Emma Head is seeking an investment of $200,000 in return for a 20% equity stake. 'Sweet Mickie' is a personalized cookie company with a cheeky sense of humor, however, having valued her business at $1 million at its infancy stage, Steve gives her a right grilling over "pretty basic questions".

Glen : Petcare
Naomi : Out
Andrew : American market
Janine : Brand
Steve : Where you from, mate?
LMAO so true😂🤣
Haha Steve always
Glen: "Scalability..."
🤣🤣🤣
murrmac : Unoriginal
"Gingerbread makes me fart"
"Oh lovely, thanks for sharing"
His face at the end says it all
that was so gross and unnecessary hahaha
if that's what gingerbread does to him guess whose the real bottom feeder hahaha where are you from?

Never answer the question "Which Shark Did You Come Here Hoping To Get"...it's self sabotage!!
not all the time. It can work to their favor as well. lol
18Mymuse it makes the ones they don’t want pissed and the ones they do want over value themselves because they know they have the upper hand now.
Why is it? Just gets rid of the ones you dont want quicker.
Sooooo agree. It better be more like: YOU'RE ALL BRING ATTRIBUTES THAT I KNOW I COULD BENEFIT FROM.
@@18Mymuse you’re actually giving them an advantage over your valuation if you’re expressing a preference. It would be better if you try to think of reasons to want each and every one of them as a partner.
Is no one really commenting about Naomi saying “let’s make dough baby”
Andrew is in the middle because he's a boss.
Amen top man
The best shark
The American contacts
You mean the American contacts expert
@@patrikpatrik8421 I agree. Out of all of them he's always the most personable and laid back one. Don't forget those killer suits he's always wearing
She dodged all the financial questions and had no idea about her numbers. And she decided to value her business at 1mil based on the 'future'. If this was US shark tank she'd be absolutely slaughtered! She's lucky she got an offer and the valuation I thought was fair.
Janine: "The joy that you get from mentoring someone (whilst taking 49% of their business) is immense" 💰💰💰
"I get more out of it than they do"
Yeh of coarse you do, you take so much of their business💰💰💰
She's always greedy.@@zhabiz5153
I used to watch shark tank US version. I found myself genuinely hating how some of the sharks treated people and eachother. This is a happy median! They aren't jerks but they give honest opinions good or bad. I can actually watch this show without my blood pressure skyrocketing lol.
It's the same with Top Chef, in the US, Gordon Ramsay is a lot meaner than in the UK version
You should see the Mexican version of Shark tank since those sharks are way nicer than this version
On the show they’ve invested in an MLM in the US shirts for the fucking kick them out and called him a con artist
@@NottheMaddenGOAT Is the Mexican version in Spanish I know that’s really privileged of me I just wanna know
@@kimwhatmatters4085 It is in Spanish
So Steve actually ask everyone where they are from to find someone from Melbourne and roast him/her about that. Dude asked the same question thousand of times just to roast 1 person lmao
The funny thing is that they all come from the same 5 cities because Australia doesn't has a lot of big ones :)
Naomi: it’s a perfect opportunity but the packaging isnt red so im out
when she answers steves questions she looks like she wishes she never gave him cookies haha
I love Jenine. She is so nice and yet so sacarastic to Steve.
Steve: “Gingerbread makes me fart”
Jenine: “oh lovely, thanks for sharing”
Trust me Janine is not as nice. She literally takes all the equity she sees. I think andrew is the nicest guy on shark tank
8:44 🤣🤣🤣
That small snip of janenes terrifying smile was perfect
She would have been kicked out of dragons den. She dodged almost all finance related questions!
Mostly because it is a low risk investment for the shark. Many of the operations could be outsourced or they could lease a space to manufacture the products locally for cheap.
It's not a hard business to run. It's just hard to get the actual buyers if you got no connections.
I can't believe she gave Steve a cookie with "Jerk" on it! So rude. I would invest with Steve in a heartbeat.
Yeah. That was horrible. He is my favorite.
It was a joke
@@bananathedog2024 I didn't find it particularly funny.
@@emilyhunter666 i meant that the person who gave it to him didn’t mean it
I feel like the producers probably set that up. I doubt she would have insulted someone like that when she is trying to impress them.
that cut to the recap at 7:00 made it look like she took the cookies back after being questioned
'Gingerbread makes me fart'. 'Thanks for sharing'. 🤣🤣🤣
That was a fair offer, especially in the light of her own candid limitations. She will learn so much and move on to make and do more prosperous business.
she would have been laughed out of Dragons Den, there is nothing but a small baking company here, putting words on cookies is not new, and nor is it protectable.
Neither is any other bakery/sweets company and yet Sprinkles and Susie's do amazing.
Ian Lister yeah idk what ur talking about there are plenty of similar things that do much better than what she’s doing right now so obviously it can be done
Ian Lister are you mad? She’s sold $100k worth of cookies. That means there’s clearly something in it
@@ethank5681 true, but what stops someone like Millies Cookies doing the exact same thing. Normally on Dragons Den, they would say there is no barrier to entry and go out.
Ian Lister the barrier to entry isn’t being able to make cookies, the barrier to entry is building corporate relationships, loyal customers, and an audience that cares about her brand positioning. Yes it can be replicated but not easy
"Swipe Right, Sweet Mickey"
She's really good with words.
Many businesses fail to answer the financials part which is frustrating for sharks. That’s the main bit and don’t know why the seekers never prepare.
The red woman: "I'm just here to show off my red clothes, and for that reason I'm out"
What do you mean, I'm confused? She has just one red dress, thank God the show is only once a week, that may give her a chance to wash it! Obviously there is a big leap of faith that she has enough $$ to wash the dress on regular basis! 😎😎😎
@@falgunpatil2372 that's why she doesn't invest. Spends a fortune on dry cleaning
I love the fact that whenever Sharks are out they still be brutally honest with the young Entrepreneur on the other Sharks offers giving them advice and explaining what's going on.
Always love the comments sections on these show . The world is full of arm chair millionaires
STEVE GOT THE "JERK" COOKIE!!!!!
That he is most of the times🤣🤣
Wonderful that Young Entrepreneurs, get the support for their business to grow.
Why does the girl in the blue dress always make an offer WORSE than what was just made 😂😂
nilay kanakia Yeah her name is Ms lowballer
She over values herself.
Power move to make them think she’s more valuable as an investor
I'm convinced Naomi only came onto Shark tank to advertise her dying online business into every episode she can. She even wears the same red dress everytime lol
So, the reason they're always in the same outfits is because we don't see the pitches from contestants in the order the judges see them, meaning the judges have to wear the same thing all the time to make it look as if they are!
Bro that isn't even a dress, that's a blazer
OMG i always think the same
I've never heard of the company. I dolove her dresses though. It is a bit ridiculous for it to always be the same or the blazer though.
Naomi at 4:48 LMAO. My wigs just flown to Alice Springs.
The owner really hates Steve........knives out and the Steve's cookie said it all for her, "Jerk". Preload cookie boxes for shark's.
STEVE: "GINGERBREAD MAKES ME FART "
G: LOVELY THANKS FOR SHARING
A little sweet called “Love Hearts” in England.
nice deal !!! she deserved it !! so sweet and smart.. if I lived in Australia id be buying her biscuits !
Mr wonderful would shoot the ginger bread and call it poopoo in front of the lady who made it without a tinge of regret.
After he told her she would be crushed' like the cockroach that she is...'. I like her but her price percookie is deranged. How many euro is 4 Aus dollars? It better be 1.50. Plus that icing is evil to eat. With everyone fixated on their Paleo etc diets, who, but me, eats cookies anymore? It's become the new smoking in front of babies.
@@tarawalsh-arpaia3928 😂
She needed a lot of help and they saw that. Took a lot of heart to invest in this on their end.
2:25 Based Steve
I saw this show at work and i got curious. Thats why im here lol
When he said pretty good cookies mate to a woman 😂😂😂😂😂
About every second store at Oktoberfest sells this stuff in heart shaped form. I bet she has been there and thought it would work in Australia!
She thought she sounded smart when she said 23% each , could have gone more low (negotiating is key)
There is zero barrier to entry for a competitor. Unless her recipe is actually amazing, this is just a cheap gimmick.
@Kevin You Basically, she can sell and has a small system already up and running. That's all she really has going for her but that's enough to get started apparently
.
Cheap everything
Try making cookies as funny as these ones though lol
0:45 lmao Naomi using the calculator to determine the valuation based off 20% for 200k?
The red balloon is known for her marketing, not her financial skills.
Is better than not knowing...and sometimes the evaluation is quite hard to measure without a calculator
Marko Maričnik she was texting her boyfriend
Kevin Martin Cossio Lozano that’s basic math 🤦♂️ 10%=100k, 20%=200k and so on
@@sebastiand.1305 Absolutely. I'm studying Math, I know that. But what's the problem with a longer method if you still get it right? Math teachers might be strict, but in real life, everything that matters is the result, whether is a long or short proof.
When Steve gets hurt emotionally 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love it sometimes. Just for no reason
Andrew's style is always peak swagger.
"Ginger bread makes me fart."
Thanks for sharing.
Andrew reminds me of my dad.. hurry up make your bloody mind up.. what are you doing 🤣🤣
Great original pitch, but she fell flat on simple questions like what do you expect to turn over in the next 12 months with a shark invested. It was a great (not greedy) counter offer for both sharks at 23% each. Well done.
2:52 lol
"I think a lot of people need to smile more in this world." Camera pans to Steve.
5:22 😂😂😂
2:52 -me trying to hit on a girl, thinking I’m smooth.
"What's your profit mate?"
"Yeah, they're cookies, valuation, Melbourne"
The technique is to just have a really good idea... But value it humongous so that you get the right price on right stakes after all the grilling from the sharks .....
Hmm not really... They often jump out because the value proposed is irrealistic
Steve rocks. He is the best.
100%
1:27 nice shot cameraman
Its simple. When you ask for an investment, ask based on your current gross and net. If you need more money then ask for equity and a loan. But dont go in looking to get an investment based on what u think the projections will be. They want facts based on the numbers your doing now.
Ginger bread makes me fart
Steve you are hilarious 🤣
It’s just a simple cookie with words on it lolol
Binge watching continues
This girl's body is insane but she has terrible posture. She could be a super model with some better posture and confidence.
I don't mean for that to be demeaning or "thirsty," but she is very very attractive and has a perfect pear shape, in my opinion. She looks GOOD, like goddamn.
why is Steve so interested in where people are from
Where's her shirt from ?!
I'm in the USA, these shark's from Down Unda are more pleasant and not as sarcastic as Mark Cuban or Mr Wonderful.
Plus the ladies are far more bloody cute let alone that cool accent. Carry on mate.
People in the comments of these Shark Tank videos don’t seem to grasp that these videos are years old. So they’re commenting things like “this business will never work” without looking and realising that these businesses are actually still going strong years later.
Bite me 🤦🏻♂️😂😂😂
Why does Steve always ask... where you from!? C’mon my man... use something else to break the ice 😆
Why does Glen take his glasses on and off a hundred times.
Jassy Jaz right! 😆
she could have gotten double the money for that chuck of her business. win-win, but still.
Steve goes for her when he got embarrassed
It's all fun and games until you don't know the numbers
"I love the coffee"💗
I'm sold! #coffeeaddict
If you're nervous before presenting on shark tank, just hit a vape. Walk in and make sure they see the vapor blow out itll make you look cool
Shorty said she wants a shark that is hands on. Girl they give jobs they don’t do them.
On god 😂😂
Steve looks like Stan from Gravity Falls XDDD
She needs to change her attitude.
She's pretty smug for someone who bakes smart-ass cookies. What's the barrier to entry? Snark?
I believe aussies need to improve their financial culture a little bit. They manage to create wonderful products, but their valuations are simply outrageous
The cookies look too plain and boring I thought they were soaps or some kind of bathroom product from the color scheme of it
Also the packaging could be improved looks like those snacks they give out in school lunches . Actually those look more better than these cookies.
Right on, Janine :-)
red balloon is always out or low balling
Andrew i love..he reminds me of a big Italian mafia boss in a movie 🎥 lol 💕
...asking 200k for 20%.
Cut to Naomi using a calculator.
Facepalm
This girl got a killa body.
please come to Malaysia
They would've taken 40% (20% each) too I feel...
Half of the deals never go ahead after cameras stops :D
*me checking the comments to see how well they did*
I mean, they are just cookies. Buy some in a gas station and write a genuine card. She is sketchy. No numbers? No deal.
The recipe could be fucking amaze balls that would blow your rocks and socks off
@@jonathanm2690 like any other cookie in a store
Jenny is very easy to predict , if someone is asking for a investment that is more than $25k she is out from the start .
lmao u been watching too much dragons den
man man there’s no such thing.
At the end she got a pretty good deal for her
Gingerbreads make me fart and for that reason “I’m out”
Always leave your options open
The red woman: "No, I AM SANTA CLAUS! And for that reason I'm out"
The cookies tasted great and for that reason *I‘m out*
That's a true shark pitches, most of these are just prototype
jeez she is snappy!
Hello, ladies and gentlemen!
Aint no body want cookies 😂😂
She said “umm” at least 32 times lol you need to be prepared to answer these kind of questions without hesitation
Honestly, her way of talking with the high pitched intonation at the end of most of her sentences is distracting and a little bit annoying.
Her job before was writing corporate tweets... wow. What in the fuck? lol.
