child now has a stroller called ventura and that one comes with a built in ride on board

Your review says the maverick toddler seat can hold 50 pounds, the Venice child website says each seat can hold 44 pounds, and the user manual says 33 pounds... so which is it? Where did you get the 50 pounds from?
The most recent guidance from Venice child is the seats are rated to 50lbs each. They were tested to higher capacity limits but their official limit is 50lbs per seat

You said the Venice child Maverick was $399 but it’s $499. It still makes it cheaper than mockingbird but I just wish the Mockingbird had better control with two children and if it had the telescoping handle like you mentioned. For me being 5 foot tall I feel like the positioning that the mockingbird offers for the handlebar is really good because I find when you can’t rotate a certain way it gets really sore for wrists. Also the Mockingbird has things like the snack tray for toddlers. If the maverick had a positioning handlebar like the mockingbird I would definitely go with it. Ugh I’m torn.

This video should help you understand why the mockingbird stroller frame and handle position is not durable, telescoping handles are much better to hold the weight of two kids or 3 to steer the frame without breaking or bending it out of alignment.
Ps lifetime warranty is only as good as long as the company last,its a marketing strategy...how can you determine mockingbird is going to be around for a lifetime? Another gimmick about lifetime warranty, it ends when the company ends!!
@relrel101 on their website they have a package and it makes a huge difference. I was thinking of getting the MB but I think I’m going with VC now🤷🏾♀️. Almost everything is included with VC, but you have to buy almost everything with MB.

No which is a bummer! They work with Nuna, Cybex, Maxi Cosi, and Clek car seats. Mockingbird has those adapters and then maybe one for chicco as well? I would have to double check on them.

Why are many mockingbird strollers available to buy at GOOD BUY GEAR? THEY ARE ALMOST BRAND NEW AFTER A FEW MOTHS OF USE ,WHY?The Stroller has only been around for less than 2 years and growing families get rid of it after a few months of use? Doesn't seem like it can hold up.
What makes you think people are not buying the brand,why assume something like this?, i know when people are happy they tend not to complain and if not pushed by brands for reviews they are just happy and don't have anything to complain about.Happy consumers just go about their life or sometimes people write or talk about a product they really love and want others to know about it... like i did after buying my stroller, i commented on here bc my sister bought the mockingbird and i wanted to see how it compares with a professional opinion....but what you are doing is attacking everyone here who says they love the VC stroller and trying to convince them the mockingbird is better...
Maybe it could be that the brand does not push people to write or review their strollers, they have been around for 10 years and still going, that says something.Yes i hope families can really determine for themselves and buy a quality product that grows with their family and last.
Not sure which new successful brand are just dumped at second hand stores,am happy you have a product that your happy with,but why are you trying so hard to convince people a new brand with a new stroller that's not even around long enough to see the outcome or issues that happens from years of wear n tear on its stroller, you don't have the data to back it up.VC has made 3 strollers so far,sold in EU countries successfully but here you are trying to tell people you know about this brand and trying your best to make people feel they are not successful.Go to their Instagram you can see this yourself.
What is your motivation to do this? I love my stroller and see MB themselves here trying to convince people they are supposedly better, could it be they have something to worry about.
They fact that they mislead customers into thinking they are buying a double stroller and only when you buy it you realize you need the second seat kit with the adapters to use it as a double because you cannot use the carseat unless you put in in the bottom but you still need the conversion adapters ...and MB heavily marketing as a DTC but somehow needed to be in target now because they are bringing all the discounts to the consumer right? So if prices have not changed how is mockingbird passing on savings to the customer by selling at the same price to target hmmmm ..means the mark up is so high and profitable they can afford to sell to target and still profit!!! Which means they are lyingto the consumer......just like the gimmick lifetime warranty, how can any company guarantee a lifetime especially since they are barely 3 years around!! And their strollers are only around less than 3 years,there is no data or history to compare...Lifetime warranty is as good as long as a company can be around!!!
If they really wanted to pass the savings to the consumer they would use the same quality fabrics as uppababy ,cybex or silver cross not the cheapest fabrics and really horrible cheap wheels and cheapest grade of aluminum....
Why is that VC uses the same fabric as the highest end brands out here or the highest quality wheels and a sturdy frame and high quality aluminum with great anti shock absorbent wheels.Just look at the shaky MB frame with all those screws and rivets.
Why is it that VC is selling via stores at the same price as mockingbird is selling Directly to consumers,which means mockingbird is not passing any savings to the consumer and mb profits are insane to do this... so maybe it could be that VC actually passes the actual consumer a real savings by boycotting their profits as they have to ws and retail 🤔 just my 2 cents for the person who keeps attacking me ...sounds more like a MB employee vs a consumer...seeing that MB themselves are on here trying to do the same.
I hope MB can one day make a quality product that grows with a family and actually pass some savings on to people and not deceive them into thinking they are...If this was tne case then you would be paying 250 for the MB stroller same as the Chinese brands from factories who sell directly to consumers on Amazon,those are real DTC prices.As for now i will stick with the product i believe in and not try to force people to write reviews or convince people one is better than the other.
i hope both brands can be successful,but for now i will stick with the brand that doesn't try to market me into thinking they are better and actually make one hell of a quality product,with the best materials.

Obviously, this review doesnt factor in theres a very small 2ndary market for Venice Child compared to the Mockingbird so I can get the Stroller and accessories for substantially cheaper for Mockingbird over the Venice Child. But it's good to see that there are other comparable strollers on the market in the same price range.
