In this 'Fantastic' video, I shoot local and head to the Northumberland coast. I hadn't done much planning and rather enjoyed the freedom of exploring the quieter parts of the coastline looking for anything that would catch my eye. I try my best to give some tips and techniques and encourage you all to get out and shoot more landscape photography.

You're the reason why I mostly shoot now in long exposures and I find it more challenging than faster shutter speeds as you take in the movement of objects into consideration as well. You're amazing at what you do Tom and it's ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC how you've done this based on a comment. LOL.

can't get over how awesome your videos are, they have single handedly convinced me to spend a bunch of money on a camera. tripod and filters and I'm spending every weekend hiking around trying to learn how to take photos :D

Great episode! Don't let those negative trolls get you down! I love that last image with the castle. Like you said, it's not all about grand views and lighting and epic locations, just your artistic eye wherever you are.

Great tips and motivation (no excuses about weather) in the end. I am an amateur photographer (aspiring to be better) with Canon 5D M3 with bunch of ultra wide to 300mm zoom. Also I don't lack in excuses. Inspired to go out and shoot every week.

Once again. A fantastic video. Please don't let the "asshats" of social media get to you. You're brilliant. I watch many of the vids here on you tube and the one thing that stands out with you and your work is a sense of a shared adventure. All other photographers seem to NEED to lecture us on how to do it "right", And instead, you invite us out to share your experience. I look forward to your vids because of this. This video put a picture of a beach I visit multiple times in the summer in my mind. and how I would love to just explore it a bit now. On the end of Montauk Long Island in New York. There's a light house and rocky beaches. And I wonder if I could make anything of it all. Thanks again and please keep them coming.
