New in 2017, the KTR 450 Tie/Sleeper Replacer from Knox Kershaw Inc. features an enclosed, climate controlled cab, single stroke tie replacement, and user friendly joystick controls. This operator friendly, low-maintenance machine is capable of removing and inserting both timber and concrete ties/ sleepers. The 88”-stroke workhead generates extraction forces exceeding 23,000 lbs. A wide offset cab gives the operator full view of the workhead and ties.
