Wow, I am speechless and abundantly blessed. Thank you Peter! And thank you to everyone who is following and showing so much support! Words could never express my gratitude. Excited to continue on this journey and share more content. 3rd place, wow, thank you 🤍
Nice work Jordyn, you deserve it!
Congrats love 😍🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺 yohoooo
One for the girls yassss!!!
Congratulations!
Congrats!!
The incorrect password was my personal favorite 🤣 it got me at the end
I wish people could understand french so they would appreciate the rhyme. It was beautiful
As a french guy i totally agree, i had goosebumps all long the short film
I agree. I also had goosebumps.
Tellement vrai
There the CC that allows you to understand
I'l from Belgium, but the flemish part. So i speak a little bit of french.
BUT..you didn't need to understand the language. That's what made him the winner. The shots, the pace of the edit is what told the story. 👍
3rd place: Emotional, I have goosebumps and I wanna cry
2nd place: LOL. I'm laughing, cracking my ribs and crying
1st place: Just amazing!!!
I cried... like that thing was spot on holy shit...
I love how the winner is french, makes us international filmmakers realise that international films are getting more atention. Greatings from Brazil!
As well as the 2nd place winner, he's German!
@@rylanphillips6083 Didn't realise, that is prety awesome!
I didnt think he saw every video, i uploaded my on my channel now. have a look, but u need to watch till the end to make sense
I think it makes total sense that 1st place went to France. The French kill it at every film festival. The French New Wave changed the world of cinema forever. I've always thought of French filmmakers as the best in the world on a technical and poetic level, they're fearless and original.
Brasil presente hahaha
Congrats to all the winners! And to all the Filmmakers who lost, (including myself) Remember not to down yourself, you gave it shot and gave it your all. Don’t look at it as a loss but as an opportunity to get better, to learn from mistakes and grow. Never shy away from a challenge and never quit because of a loss. Set goals, dare to fail and always be a Dreamchaser!
👏 Humble. Great message! Hope
You never quit!
No one lost, everyone is the winner who decided to participate in this challenge.
👍. I know I am nowhere near to those who all submitted, I would like to gave a shot. And challenge myself to create a story. 😊. Congratulations to all who submitted you done sometime in that 72hrs well done.
ngl that 3rd one was total shit cmon a girl weeping with some stock footage type videos and that's it
.
Expect for the one that took first place all of the others are shit, i saw much better films that deserved to be in the list
GOOD STORY WINS. ALWAYS
I think these vloger filmmakers don't know what makes a good story
Great message my friend
Great work to all, but...
'Your password is incorrect.'
Bloody hell, I'm STILL laughing.
Peter, You are changing many people's lives and inspiring so many people across the world. The world is truly a better place because Pete is here. Love from Africa, Kenya.
Yes bana 🖤🖤
I can't wait for the day my cinematography capabilities match the stories inside me.
that pretty much sums it up doesnt it. kinda depressing.
Just found your channel through here and watched your "How I make content" video, you have an incredible cinematography eye! Keep it up :)
They never will
@@nomadikmind3979 I don't think so! Gives me something to strive for. How are you feeling about your own creative process?
@@VenatusLogic Wow. I appreciate that comment more than you know! Thank you so much Ryan :)
Awesome job to everyone who entered! Even if you didn't win 72 hour a film is an awesome accomplishment! NOW lets do it again >:)
Dude, I think Rita likes you 😂
I didnt think he saw every video, i uploaded my on my channel now. have a look, but u need to watch till the end to make sense
Here to someone who won by working on Premiere for the first time, shot everything in 72hrs and submitted. Unfortunate, but you know what? Lets do it again💪
👍👍
But when ? And why do the winners have amazing equipment. It's like winning when you already won.
The winning short film is amazing. How the emotion and the longing for just a normal life (whatever a normal life is) are shown is beautiful. Love it! I am also impressed how many short films were entered. There is lot of creative potential. Would love to see more of these short movies.
Beautiful work of art done by everyone who participated. It really was inspiring. I know there is also a lot of other people who submitted work that the viewers didn't get to see, but I know they put their heart and soul into it, and I bet they are all winners. Good job to everyone and keep going!
The storytelling in those 3 films were great!
Loved them!
Even though I didn’t win, it was still kinda cool to know he watched mine.
Yeah right?
Very nice bro, I'm proud
3500 entries you reckon? lol
@@EltonLuisSipp opa, somos dois!!!
@@iamkamsai idk but if he took this long then maybe...
These are great motivators for people. It's wonderful you do these, Pete! Especially, in these slow income and frustrating times.
I love these shorts, esp the coffee one, and the use of the language in the French one to confuse. Soooo good. I am subscribed.
This method is so good to find excellent gems. 👏 🙏
When he said "that is the 2 minute Tuesday intro" I genuinely thought it was Tuesday. 😂
Me too 🤣
It’s Tuesday when PM says it’s Tuesday
mini heart attack for me because i am supposed to turn in new overlays for a facebook livestream of a radio station by tuesday
i dont think you saw my video :( for all who want to see another entry , i just post it on my channel. lates video ! watch till the end . try not to cry .. just kidding
All the others who didn’t get the prize be like : I must be in the 4th place.
Congrats to all the winners! so inspiring to see so many creative individuals out there, i hope you all achieve your goals and leave your mark in the creative industry... well done. Thank you Peter for hosting such a great contest and introducing us to such inspiring individuals and providing such great incentives.
Adil and Farva 🙌🏾
I like the lighting in this vid a lot. The room being lighter felt more welcoming and friendly
Me watching the first entry thinking... So that's the 3rd place?
Damn I have to go a long way
Having a good story makes it so easy to draw in an audience. I feel like I really struggle with having a good story for all of my videos. Watching these winners, it's a little more clear some of the things I need to improve to have a better story. This was great to watch!
How unpredictable: Pete chooses a video with a coffee making montage as one of the top three... 😂
Naj Renchelf But what is really surprising is that it wasn’t number 1 😂
Chris Ferdinand, you’re not right, but you’re not wrong either... 😂
its the story thats make it no.3

Thanks Peter!
Indeed
I love that the winners here didn’t demonstrate the absolute most high end professional image/sound quality but rather focused on using what they had to tell a compelling story. I know it’s cliche saying gear doesn’t matter and your title hits it home, but it’s cool to see you backing that idea in the form of a contest. Love this Pete and congrats to the winners
I didnt think he saw every video, i uploaded my on my channel now. have a look, but u need to watch till the end to make sense
Wow... amazing work from all three. It is incredible how much emotion and story can be conveyed without saying, or understanding a word.
I can watch this over and over..vary inspirational and just plain beautiful to see positive vibes at work
Even though I didn't win, I had so much fun pushing myself to create my first short-film. It was such a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience. Honestly, thanks Peter!
When he said in second place Daniel... , I really thought he was about to say Schiffer, I was like bruh
so i did bruh
Yo schiffer dont have to do any vids he just need to participate and he'll win 1st place for sure 😂
Me too
Same😂😭😭
Thank you Peter and thank you everyone who submitted videos! It was great and inspiring!
We just saw 3 of over 3000 film makers creations and I’m feeling inspired with ideas racing through my mind, excitedly grouping together and running solo grabbing my attention. Stunning work to all t he winners and I’ll check out more entries later on. Nice one Peter, keep the collective, creative juices flowing
Yes, to another filmmaking challenge :D
Congrats to the winners!! These films were amazing!!
I can't express, how long i've been waiting for this 🙌🙌
Congrats to all the winners! I’m down for another challenge, because this was the motivation I needed to get me to dip into filmmaking, and even though I felt woefully inferior with my submission, I still learned a lot from the experience, and I’m confident that I can do better next time!
You know what I love? I love that power radiates from this piece of content. These are so well done that I can learn far more from seeing the video and noting the feelings that I got while watching.
these are incredible! peter you're gonna have to do another one of these again, i'm sure many others like myself missed out haha
Every time I do a film challenge it is such a good learning experience it’s more about the process then the end result
Congrats to the winners, all very worthy. Loved the opening of the first, an absolute hook instantly. The second was such an ace idea, totally worked. The winner - my word, that was stunning, really stunning.
Yes! You should do another one Peter. Can't believe I Missed the 2020 one. But ready for the next one
The winner's cinematics skills are lit. Really appreciating it.
Something about French voiceo overs and intense film making just hits different :o
Def felt the same way.
yes, please another short film competition like this, i miss the last one, definitely join the next one!
Yeeeeesssss to your question! Watching these three short films was so inspiring! There is so much talent out there that it gives me back confidence in this crazy world! Loved it!
4:54 I felt that. Her saying that and just that comformation that it doens't just seem like the film community isn't very diverse yet through my perspective is so inspiring. Wow love to see her grow big and hope to come by her side soon😉
I don't know how , but I was able to understand the winner's language without looking at the subtitles , it is that much good !!
That's magic of cinematography....
I keep going back to the older videos! I Love em all!
Man, these videos are so clean! For people who have followed Peter for the past couple years, I think I can speak for everyone who I say WELL DONE SIR. Great to see how far you’ve come and how your channel has developed.
So, if someone hasn't followed you now I can't imagine why, has missed a lot
And please make a summer competition where you give an idea or even say what the story should be because I struggle the most with finding the idea for a film
Love your vids👍 definitely the number one CZcamsr
I didnt think he saw every video, i uploaded my on my channel now. have a look, but u need to watch till the end to make sense
One day you guys, we will have a camera quality as good as Peter...I love watching his videos
Inspiring all around - thanks for all you do, PM. Congrats to the winners! These were so good, I hope we can see all of them somewhere, some time!
Awesome job everyone and great job Pete for fitting five adverts into the final you tube video!
The chaos and simplicity of him explaining is what I always come back to.
Thanks for hosting this Peter! I didn’t win, but I learned a lot!
So so on for another one of these competitions because I missed out on submitting for this one.
Massive well done for the winners...amazing videos. And a huge thanks to legends like Peter who offer competitions like these!
All threes well deserve the winning. They are all inspiring in every form. Great work guys.

Congratulations to everyone who managed to get a short film out in 72 hours!!!
Oh yes, let's do another competition in the summer!!!!!! 💖
Absolutely beautiful, touching, well-made stories . I am so glad you help film makers out there make their dreams come true and thank you fro all the inspiration and for teaching us how to make simple things look and feel big and cinematic. Better than any college TBH lol
Love this ! Sometimes it’s not what it’s about it’s how it makes you feel !
The creativity of the second video is just wow. So simple yet so creative.
And I almost felt like I was watching a French movie 😄
It takes a lot to impress me. That keyboard one was hilarious LOVED it
Pete these challenges are so cool. I hope to see more in the future to help inspire creators to break from their shell like many have done with this one! Your content is always awesome and inspiring, thanks for being you!
Amazing!!! I loved them all so much, amazing edits and build ups, congrats :)
Rewatching this as a reminder as I try to incorporate more storytelling into my videos!
Yeah. I always watch it again and again for our channel
This time I'll be sure to submit on time! It was the second film I'd ever made so it took me a while to remember how to use Premiere... and I filmed it all on that Sunday, Father's day, so there's that! I'm really proud of it though! Peter, thanks for the kick in the pants to get me going. Congrats to all the winners and to all those that participated!
These are so amazing and diverse. To all the people who submitted their videos, you guys are the champs!
And yes definitely Peter, another challenge like this would be so amazing. I’ll definitely participate in it and fight my reasons off in not letting me participate.
Another challenge? Definitely. Thanks, Pete, for giving film makers a chance. What an inspiration.
You are truly a gem, learnt and implemented a lot from you.
You’re popular with ladies I see.
True brother!
Storytelling really is the most important thing
That movie, "Your password is incorrect" was so funny at the end though! Clearly the _Bestest._ imo ☕ 😂😂😂😂💋🇨🇦
is important but the instrucions was to create a short film not just a video
For me my submission is really a short film and you can check for your own in my youtube channel
This was awesome and really inspiring. Keep these film making challenges coming Pete. Champion the platform to showcase filmmakers!
OMG man! This video in particular was something else! So many emotions and hidden messages for me. Like I’ve been wanting to do more filming and photography since I’m a photography student and this video was the click! I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and they are pretty inspiring!!!! I’m trying to make a daily routine to watch at least one of your videos no matter the time of the day I sit, watch, laugh a LOT and learn a LOT TOO!!!! So thanks for everything Peter!! Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🖤🙏🏼
I wasn't expecting to see my BMB video 1:20 in 😅 This is unreal! For those who did win, congrats! You deserve it! (Try again is my fav)... But honestly, it blows my mind that it was an honourable mention. Thanks for the challenge Peter, this was indeed a great learning experience. Let's do this again soon ✊🏾
I bet it was better than the 3rd and 2nd place movies
Anyone else thinking that the „BWHATS UP everybody“ clearly belongs BEHIND the intro? Also great vid as always and great job to everyone that entered!
This is one of your best youtube uploads Peter, I hope you keep these contests going for a long time.
Wow! Incredible creation to all those who contributed. I liked everything I saw and hope to get to those levels one day.
Vacilou com o Mano David,
David >>>>>>>>>> qualquer um
ahh that 1st number short film that's start with empty frame and only that person sitting in middel that hit really hard worth it.....
Yes do another challenge. This was super fun and would love to challenge myself again! I appreciate the artistry is this craft.
Very very well done all 3 winners! Thank you!
finally, i watch a video from your after uploading it directly, achievement unlocked!
"It just takes a great story...despite the equipment you're filming it on" Me and all the other small youtubers agree! I'm definitely saving up for a camera though! Anyone else?
My goal is a softbox
I want an R5...probably gonna "settle" for an R6...lol
Which camera are you saving up for sis?
@@Rockyroadpool Understandable goal! I'd love one down the line. Are you close to being able to get one?
@@DarkCornerStudios Both are great cameras! Are you getting is soon?
Congratulations to all three who won. And thank you Peter for your inspiration and openness to the world. A theme is a great idea! For me, that is thriving.
Beautiful films! And ofcours do this again! It is very inspiring to see all these creaters!
72hours woah! Writing my CZcams video script sometimes take more than 72 hours to write and pull off. Congratulations to everyone who dared to compete, meet the deadline and eventually entered the competition. You all won by doing so. And thanks to Peter for being an inspiration for many creators. And to everyone reading this...
don’t stop creating.
Personally I think No. 2 was best. Short, funny, surprising and with a deeper message that one might think in the first place 👍 Can’t get anything out of the other two, though. Anyway, it’s a matter of taste.
Storytelling is absolutely an art, I crave to understand more of my own story to share it with others.
Inspiring!! My whole life I have been searching for my passion. What I like and dislike. What's the thing that drives me mentally, physically, spiritually and thank God I have found it to be photography and film making. I have no gears nor gadgets but I could feel this energy that I could be doing something that is meaningful to me.
Thanks, Pete! And thank you to all those amazing people who submitted the challenged. I am moved
The films:
I didn't enter because I find myself struggling to film while also having to be the subject of my films as I know absolutely nobody who is into the same things I am and willing to be my film subject/actor. But seeing these has increased my desire to just make with what I have now and work out the rest later!
The outtakes:
I must get through about 3 litres of water a day (not a clue what that is in gallons) and after about a week from when I started I thought
'So this is what you're meant to feel like'
... IT DOES GUD THINGS!
watch the movie of David Mota
Vim pelo David
Perto dos ganhadores, o do David ficou bem pra trás, infelizmente.
Wooow the last video deserves absolutely that first place. Well writted and executed!
Definitely another challenge. Getting to see what your viewers can come up with in a tight timeframe is awesome.
Show women we can be filmmakers too? We are, and we have been since at LEAST 1911. Well over a century! Women such as Lois Weber, Alice Guy-Blaché, Germaine Dulac, Lotte Reiniger, and Mabel Normand were leaders in their respective fields, and they were supported by an industry filled with female screenwriters, and some hugely important female producers producing movies for a majority female audience. Lois Weber was one of the greatest film directors of the early 20th century - a heavyweight rival to D.W. Griffith and Cecil B. DeMille.
As a woman who has been a filmmaker for almost 2 decades, I just feel that comments like that set us back (even if only in people's minds). I'm a female Production Manager of an extremely talented female-led video production crew. We're out there doing it -- and we don't even give it a second thought. It's what we're called to do, what we're passionate about -- and gender has nothing to do with it.
I've actually found that women are the most powerful, driven, effective producers who really have that edge to make things happen. We're not underrepresented. At all. Just Google Female Producers in Hollywood. It's a brilliant list. (People like Emma Thomas, Charlize Theron, Kathleen Kennedy, Shonda Rhimes - to name a few).
Keep making films and keep learning your craft because you're passionate about it, because you're driven, because you have a story to tell -- not because 'women can be filmmakers too.' Of course we can. There's no question about that at all.
Keep up the great work. Beautiful footage!
ok, I was not the only one. Thanks! Danni
Yes that pissed me off too !!!!!
well said!
It’s today’s victim mentality. Forget facts, statistics, and decades of change, we read somewhere that everyone’s a victim so here we are.
well said. her comment is just sad.
I so enjoy watching the results of these challenges, so I vote, “yes”. Let’s do a summer challenge.
Wow! The winner definitely deserved it! I had no idea about the challenge but I would love for there to be another one so I could send my submission this time. Thanks, Peter!
This is the kind of content I love to see. Amazing work to everyone who entered!
Great job everyone! A good story beats expensive equipment every time!
6:58 Interstellar "Cornfield Chase" plays in the ears...
That first film brought tears to my eyes. I want to be a filmmaker too, and I just felt DEEPLY inspired by it. I just find myself with no excuses to start my filmmaking desire.
This was great, thanks Peter!
Well done to the winners!
Awesome videography.
Cant wait for the next film comp 😉
