She didn't play a warm-up prior to this event, which was rather odd. In addition, i think she's not in the right mental state to play tennis right now. I think she should take a break as she looks unhappy and stressed on court whenever she plays. She has spoken about her desire to become a mother. Maybe now is the time to realise that dream. I can't believe she could lose a match against a 16-year-old for the gain of two games - however good young Andreeva is. That's unacceptable (except if you're Martina Hingis!) She must also be feeling pressure regarding the WTA year-end finals moving to Saudi Arabia - she's seen as the catalyst to make that happen and I wonder if she's been pushed to play against her wishes. My opinion is she will never win a major as she's too weak mentally - last year was her big, big chance and she fluffed her lines in extraordinarily appalling fashion! She knows it and we all know it. Even her decision to wear black for the warm-up earlier that day (when she'd worn white - as per rules - in the six matches she played up to that point) told me her mind was not right. Surprisingly lot of empty seats. Ons hasn't been the same since that Wimbledon heartbreak and doesn't look as slim as she did last year. I really like her game but she doesn't look as fit as she should be. Credit to Andreeva maturity way beyond hear years, surely top 20 by the end of the year.
