- Sheepy: A Short Adventure is probably one of the best free games out there, a short 2d puzzle game similar to Inside and Limbo, but it's 100% free!

9.7 on a bridge that has NO RAILS.
Matt, you're turning into an architect, God help us.
That's the deduction isn't it? With rails it'd have been perfect.
Zero maintenance cost is huge though. Constant level of safety from now till the end of time
And with the self destruction it ensures the traffic doesn't back up
Considering it's in a 2d world, what are rails going to do?
@@rg0305 On the contrary. It ensures the traffic does back up as everyone will form a line and take the bridge one at a time.
You can tell he is an actual real civil engineer when he uses profesional terms such as "stompy things".
E
Professional terms can often sound silly.
For example, the bit of text on the back of a paperback book that's supposed to hook you into reading it? The technical term is "blurb", per my wife who professionally read and reviewed independent novels.
You use technical terms when you're trying to sound smart or there is a clear distinction to be made. Otherwise funny terms are preferred. (From a Sys Eng)
@@michaelsorensen7567 Why is blurb a silly word?
@@abook8400 Sounds like someone trying to say "bird" but they have a lisp
At the end of each year, we need a compilation of all the years Bridge Reviews from lowest score to highest score.
I'd like to see him rating them all again to see how random his judgement is.
@@thoges5040 Like his editor gives him a list of bridge images and he has to review them not knowing what he originally gave. He should do it.
This game was made by MrSuicideSheep! Who, I think, is mostly known for their music, found on CZcams!
They actually don't produce music. It's mostly just single tracks or compilations.
I think the latest videos are mixes of other people's music.
Its a music curator channel
and Rob Thomas
Yes, what a surprise !
Yooo, I thought the names were just a coincidence that crazy
We demand full playthrough! Skipping all these side-quests was so un-engineering!
practically skipping all the npc dialogue really hurt as well. honestly not his best vid, though the game looks cool.
@@iceneko9170 If people show everything there is in a game then people won't be curious enough to get the game and look for stuff on their own.
@@iceneko9170he always skips all dialog in his play throughs unfortunately and just gives an overview, some dialog I understand but its frustrating when it's all.
I mean the game is free if you want to see all the content play it yourself
Really shouldn't be free imo @jolhol7830
I'm guessing it's a teaser ... enough to build interest and gauge people's reaction before building the whole thing out
Agreed.
It looks like it had multiple endings.
12:35 The best advertising for the game!
If you sell hard hats, I'd purchase for myself and all my site staff. As long as they ascribe to safety specifications.

RCE x 3M collab? New most valuable piece of PPE
A wizard Bridge that self repairs gets a 9.6/10 I can't imagine what gets a 10/10 😂
It didn't have any rails though
It has to be built by Matt to get a 10
it got 9.7
Wait, that was from MrSuicideSheep? Holy cow (sheep?), that's a name I haven't heard in a hot minute, I used to listen to his music all the time!
What an incredible little game! Why the heck is it free?! It must've taken a crazy amount of work and love to produce! Hope there's more on the way like the ending seemed to hint!
Curious whether the section(s) that Matt left without finishing had more story and hidden bits, or whether they were just for the achievements. Might have to pick it up for myself to see, if my work schedule allows for it!
I think zone 3 had an entire ability he missed lol
funfact if you go to his channel you can see art from the game on it,
Mrsuicidesheep was renamed to lo-fi girl I think
@@sanderg9106 Nah, they're still around as @MrSuicideSheep.
no way, is it the infamous roads to sphere?
I love how game controllers were *engineered* to have X in 3 different places
Engineered to not get sued by other companies

@@IRMentathave third parties ever been sued tho?
The Dev, Mr. suicide sheep got really famous on the CZcams sphere for posting Lofi electronic music back in 2010 to 2012 era. It’s weird to see him making games now. Very interesting.
Noticed that, too! Ah, the internet... such a small world 😂
13:00 There's a mini sheep plush on the desk!
This is how the world felt about Dwarf Fortress for years.
And the second it was on steam, within a week the team of just 2 brothers suddenly had $3million to their names.
The ending there reminds me of Final Winter. Super obscure game, despite it being on Steam.
that can still be a true thing
@@nicknevco215 Unfortunately, yes
I'm betting that question mark is for the true ending. Collecting all the stuff, throwing all the levers, etc.
Oh wow, that chair bit from the game at 12:35 was genuinely creative and cute.
Well THIS is probably going to have some Very Deepest Lore somewhere...
The bridge in the background I think is an aqueduct. Which is basically a bridge for water. =P
12:37 this chair thing made me laugh so hard!
seeing this channel grow has been so great! matt will always be one of my favourites! Also he has like a ASMR voice that I've accidently fallen asleep to repeatedly LoL
When you becoming president again?
You are talking like this is a small channel. Dude has 2 millions subs
I know, I've been subbed since 10k subs, that's why I talked about watching him grow@@KryptCeeper969
@@KryptCeeper969architects are an entirely different species, I'm not sure if they come as dudes or dudets 🤔
You said it grew, I took a peek to at his subs, holy moly, I watched him from 100k subs, now its 2m+😮😮😮.... HOW??? WHEN???
Man that was such a good game.
I hope it becomes either a coop, or a fighting platformer were you are the bear and want to save the sheep from the wolf
That closing scene was confusing. Was the portal pulling them in or pushing them away?😅
Definitely pulling in. The sheep had to fight against it to move away and grab the bear, and then had to drag the bear.
@RealCivilEngineerGaming should do a Bridge Review compilation video. Then, in the comments we could tell Matt which ones he got right and which ones he got wrong...
12:59 Makes sense. Plushies don't have inner ears.
Oh man! I'm sure someone else will have mentioned it already, but this reminds me of Ori and the Blind Forest. Like... a lot.
And free? That's mad! Definitely gonna try this. And play Ori again lol
I've seen the walkthrough before this, but your narration making it better
This is very clearly inspired by things like Hollow Knight and the Ori games. And I approve of that vibe! We need more of it.
16:10 From Mario to Sonic to ROBOT UNICORN ATTACK :D
0:03 got me a bit scared for a bit, but then Matt finished it and it calmed me down
10:30 lmao, I think that's in itself a reference to Alice in Wonderland but okay XD
Watching him play this makes me really want to see him play a game like Hollow Knight. Way outside his usual wheelhouse, but it would be entertaining to watch him try to navigate.
12:40 the invention of the particle acclerator:
Feels like a Demo/Teaser for the full game.
Mat loves architecture
As a French I can confirm that we indeed have magic sheep and massive underground cities
that bridge at 8:38 looks like it's from the mines of moria
8:31 that reminds me of the bridge in the mines of Moria, from The Lord of the Rings. Probably a little Easter egg.
You may want to look into the Unravel games, which have a similar aesthetic to this.
8:14 the lever animation is top tier
I love the art, also the animation is really cool, this game is very cool, I like the way it flips the switch
8:45 kind of reminds me of the city of Lucien from the Amulet Series
After you got the dash it was basically that Robot Unicorn Attack game! 😂
The music in the running section is peak, really enjoyed this.
Free games are normally good
True
Phone games say otherwise
That is true for games not on play store
This good?

Like I’ve always said Beauty can help people see what’s right and efficiency, if those two things merge, they create something amazing
Aristotle beat you to it with the transcendental virtues of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
I can recommend Against The Storm if you like the first hour of a city builder.
I love that game. Best new game I have played in a long time.
17:18 has an infra moment
Ar about 16:32 You said that the map went from Mario to Sonic, but I think to was more like Robit Unicorn Attack.
We need a theory on that and how did those people die? Many of them had blood stains around them
You should make a video with all your bridge reviews
4:27 is it just me or the sheep is just constantly creepily smiling?
the bridge review was new never seen someone do those lmao
12:43 particle excllerator
Self repairing bridges were actually invented in Hyrule.
So.... MiniDisc actually predates CD's and has much better sound quality, but.... it was crazy expensive. A minidisc player in the 80's would cost you around $3000. However I used them in theater for track playback, and they have huge advantages that was not available on anything else until we made the move to full digital, like live editing, buffering, and track labeling. You actually plugged a ps2 style keyboard directly into the player and typed names for the tracks.
Wow! Beautiful style, and the sheep animations are sooo cute
Happy 2 million Matt
You should definitely put RCE hard hats in your merch store. People will buy them.
My first thought when you got the sprint power was of the chair.
This is the only way that I could ever withstand enduring even the very best platformer at the best price. Thank you, Matt, for all those epic double-jumps and remembering which button does what when. The story, the world, the art, and everything about this little game was just beautiful! Thank you, MrSuicideSheep, for adding one more lovely gem to the world.
You should give magic powered bridges some complex score like 9.7+4i/10
You forgot the cassette tape for ways we stored recorded music
LMAO I love that they used the Wilhelm scream xD
11:23 we require more minerals !
haha seeing this on this channel is a surprise, I haven't watched your vids in a while and this is what got recommended to me month after it's upload
I was one of the beta testers for this game. It's a shame the soundtrack couldn't be heard in your video because it's really dope. the sound effects are so well done. I was surprised when the game got a full release and it was for free.
Thank you for playing Sheepy!
The bear looked like a red panda
What's the music used for bridge review. Could someone answer? Would also be neat to have that info in the description.
You should play rain world. I think you’d really like it
12:56 what does that anime plushie do there in the background?
21:01 perfect representation of the "coyote jump"
4:42 OH GOD NO IT'S PATCHES
Game suggestion: "The Swapper". It's a puzzle platformer with a nice story behind it.
I would really, really, really recommend you playing the game with music. It is amazing and a very big part of the experience
Anyone remember Cave Story from like 200 million years back?
This game kind of looks like that game.
It's like a cross between the incredible Ori game and Limbo or Inside, super cool!
cassete tapes and vinyls was a jam back in the 70s to 80s.
Congrats on the 2M RCE!
The fact that you didn't add the link to the game in question is an architect move.

Yes. You're not very good at them. But also you are great at performing them.
"Apotheosis" x.x
The sheep basically ascended beyond the mortar realm
This game needs a part 2… with more bridges
I was loving this game, but now I'm stuck at the end for days
I suck at platforming😭
This reminds me heavily of the first couple oddworld games for ps1! It's sick!
Yesterdays premiere was incredible RCE
Oh dang this was released on my Birthday. Now I must check this out
Bro i played this like a week after its release and boy me and my cousin had a blast
The first three abilities that you unlock look like the dash, the double jump and feather of Celeste
Yeah, eventually you realize "this is celeste with sheep". Thank god it's not as painfully hard as celeste

12:16 SECRET TUNNEEELLLLLLLL
Hey when are we getting the bridge review collection?
This has very strong ori and the blind forest vibes
I love that the editors makes the random things he says funny😂
Man, I want to pay them just for watching someone else do a playthrough. What a cool game.
PS that's a hell of a lot of effort on artwork for something that is free. Those details are crazy.
That was a cute little game. I wonder if it's a 'tech demo' to get them recognition for a much bigger project?
Seeing this made me think of two games outside your usual style that maybe you might wanna look into: Mushroom 11 (not a series, AFAIK, the number is an artistic choice I guess), and Webbed (by Sbug Games). Both with surprisingly reasonable prices on Steam, and in Webbed you can even earn a hardhat to wear (in game).
14:20 Bmw roadsters 😂
I played this game a long time ago and the ending made me feel very warm and fuzzy, wonderfully made game.
I didn't know that the game was a documentary of Paris underground.
I don't understand why they were surprised to find the remains of an ancient civilisation there though.
Reminds me of Escapegoat on the Xbox 360
8:29 you found the ministry of magic somewhere no clue were though
