I know this and I’ve never watched wrestling.
As a kid I loved wrestling and love to hear these guys stories. One thing I;ve realized as I;ve gotten older is that Japan was a different world entirely and guys who were a mid card draw here might have been superstars there. It's interesting to here that they'd go to Japan and live a different life and then turn around and come home.
Think about the average height and build of Japanese in the 80’s. Professional wrestling to them was a live monster show.
Even look at Hogan in Japan, his matches were completely different from his typical style in the wwf.
Hell yea. Cool interview
what a great interview. hulk was awesome.
Love hearing Hulk telling us his "behind the scenes" stuff,.....pretty cool .
I remember being a kid in NYC going to MSG to see a WWF (as it was named back then) event with Hulk Hogan. So much fun. Vince Jr. and Hogan did take over man! Good times. ✌️
as a kid this was one of the biggest movie events of my life, it was awesome
I love these old skool wrestling interviews.
What a legend. Such a massive part of my growing up. Nice tee btw.
I met him nanny boo boo 😂😂😂😂 autograph too at a restaurant with his whole family and kids ooooouuuuuhhhwwweeeeeee😂😂😂 Naww fr it was cool ..But jkjk about the nanny boo boo , Boo Boo lol
Hogan's lies and exaggerations are legendary
How dare you disrespect the Hulkster. You are lucky he doesn't crush you with his 24 inch pythons.
@@josephmoore5949they’re probably more like 24cm pythons these days
@@linkgroundwalkerhe’s still a giant of a man you fool.
@@linkgroundwalkerwhatcha gonna do when these 14 cm garter snakes come lookin for you!
Hogan still looks great for his age. Immortal indeed.
Im lucky/old enough to have seen HH in his prime. What a legend.
Tony always makes sure to contribute the most whenever he's on the show. What a great guest
Joe probably warned Tony to stop talking over all his wrestling guests otherwise he would stop having him on the show with them.
Tony from now on: 😶
30 years ago Hogan looked 60. Now he looks 65.
That was an awesome story told by the legend Hulk Hogan wow that was stunning to hear It in that perspective
I have to say, this is bloody brilliant.
I'm kinda surprised Joe didn't know about McMahon Sr
😂😂😂
I didn't know there was a Sr. Vince Jr doesn't call himself that, and I've watched wrestling off and on since the late 80s.
Rocky 3 has always been my favorite of the series. It’s so cool to hear the inside scoop!🤘
Hulk Hogan is such a cool dude. I met him back in the 1980’s when I was in high school in Clearwater FL. He was really down to earth and just a great guy.
Don’t fall for Hulk Hogan’s tall tales, Joe! 😂
🎯 On It
@thelostone6106good question
@thelostone6106roids
@thelostone6106Yes!
We love tales tho
Does Rogan know that Hulk is a professional bullshitter? Either way, I can't wait to listen to this!
I just started in and the first story he tells is BS about being the first opponent for Brock post UFC. Can't take anything he says seriously so no point watching 3 hours of fiction
All pro wrestlers are professional bullshitters, it's literally how they make their money.
That explains the smell😂😂
@@FerretJohnhe’s a mark that doesn’t know what working a crowd means
@@wadewilson1312most people know the difference and the difference with hogan is he’s just straight up lying, not working a storyline for business
Very cool to see it from the Hulks side and to see why he is and was so successful. Some luck, but mostly faith in yourself.
Much love and respect to you Hulk Hogan
Since I was a child, I always like Hulk Hogan. The cartoon was my favorite too.
Tony is has been trying to get joe to be a full blown fanboy for wrestling (WWE) for years now 😂. I love this shit. These stories are great, and joe is like a kid listening to grandpa's old nam stories
If Tony were a comedian, he'd be explaining each joke at the end to make sure the crowd understood the joke and found it humorous.
This is going to eventually lead to Vince McMahon being on the pod, and I honestly cannot wait for that moment to arrive.
I absolutely love Terry. He is one of the nicest most humble human beings you could ever come across. Thanks for having him on!!!
Humble? Hulk Hogan.....Humble? The guy who once said Muhhamad Ali called him the GOAT 😂😂😂😂
@@brendanJ466 Wait. You think Terry Bollea is actually "Hulk Hogan"... in real life? Let me guess, you think wrestling is real too, right? 😄😃😅
No, the make believe characters he played are not real. First he played "Hulk" (the good guy), then played "Hollywood" (the bad guy). I hate to break your heart, but these are all make believe characters. So anything he said... IN CHARACTER, was FAKE.
So, yes, the REAL Terry Bollea is a humble nice man. Hulk Hogan is make believe. Sorry to burst your bubble.
@@TampaCEO He didn't say that comment about Ali in character lol
@@awakenedtarot7306Well... Ali was known to compliment a LOT of people.
I saw an interview with him and Mike Tyson. While Tyson said Ali was the greatest, Ali pointed to Tyson and said HE was.
Will Smith even sang it in his song "Ali said I'm the greatest." That's right after he played Ali in a movie. I'm sure Ali called him that.
So... when it came to wrestling, Hulk was the biggest draw. So I'm not surprised that Ali probably told him that "he's the greatest".
Ali was a humble champ after retirement. He was known to give out compliments and recognize others.
I'm wondering if you think Will Smith and Mike Tyson are also lying when it comes to Ali calling them "the greatest".
Simply amazing. Hulk is one of the top 3 entertainers of the 20th century.
Used to watch these guys in the last 70s, early 80s. Hogan was king.
Throwback WWE stories are always intriguing
Love to see the Hulkster on here, brother HH
I think the business and the personalities are the most interesting thing about wrestling. Like the story might be fantasy but the drama and personalities behind the scenes are entirely legit.
My thoughts exactly. I don't watch much in-ring product, but the behind the scenes stuff I can't get enough of. What a truly fascinating business full of interesting, colorful people.
That was genius inspiration to cast the Hulkster in Rocky as 'Thunder Lips'. Stallone had to be at least a little intimidated by that bad boy!
There was the Crusher and Hercules Cortez when I was a kid. Awesomeness.
Vince Sr united all of the satellite wrestling locations under one main umbrella... He's hugely instrumental into creating the modern day wrestling scene. There's an incredible documentary about his rise on the Peacock network that I highly recommend.
