Good clear explanation by Gibran Nasir. The other lawyer should have verified the age matter of Dua Zehra and also the Nikah Nama should have been verified by him before bringing the case before the Magistrate. The Magistrate is definitely at fault for not being a responsible judge. He should have questioned Nikah Nama and asked for supporting documents including age certification and asked his staff to contact the girl's parents. Pakistan's Judiciary is among the worst in the world and at 130/139 in the world. Our Leaders should update all the laws and rules to make things better and clear. We are still following a lot of regulations and laws that were made in the 19th century.
