Hi do you have any idea my the pressure hose coming from pump suddenly start to jump like theres air in the system ? No clog lines and no air that i know of ive checked the system
Hello I haven't had that issue but there is an O-ring inside the connector that could be bad if leaking any water. Also make sure the pump 4 bolts are nice and tight. I would also check that the motor is running smooth like the spark plug or maybe it has bad old gas. I always use non ethanol fuel in mine and I have have never had any carb issues. The only thing that I can think of if maybe the rubber mounts at the bottom of the pressure washer are damaged and the unit is vibrating more than normal which I had that issue a few times so the machine shakes more than normal. I have a problem that my pressure washer has no water come out from the garden hose inlet to the outlet hose gun. I took the unloader valve off, the pin is moving, no blockage on the holes, put it back and water still not coming out to the hose gun. Thanks for advices.
Hello first check if water is coming out of the pump without the pressure hose. Connect your garden hose to the pump and turn on and if water comes out then could be the gun sometimes the trigger gets stuck. If water doesnt come out of the pump you can also check the screen were you put the gardens hose can be clogged. If by any change you dont have a screen filter at at garden hose connector get one. I had some rocks mess up one of the internal O-rings. If still no water you can take the pump apart and check for debris on the valves or can be stuck from no use. Always put lubricant on the pump when in storage. Also use no ethanol fuel if you will store it for the season or empty fuel. Hope this helps

hello these pumps are very good some of the newer pumps are not as good. You can buy a repair kit for less than $25. You can get pumps on Amazon for example like this one AAA 4400 psi amzn.to/44fgF8A or AAA 3700 psi amzn.to/3xQWBgC make sure you measure the bolt pattern and specs before you purchase. Also the power specs of the engine to make sure it can drive the pump if you are putting a bigger one than it comes with. Thanks

My pump oil says itâs SAE 30 pressure washer pump oil. You said to use 15 w 40. Is that going to be a problem?
Hello I used the Simpson Premium Pump oil which I only see that one on their site. My AAA EW4040 pump says 15w-40 on it. I have seen other pumps use the non detergent 30 from different brands. I dont think it should be an issue but if your pumps states non detergent 30 use that one just in case.
i bought a 4000psi simpson pressure washer and it came with 4cycle engine oil only, am i supposed to purchase that pump crankcase oil? i figure for 900USD it should come included for first time use.
to clarify its a bag of 10w30 4cycle engine oil on the 60869 simpson pressure washer, im assuming it works for both idk why my owners manual came in german and italian.
Hello the engine oil is usually not installed into the engines which should be the 10w30. As far as the AAA Pump should come with oil installed already. Just make sure you look through the small glass with the red dot to make sure there is oil up to the center dot. If not you would need to get that pump oil for it but should come with it. Manual can be downloaded but should had come with the unit. Follow break in period for the engine and change the oils according to the manufactures specs to make sure your equipment last for long time. Also if you use ethanol fuel dont store it for long time because it will clog up the carburetor. I only use ethanol free fuel. You can drain the fuel before storage and never ever run the pump dry.
