Crazy to see this blast from the past. They really held up their end of the bargain from back in Season of the Dawn. We finally got OUR sword.

@@me_Gustavback in season of dawn, we travel back in time with the help of Osiris, to bring back saint 14 using the corridors of time, which is what the vex use to time travel.
We discover a timelost vault from the future, which turns out to be a tomb dedicated to our guardian. In it we see what is supposedly our final resting place, and on top of the coffin is the ergo sum sword.

It's funny, because people who leaked this were calling it trash, but this is probably the most interesting exotic ever.
At the end of the day, it's still a sword which is probably why they were disparaging it. Still, I do agree that it's very fun, Bungie really went crazy with the mix-and-match this expansion.
random rolled intrensic and frame, and its a special weapon, whats not to hate especially since special is easier to drop than heavy

Exotic Perk: WitnASS, fires a white cloud out of the barrel with buttcheeks instead of smoke heads, deals 420% extra damage to dread, and 69% extra damage to guardians

How are y’all getting 3 I only got two and it says no more ergo sums for this week, it may be because I reset the pathfinder once before I finsished the quest 😢
I’m happy with how refreshing the final shape has been so far, prismatic feels so smooth to use, the pale heart is such a nice contrast to the destinations we have already, and of course Cayde being back
The random perks from other exotic weapons are nutty! Can’t wait to get a full as-SWORD-ment of these rolls!

My thoughts on this weapon: Gjallerhorn as a sword but better.
I got 2 so far, a Risk runner variant and a graviton lance variant.

Any mix of the 4 rolls i want on my ergo r caster frame or the frame that allows it 2 slam hard like the crownsplitter or thronecleaver and have either stormbringer or wolfpack rounds

I got wave sword and storm bringer which is quite cool
Mine was a castor frame, and my exotic trait was kills with the weapon make insect robots that chase enemies and explode
Anybody know if each exotic perk is tied to a specific frame and elemental type? The solar perks on the solar sword make sense (that’s what I got), but are Wolfpack rounds always void for example? Are the frames also tied to it, like every solar sword with solar perk is heavy frame but every arc sword with arc perk might be lightweight frame for example? Or are those random

Ya know i miss exotics being rng drops. Now theyre just given after a lengthy quest or grinding a dungeon or raid for a chance at the end of that activity. Oh and the guaranteed one from buying the battle pass or hitting X lvl in the free pass. Man i just miss that from D1

Delete the actual folder within your file manager for it to work. Steam keeps the malfunctioning parts in when uninstalling, so a full deletion should work.

@@JackRipperiscoming its the perk from gjallarhorn, the heavy attack is from aggressive frame swords. both of which can be completely different, could get a sword with insectoid grenades and wave frame. Just because it looks the same doesn't mean it is the same. its the sword we saw at our grave in season of dawn
