I don’t know who mixed this but it is absolutely phenomenal. The invective has such a rich and smooth mid and top end. And the drums sound huge too

Keith also bringing the massive mixes and great riffs. This was always my favorite off that first Alluvial record, feel so lucky to have seen them live.
The phrasing of wes hauch is on another level. I cant compare his level to any other guitar player

This track is so deep and so diverse on so many levels. The whole album is just so organic and has that dark vibe unlike anything I’ve ever heard

It's so sick how the riff at 0:50 is single picked but with the double bass it has this illusion of being a palm muted double picked part! I mean unless you've got an 8th note signle note chug thing going underneath, then that feeling would make sense. Just a testament to what drums can do.

Had to watch this twice as the first time I was just paying attention to the different angle shots of the studio. The second time to appreciate the song. Absolutely stellar on all counts, it’s not often we get content from Keith but when we do it’s top shelf quality.

Loved my old 6505+.... and I'm betting they hot-rodded a 6505 and 6505+ circuit. (new board, same [or piggybacked] tube circuit engineering) This is only a theory, but time will tell... the schematics will be posted somewhere in the next few years, cant hide from that. Peavey isn't a guitar amp builder like Mesa or Bogner, they make Bluetooth speakers and guitar hero controllers.... they're all about the bottom line..... i also bet this will be made in China in the next few years.... and only be 0-5% less MSRP... may even be more....
Tiger Blood 1978. Broke my heart when Peavey cheapened themselves by going to china I was always of the mind of have a Peavey in the stable. I was fine with the ValveKings being Chinese, as well as the microheads and 6505+ combo.... they mean nothing to me. But when all the flagship amps were sent to china...
Frick... I'm all Mesa now and will be for life... as far as the Invective being a hotrodded 6505 further speaks to peaveys uselessness and lack of imagination.
Only the first few runs are American made I believe after that it's going to China or Indonesia.

I want to congratulate you on your clean studio and effective lighting. I am very keen on 5:28 where I can see the LED lighting reaching out from behind the metal pegboards which are normally used for tools. One can rock or one can rock excellently. The choice is yours.
