i actually have the xbox 1 version of this exact controller that i've been using as my pc controller. the FUSION brand actually works VERY well, at least with the xbox controller i got from them

For me I dont use amiibos and use motion controls only when required but other than than I'd pick it over a regular pro controller if they didn't have the original in stock

This new controller looks very cool and versatile indeed, but I personally like the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ controller, and there's also been a recent second model of that controller as well, which doesn't change much but fixes a couple big features on that.
An updated review on the 8BitDO SN30 Pro+ (2) controller if possible? It's okay if you can't, but looking forward to future uploads. :)
Yupp, we have both! Oddly, the ergonomics have started to feel a bit odd and I prefer these newer controllers in-hand! We'll be doing a controller video soon that brings em all up! Writing up the script now :D

Im so used to using my xbox elite paddles that i decided I need them on the switch. this is one of the only controllers I could find with four back buttons. many have two but options with four are slim.

I was looking for something with 4 paddles to replace using an XBox Elite v2 and Adapter dongle, since these all stopped working when XBox controllers mover to BT Low Energy. But no rumble = no sale...

I love solar and it’s awesome it has no drift just don’t like that there is no rumble nor I don’t like the joy cons they feel kind of cheap they can have a little bit of more of a silicone then a plastic feel

My controller has a problem. When ever the face plate is on the game stick cant go all the way down. It’s almost like the faceplate is preventing the controller from moving down all the way. If that makes any sense

Do you think the Xbox elite 2 controller is better than the Fusion PowerA?
In my opinion the 8BitDo Pro 2 is the better option overall. You can customize EVERY single button, stick, back paddles and even the adjust and modify the rumble. Oh yes it has rumble support. It has Macro support. It has multiple profile support. Missing features like no rumble, no macro, limited mappable buttons on a $100 pro/elite controller is just unacceptable now a days. Especially when you can easily get all that and more for half the price. I bought my 8bitDo Pro 2 on sale for $30. When you compare these prices, it's really not worth it no matter how good the Fusion Pro feels which sucks because they came SOOOO close the being the best Switch Pro/Elite level controller.
I'm still buying this one for how good it feels. I don't care much about stuff like rumble support and macros are a cool concept though i have some controllers with macro support and i almost never use it.
It seems good, but it looks pretty ugly in my opinion
@@coophall08 At the time of this videos release, I agree but there have been A LOT of better controllers that have come out since. The 8bitdo Ultimate/Ultimate Bluetooth (for Switch) comes to mind. Looks like the Power A Fusion but has hall effect joysticks (basically no stick drift or issues with deadzones), charging dock which also acts as the wireless dongle as the dongle is hidden inside it, wireless function for PC/Steam Deck, Bluetooth for Switch & mobile devices, 2 mapable back buttons (which I prefer over paddles), evey single button,stick, triggers and even rumble can be programed through the app/software to your liking that can then be store on 3 different profiles within the controller, the ability to assign macros and it can even wake up the switch once it's paired to it. It cost the same price ($70) as the Power A but to me it's a better option for the price due to how much you can do with it. Easily the besy Pro/Elite style controller I've used in that price point since I can use that 1 controller on 4 different devices with no issues. My PC, Steamdeck, my phone and my Switch. Makes buying the official switch controller redundant as it does everything plus more for the same price. Would recommend you check it out. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed with it.

It hasn't affected our gameplay but that's true for most controllers since the faceplates stop them at that edge!

I think its because they cant be officially licensed unless they get their rumble approved thorugh Nintendo and at the moment, they probably cant match HD rumble at a good cost so just scrap it all together :O

I actually like these more than the pro controller, they've been very consistent. good travel distance, very comfortable!
No key remapping is a dealbreaker. Not playing with the Nintendo BAYX layout. Shame, really, would have been very interested in this controller otherwise. Maybe 8bitdo will execute on this controller layout some day and I'll go with that, until then I'll be begrudgingly using their Pro 2 - it has all the right features, just not in my preferred form factor.
Pretty much the same boat. 8bitdo has to stick to their brand, I already feel like the Pros are breaking that rule and doubt they'll go further when it comes to form factor :[ Honestly, i'm looking at PDP for something to fill that hole. They're last few controllers have felt amazing in-hand and they continue to add features sans rumble -_-;
@@itcamefromabox I don't think it would be that far fetched to see them venture to more modern style controllers, heck, they are already making a xbox remote that isn't retro in the slightest and them dropping the Super Nintendo reference from the name of the Pro 2 already hints that they might not always want to be known as "the company that makes Super Nintendo inspired controllers". One can hope at least.
As of right now the best option really might just be to go with the Xbox elite 2 controller + 8bitdo receiver. I like everything about the elite controller, most importantly the general ergonomics, great sticks and the paddles.. everything, but the price. That thing is hella expensive.
I fucking bought this controller like 2 weeks ago and already both the joycons have drifted at least once the left one self corrected itself but the right one is still drifting and im trying to fix it but apparently nintendo dosnt support calibration for this controller like why

I still play with my ps4 or my girls xbox one controller with a mayflash dongle and call it a day lol. I rather use the Xbox controller since it also work seamlessly with my hp omen 15.
Seriously no audio jack for a wireless controller. What the heck, I mean you spend the same amount or less for an Xbox or PS controller and you are not tripping over wires.
