Hey, Justin, the first clancy letter ever dropped on Josh's birthday btw
Saw this on Twitter and thought it was worth saying. The 25 could mean 25 songs in total. Clancy gave us 13 and the craving (single version) makes 14 so far. That leaves 11 songs. A while ago this era Tyler tweeted “adihgrtnsnd” and joked it meant nothing. There’s 11 letters there and so that could mabye be a tracklist for a second album. The letters “I” and “s” are also there which could stand for “Im not home” and “Starting line” - two theorised song titles before Clancy was announced. Also, In his recent Overcompensate breakdown Paul Meany mentioned 25 tracks. He was referring to stems but knowing this band that could be a hint at 25 songs too.
I really hope the 25 doesn’t mean 2025. I love paladin strait is amazing, there’s no way it’s the end
Sadly I think it does mean 2025. The band always does two tours during an album cycle in the states. The ultimate chapter could drop before the 2nd tour.

@@maryynekdied Sadly I think they’re going to wait until 2025 to actually finish the story. I’m not a huge fan of them waiting that long simply because they were hyping this album up as this big finale when it seems like it wasn’t yet. Don’t get me wrong the album is amazing but I feel like they should’ve marketed it in a different way

Maybe 25 songs total for both albums so subtract 13 from 25 you would have 12 … so 13 songs in Clancy and 12 songs for the delux album?? And I believe it could drop around the time we get the mv for paladin as well? Which would be in June

Not just is June 18th Josh's birthday but it is also the date of the first Clancy letter so until further information comes out I believe June 7th we get Paladin Strait mv with the announcement of this double album or whatever you wanna call it come June 18th
Considering how Clancy was always marketed and talked about as being the "end of the DEMA storyline", and how the Clancy album itself literally ended on a CLIFFHANGER, there NEEDS to be something else after this. Logically speaking, there HAS to be something after this to ACTUALLY end the story.
I thought they would do a double album even before this news based on what tyler said before they premiered it on the live stream!

I'm really trying not to hype myself up, but like. If we get a double album, I'm going insane. And if the 25 means the year 2025, im okay with that. I love that they are stretching this out a bit. The missed opportunity for exactly 9 years between Blurryface and Clancy is sad, but we got an extra week of being excited and now we get to wait for the Paladin Strait MV and we get to enjoy this time for a tiny bit longer. I love that. So I'd be okay to wait a bit for the rest of it, but it would be a weirdly long time, especially considering the tour begins this year.
Double Album? Deluxe? I'll take anything I wasn't expecting more lol. I just hope it isn't 2025 I can't wait that long and I think they should do it before the tour too.

Is a double album really possible? They filmed 14 MVs for their LP Clancy. Would their record label fund another album? The existence of two versions for Overcompensate and The Craving, makes me think a deluxe version for Clancy is the most likely scenario.
I’d say it’s POSSIBLE but I think a deluxe version of clancy makes more sense, and it’s possible that the 25 means 25 songs total but who knows

I think we're massively overthinking this - what if it's just a sign that the deluxe album has 25 songs. "Clancy ultimate chapter" doesn't sound like a double.... It would likely have a different, more separate title of that were the case.

Double albums can be released separately. The two halves of Imagine Dragons’ Mercury - Acts 1 & 2 were released 10 months apart.
i cant imagine, they are going to release this ultimate chapter after the world tour. it could be the 14th song on clancy or at least an ep, but i dont think they will drop another album, because they promoted clancy as the end.

Yeah, I got most of my pre-orders today and was assuming there would be another letter from Clancy in the letter book, but nope.
