How to Make Taiwanese Flaky Scallion Pancakes | Milk Street on the Road

- Ms. Qin has been making scallion pancakes for over 40 years at the Qin Jia Bing Dian shop in Taipei. It takes years to master rolling the dough onto the pin and then rolling it out like she does here. The dough is oiled, filled with scallions and shaped. It’s then rolled into a circle, allowed to rest and then baked on a griddle. Quite simply, Ms. Qin’s flaky scallion pancakes are the best. For the recipe, go here: bit.ly/31F36jY

Amazing
That’s authentic as you can get hand rolled paper thin❤❤❤❤
I LOVE Milk Street but this video isn’t useful if you don’t at least have subtitles.
And if I’m being really greedy, a rough approximation of the dough recipe would be nice too :)
Otherwise this video just gives me culinary blue balls. I can’t make this food as good as this lady can and you guys can’t either, that’s why you went to Taiwan to find her.
So what do I do now? My scallion pancakes always taste like green onion flatbread 😭
You mean that aside from lacking any useful content it was a great video? They did a great job with the lighting and sound mixing. Really professional work. Keep it up!
spbeckman yeah, basically.
I didn’t want to scare away their 22 year old social media intern with totally negative feedback.
I was hoping that that person would report back to their boss that there needed to be improvements to the CZcams content.
@@19031589 I have to wonder about these videos. I mean they released nothing for 4 months, and then last week released dozens of videos. Do they have money to travel to China and Jerusalem to make a 30 second video? Did they just buy content from someone else? But, why would they spend money on these videos? They didn't even put a title, watermark, or end screen to advertise the Milk Street brand. These videos seem so different from everything else on their channel.
Those clips are raw footage from what would have been their next season but they don’t have the time/money to produce them into full fledged #content so they just fed us the scraps in a short sighted Boomer attempt at #content.
Wow! I'm getting a craving for some tonight at:
11:48pm April 21, 2022 Earth Day.
God I miss Taiwan
Video stops before pancake is made. Also recipe would be appreciated.
Are you watching the same video I’m watching?
